I called to speak to someone before I went to this store because it was 30 minutes out of my way. I've sold to other B&M and had a great experience (Austin location). One of the staff was very nice, however, the staff member that gave me my offer was incredibly rude, and gave me an insulting offer ($50) for tons of retired LEGO sets (most are Friends, but I called prior and asked if they aren't buying any specific sets and they said "no.") He also made another rude comment that our Minifigs were "scratched up," but they aren't. I walked out and will take our business elsewhere. read more

Okay, I'm not gonna lie. There was a guy that was being very rude to my friend, like my friend was just asking a question, about you got any Lego knights and he immediately said no, what we got on the shelves is what we got, but the way he said it was so rude. Then when I got three lego minifigures and of course two capes. I was expecting to at least pay 19 or 20 bucks but it went from that to $25 in which I was really surprised. And to think it was our first time going to this Lego store we usually go on the Alamo Ranch one but we wanted to try out a new one but yeah, I recommend just going to the Alamo Ranch. Would not recommend this place to sell your legos, I brought over 10 pounds of legos 2 of those pounds being minifigures which had really rare figures. I drove 40 mins to this place and they took 3 mins to look at my items to tell me they can give me 125 cash or 150 store credit... girl what?? I not only saved so much money to get those sets when I was younger but also hours building them. I didn't want to part ways with my lego collection because they hold memories for me but I needed the money and for them to offer me 125 was such a slap in the face man. I went to Krystal's Brick shop in rolling oaks mall and I got way more than brick n minifigs offered (and they have better prices there) bricks n minifigs is a cool store don't get me wrong but do better with sellers. read more

There is a place where the Legos flow like wine and Captain Jack Sparrow can dance with Princess Leia in the pale moonlight. I never realized how many Lego Star Wars, Disney, DC and Marvel figurines there really are, but this place seems to have them all. For $7.99 you can fill up a small container with whatever pieces you desire from the Lego fill up station or go to the medium size for $16.99. Maybe that's not enough. You can go even bigger and leave with a large bag for 34.99 and have a Lego party. They also sell individual characters ranging from low to $30 for the more rare characters. They have a most impressive section of Star Wars sets and my favorite item on display was the Death Star from Return of the Jedi. Coming up for second place on esthetically pleasing would have to be the huge pirate ship and the Joker coaster looked like a fun build. We were greeted on arrival and asked if we needed any help finding anything in particular. We let him know we were just checking out Star Wars goodies and the like and he left us to our browsing as I like it. This is a great store to get lost in, and I will soon return. read more

My sons & I are huge fans of the other Bricks & Minifigs location, and it's great there's one on Bulverde now! This new location is a little bigger and has a LOT of great Lego sets and bulk parts to build from. Just like the other store the staff is friendly and everything is clean and organized well (considering the chaos of digging through tables of random Lego parts). This is still the best value in all of Lego-dom, you could pay twice what the stuff you build would cost in an official kit & by building it yourself you get to customize everything. They've got tons of figures for sale, or pre-built trade in sets for cheap if you don't want to design and build your own. You can't walk in and not feel like a kid again! Lego paradise! Staff really LIVE Lego! Everything IS awesome! In addition to the store being wonderfully organized, the staff is amazingly knowledgable about everything Lego and SUPER friendly! Yes...I DO have more stupid questions...! Lego parties are very affordable here. About the price you'd pay for plates and decorations anyway, and everything but the food is included! Different price ranges depending on the age of guests, and how much they're going to take home with them. Schedule way in advance, and send "scree the date", because rooms are limited and popular dates fill up quickly. A great place to bring your kids or your grandkids to spend a couple of creative hours and not have a mess to clean up after! For a few dollars, fill a bag with Legos to take home from their 4 generous tables full of loose parts. I go to Bricks & Minifigs to paw through their "bulk" lego. Often I am looking for small pieces that migrate to the bottom. They have several tables of Legos to look through, and sometimes some extra totes as well. I nearly always find more than what I came looking for, and have to up size what I buy. The staff can help you find pieces and are friendly & polite. I thought they had great jobs with happy kids, but then I heard 2 young kids continually and simultaneously just harangue one of the staff members behind the counter about minifigs. Bring this one out, now bring that one out, what if I change heads? Where did you get them? I can't buy this because my mom won't let me...and so on and on. I would have been thinking about shooing them back to their parents (who were off elsewhere in the store) instead of babysitting them like that, but the staff member was as patient & kind to the first question as he was to the 57th.
