Very creative and delicious cake pops!

Allison and her husband are truly one of the best business owners in Kalamazoo! With Bricks and Minifigs they not only opened al the doors to a super cool concept but also hit the note with all age groups! Who doesn't like Legos.... Early this year in summer, we wanted to have our kid's birthday party at a place where not just kids but even adults have fun and are involved. And with Bricks and Minifigs we hit jackpot. Allison was super nice throughout the process, helped us work through some questions that we had. She ensured that she personally made us feel comfortable and met all the stuff we needed. She is very creative and made the birthday party cater such a memorable experience!! They have a private party room and they had 2 birthday planners with us throughout the event, right from the time we entered till we left. The make kids play super fun car race games, and they had a Lego building competition which adults were more involved in than kids. It was amazing to see that! All kids got very cute party favours by building their own Lego Minifigures!! They have a tie up with Schultz bakery and had an adorable Lego cake and Lego cake pops!! Overall it was an amazing event and super memorable! Thanks to Allison and her amazing staff!!

Great condition Sith Interceptor set, with 2 new Ki-Adi-Mundi and Barris Office figures

They often sell him the wrong items or are completely out of what he needs to get his RC car running. Most recently, he purchased a brushless motor they recommended, and we returned today hoping to buy a transmitter. To our surprise, we were informed that they wouldn't have any in stock until the end of August! To add to our frustration, they have a strict no-return policy, so we're stuck with parts that don't work for us. It's frustrating to rely on a shop that consistently misses the mark on customer needs and doesn't offer refunds for incorrect purchases. We won't be coming back and want to warn others to think twice before buying from them.

I work 2 blocks down the street so was looking at long term relation ship for this next step for me with this new hobby. I noticed the shocks didn't have oil in them so stop in to check asked them they said yes they should have had oil in them but maybe not enough I said well let me grab it from my Jeep and tell me what you think a kid looked to be 20 said there's a $30 charge for that! Hu?? really I said your joking right he said nope I'm like keep that oil and any other stuff I might need I wont buy anything from here! this could have been a great thing but to be like that cant even take 2 seconds to look at something with out wanting money or to get paid! I was shocked that never used to be like that people would give you help with something just as a courtesy good for business. well I had allot of money to spend there maybe not today but there's other cars I might have wanted down the road that one I just bought was $2200 well it wont be from there. ( its going to happen someone some ware will be having a heart attach but before any life saving measures happen there's going to be a charge)

OVERPRICED! My husband made Maple City Hobbies his destination when he wanted to build model…read morerockets with the kids. I don't think he was aware of the existence of Hobby Lobby at the time, so he made the much farther 45 minute trek to Goshen to MCH. Hubby said the store was slightly dirty but the person working polite. He said they had a decent selection, so he purchased 2 model rockets: Big Bertha & Starship Octavius. After finishing assembly, the kids decided they wanted to choose different paint colors for their rockets as well as pick out their next project (building model cars). Needing to go to Mishawaka, we went to Hobby Lobby (HL) this time. Of course their selection is massive, and there were a lot of things hubby saw there that he also saw at MCH. His excitement quickly turned into frustration when he realized that a lot of the same products he had purchased at MCH were almost double that the price of HL. He paid $16 for a rocket (Starship Octavius) at MCH & the same one was at HL for $9.99. He found this to be the case with most every aspect of the project. Talk about disappointing! He vowed to only do his hobby affairs with HL moving forward. Very sad, because we always want to support small businesses.. but gouging the prices in such a way is what makes folks turn their backs on these small mom & pop shops, and steer more towards the big box stores.
