My first visit to the new location! I wanted to buy multiple figures. Lego figures are those tiny things that you can place in an area for a smile. I picked up a Cruella Disney figure. She's wearing red gloves and has a tiny dal by her side. My oldest loves Disney's Oswald and I picked one of those too. I wanted SO many!! Several sets are for sale that are built, which is what I like. I have zero patience to build them. However, if that's your thing they have unopened sets as well as individual pieces you can purchase. Build your own mini fig is a popular choice. Gift cards available. If you love LEGOs, this is likely your happy place. My son and I happened to walk by when going to another shop in this strip, and when he saw all the minifigs in the window, we had to go in. And oh my, all the fun LEGOs! Bricks & Minifigs has several sets for purchase, which seemed about the same price as you would find on Amazon. You can also create your own minifig, buy any number of branded minifigs and find any random bit of LEGO you might be missing from a kit. We also liked seeing the great kits and builds put together around the store. A giant Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet all in LEGOs? Why not! My son is just starting to be interested in LEGOs, and I hope his interest in it grows. Bricks & Minifigs will definitely help with that. read more

Yeah, I realize that I'm a bit too old to collect and play with Legos. I do. I build stuff in my free time and make cartoons using the mini figures. There are some neat do-it-yourself and home improvements you can do using Legos. This store is a great resource for finding the mini figure you're looking for or the missing piece to an old set that you've had for years. Most of the time the staff is helpful and they're always knowledgeable. I've heard a lot about pricing from people but compared to other outlets for this kind of product they aren't out of line with anyone else, I also don't have to wait for a year and three days for it to arrive from China. read more

I Came in to find a Disney princess and pet's set for my niece and they had quite a few. They didn't have the exact one I was looking for but I found a similar one that I think she will be very happy with anyway! I personally was way more excited to see the Star Wars items. They have an unassembled Death Star!! I totally would buy that for myself, if I had the time and space to make that thing!! The staff were knowledgeable and very attentive. A Lego Lovers Dream! There are so many Lego creations to look at. You could spend an hour just looking at what is already built. I'm amazed and my favorite is the Taj Mahal. I took a seat and my son was off doing his own thing! You can buy the Lego building sets, loose Legos, and minifigs and parts. I'm not sure how the price compares to big stores but Legos are always an investment. They have a party room for birthday parties. I'm sure it would be a great time! read more

What a brilliant idea for a retail shop! Stopped by Simply Thai for lunch with a friend and saw this store so I had to go in, since both my boys love Legos so much. Awesome! You can bring in your Lego creations and trade them in for a new set (plus some cash I believe) buy sets of Legos like you would at any other store, except with a seriously sweet and huge selection. Or you can pack a small or large tub, small medium or large bag (and I mean LARGE bag) with as many loose Legos from the three Lego tables that have a huge assortment of Legos from all kinds of sets. I went for the über large bag for $60! I got sets of wheels and a ton of bricks and all the little Lego parts that get lost plus tons of the different parts that come with all the different sets you can buy off the shelf. Then I meandered over to the people tables where you can pick a head, torso with arms, legs, accessory and hair/hat/ helmet to assemble your own Lego people. 3 Lego people for $10. Since my boys like to mix and match anyway I just grabbed 6 complete sets so they would be able to create their own little Lego men. All of that and they have a good selection of Duplos and lego sets tailored for the more girly girls. They offer birthday parties, they have a stop motion classes for those interested in animation, and a bunch of other offerings. I kind of fell like I robbed the boys of part of the fun, but I'll just have to bring them back next time for the fun they'll have filling up a tub or bag. All in all probably a couple hundred dollars worth of fun that will last the boys a long time, at a very small fraction of the price! We will be back for parties and classes! read more

What a fun place for kids! Lego mania is in for 5 year olds!! The staff was very helpful for the Birthday party and the kids had a blast building a tall tower. The kids enjoyed building projects together for the party. The separate party room was big enough for 24 kids and about 20 adults! read more

This place is pretty cool! I mean, who doesn't love Legos?! My boyfriend and I went out to eat Havana Rumba and noticed this place as we were pulling into the parking lot. I remembered one of my friends talking about this place and how much she loved it (she loves collecting Lego figurines), so, of course, we had to stop in! The employee that was working was super helpful! He was able to provide a basic background on the business, and how they aren't technically a Lego store, but how they offer special collections of Legos (rare and classic), mini Lego figurines (huge for collectors, especially when they don't want to buy the whole set for one little lego) and being also able to sell your Lego collections. It was really cool to know there is a place like this in Louisville! The store has a lot to offer, and a lot of things to keep you entertained! It was cool playing around with the "build your own" Lego figurine, and if you like it, you can buy it for $5. They also offer birthday party packages here (I am pretty sure it's geared more towards younger kiddos, sorry older kiddos/adults), which I thought was super cool, especially if you do have a kiddo that is really into Legos. Overall, this place was just fun! The help was super knowledgeable about everything Legos and was able to answer any questions we have, and it is just a neat place to look around and purchase something! Super cool store. After a "girl's lunch out" at Havana Rumba, we wandered over to check this place out. Immediately, a group of 30 somethings with no kids in tow were entranced. Reasonable prices (compared to Lego retail in general, its still not cheap), tons of options from package sets to bulk buy, and a kids birthday party area that seemed to be a hit with the kids there at the time. After running my hands through the bulk bin and messing with the various bricks, I thought, hmm, hand sanitizer would be nice to remove the kid germs and lo and behold, there was a giant jar at the counter. With bricks in it for decoration of course. If you have $4000 to spare, there is an awesome LoTR wall sized Lego "print" The women in the group with husbands stated that to protect their finances, the husbands must never know about this store :-) read more

Very nice store. Many unique items to choose from. Clean, tidy and nice bathroom. They have a birthday party room and built legos on display. Pricing was a little high. For instance they had a Big Bang Theory lego set priced $80. This is available online around $50. The little mini figurines averaged 10$-15$. Overall, good experience. read more

We had my son's party there. They charge a minimum fee for up to 12 children. We only had 9 children. The party hostess was very strict with the kids; No food or drink while playing with legos, when they were ready to go build their minifigs she shuffled them all back in the party room and made them line up to go to the tables, but it felt like they were monitoring us to make sure that the adults were not also building with their legos. Overall the kids had a great time and my son wants to go back for more minifigs. read more

OK, this store is AWESOME. You guys are so lucky there in KY to have a store that buys and sells used Legos at FAIR prices. We were in town a few weeks ago for the Ironman competition from California, and to visit with KY family we hadn't seen in years, and had to stop in. (We found out about it ahead of our trip, and my 12yr old son was super stoked to check it out. He said that a store like this - "is something he's dreamed of." Mind you, we live 5 miles from Legoland!) The concept of this franchise store is brilliant for Lego lovers. It is conveniently located, clean, neat AND friendly. The owner was super informative and friendly. He knows his stuff. We spent hours in the store one day and both he and his employee never made us feel we had over- stayed our welcome. We traded in a bunch of Lego mini figs for a bunch of new ones. Btw, trip advisor rates the Mega Cavern as the #1 Louisville attraction. It was fun, agreed, but to a Lego fan, a stop at Bricks & Minifigs might be big competition. read more

This place is amazing. I have a son with Autism and he loses pieces all the time. It has become our weekend bonding time to visit the store. The staff are so helpful in finding Lego pieces he needs to complete the sets he is working on. They have always shown my son respect and really go above and beyond to help.
