These stores are not open on Sundays, something to note if you want to get materials for a project due the following Monday. They have a wide range of art and crafting materials as well as decorations and smaller furniture for the home. They have frequent sales on particular items. The materials are displayed in a crowded manner, making it hard for multiple carts to be in one lane at a time plus the way some items are displayed is not intuitive. An example is they had feather boas in several different aisles instead of having them in one spot. Overall the store has a lot to offer but the layout is a bit cramped and the displays can be chaotic for some items. read more

I spend way too much time and money here! Lol this location is dangerously yet conveniently located near my home! They always have great deals and markdowns that alternate every other week or so! They have everything from arts and crafts to decor, framing (custom) and a plethora of other frames. Home decor, and seasonal decor. I literally spend hours here! 5:00 today- just walked out of HL. WARNING this is a CRAP review... because I DETEST THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!! There were 6... 6-wish I had my camera out.. employees clustered at end of registers... were any open? Not sure!!! They all just looked at me & my basket & KEPT TALKING!!! I found ONE HELPFUL AND KIND EMPLOYEE (older than the teens just ignoring customers) named Angeles. Very sweet. Assisted me- and the stars are for her service. Then, the "Asst Mgr CYNTHIA showed up (not to assist anyone ) but to let Angeles in break, closing her register.... ONE guy came over to reg 2 to "help a customer"... "Assistant Mgr Cynthia" was doing her usual NOTHING to help customers... and a sour face/glare. (which is always the case when I visit this location!) I think this place doesn't care very much about their reviews. They are low enough and the should do something about it. They miss charged me an item and not only they treated my like if I was lying and they proceeded to tell me that they needed to check the cameras to see if it was true that I bought 2 same items (that was the young male manager) , but one item was cheaper than the other, even that they were the same, but they did NOT respect the rule where they need to charge you for the cheapest, and you need to wait some time because they don't work with SKU numbers. I have come to this store for years and I won't be coming back. read more

Update; after writing my recent review, i had to go to HL to pick up some hobby paints. Before i comment on that, i just want to mention that i go out of my way to give my money to brick and mortar stores...FIRST. I detest amazon but sometimes, you just dont have a choice. HL....wake up! Its a new era and you're still operating in the past! I went to buy hobby paints only to see you have them locked away so you cant buy them. Because a few bad apples steal your paints, you make your buying customers suffer and ultimately leave and buy elsewhere. I dont get it. Hard to believe that these companies dont look for a solution that isnt a hassle for the customer. I cant shop where i cant buy. read more

Only had 2 registers open. One was returns and exchanges only. About 7 people waiting in each line and the cashiers are slooowwww. There was a woman organizing the racks by the registers without a care in the world that customers were waiting in line. I asked, "would you guys be able to open up another register?" She checked her watch and replied "My next one doesn't come in until 11am so there are only 2 right now," and went back to stocking shelves. Saying "My" implies that she has some sort of authority, maybe a manager who would also have the skills to work a register. I guess stocking shelves are more important than helping customers? Isn't there also some sort of rule or policy in the retail world that once you have a certain amount of people waiting in line, you open up more registers...why? CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would understand if she was truly short staffed but she and multiple other employees who all had iPads with them and looked perfectly capable of working a register were stocking shelves instead. read more

Hobby store galore! I live nearby so there are many trips in and out of this store on my part. I love the parking - since it's at the end of the strip center, I always find a spot up front! I also appreciate the timing with which they put out décor/holiday supplies... since I'm always working a holiday or two ahead of the calendar, it is wonderful to be able to go into the store and find supplies for this years projects. I would like to see a wider variety of materials for the DIY type project instead of already created ones. For the most part, they have a little bit of everything so you can find something close to what you're looking for if they don't carry your brand, etc. Not so great: I am always standing in a line to check out ~ no matter the day or time I am in the store. The staff is courteous and the store is clean so if you need a place to stop, this will do! Happy Crafting! read more

I enjoy crafting on special occasions. Whether it be a holiday ornament, birthday invitation or any other craft I want to give a shot, I like to find all my tidbits here. From beads to fabric to florals to greenery to paper, you're sure to find what you are looking for. On this particular visit I was on the hunt for beads, charms and supplies to create my daughters birth announcement sun catchers. I luckily walked in during the perfect time being that certain brands were buy one, get one free. Yay! I was able to load up with not only my beads but with all the clasps and hooks that I needed. I happily headed to checkout only to find one register open, and maybe 6 people deep. Ugh! On a good note, I was ahead of 5 others (lol) but line moved fairly quickly. That being my only issue, I urge them to use more registers but I anticipate my next craft trip here! read more

Hobby Lobby has great products but the customer service is awful. They have employees down every aisle stocking but will look at you like you are crazy if you have a question. I recently lost my twin sister and took two of her service cards to be framed, and Gianna made the custom framing order as smooth as possible. She picked colors out to compliment her service cards, went through countless frames with me back and forth, and when it came time to leave everything she saw my hesitation to leave her service cards and said it was ok and I could come back with them when it was time. I trusted her and left her cards with her and couldn't be more comfortable with my decision. read more

Absolutely love this store!!! I recently got into a lot of diy projects around the house and was able to find most if not all of the items I needed at hobby lobby!! I really like what Hobby Lobby sells but with today's visit as always they only a few registers open and the lines were to the middle isle. The manager was standing to the side talking on the phone when he could have hopped on a register and helped out. Went to this store one evening and saw a cute planter but it had no price on it, so I asked one of the store associates who was in that aisle arranging items and she said I don't know, look over there (another area)...I looked at the whole store and never found the price of the planter. Also, yesterday we called and asked if they had an item in stock, we were placed on hold and they returned with a "Yes we have it in stock", then I asked how many come in a bag...She said 12. My husband drove over to the store and other associates assisted him in looking for the item but it was Not in stock, never located and they told him they have not carried it in that store. =0( So 1 star for the good service, 0 stars for the bad service, 5 stars for store location, 4 stars = 2.5 stars overall read more

Went to Hobby Lobby looking for greenery. Saw a sign that stated that all flowers and greenery were 50% off. I found some greenery and also picked up some flower sticks. When I got to the register, prices rang up at regular price. I said all should be half off. One of the sales personnel told me it was only for flower arrangements - not for greenery or flower sticks. I told her of the sign. She and I went back and she saw the sign, said "oh this was last week, not this week. I will honor one of the greenery plants because of the sign but not the others". Wrong! All greenery and floral should have been honored based on the signage. It was not. I told her they needed to check all of their signage and remove them if the advertisements were false or not current. I left with no items. read more

I've been in this H.L. many times, & I've never met a rude employee. Yes, long lines. But they do the best they can, NEVER rude to me. Because I live a good distance from the store, I've called twice this week to see if they had certain sale items left. BOTH young ladies checked the isle for me.
