The property itself is beautiful with renovations made to accentuate and preserve the home's origins while providing guests with new features such as a gas fire pit on the front porch. The owners themselves are respectful and gracious hosts who ensured all of our needs were met and we enjoyed our stay. They are knowledgeable of the area as well as do not mind sharing any useful tips when exploring if needed, but ensure privacy is respected. If you are extra lucky, they might even serenade you. I have been here twice, and both times stayed in the room with the bath that is disconnected from the room. It is NOT a shared bath, it is just a few steps outside the room. Not a big deal at all and it's HUGE. Paradise on the Lake is a great home base when exploring the gorgeous Finger Lakes.
