Great bar and restaurant, the staff is always friendly and the food is delicious! On the weekends they always have good entertainment out on the deck, which is my favorite place to sit. I have eaten here 2 times and both were nothing to call home about. The first time I had the quesadilla which was so oily I could barely hold it. This time I ordered a Cajun chicken caesar salad which was some greens and a few pieces of chicken for $12. Upon my visit in Bridgeport, WV locals suggested Brickside Bar & Grille. A band was supposed to be playing at 8 pm but at 8:30 had still failed to perform. My group had asked for our check and was still charged a cover fee. Melissa G our waitress not only caused a scene but berated my group and I and told us to not come back again. All for asking for a fee to be removed for a service that was not provided. Neither I nor my local friends will be back again, not for sub par food and awful customer service. read more

It's truly a bar first then a grill. Lots of 20-30 yr olds having a good time. Plenty of tv's to watch the games. A special every night makes sense too. The food offerings are pretty good. Appetizers, salads, hot and cold sanwiches, pizza, and a New York strip which I'm too shy to try. Tried the pork Sandwich and the sausage pizza which were both good. Not the greatest but good. The staff was super nice, not the fastest but also just covering so many tables at once. We got a bunch of different wing flavors and the Buffalo chicken wing dip pizza and both were so good. Been driving all day from Ga to Pittsburg for work stopped so I could walk from Hotel thought maybe get some good finger food...., nice lady bartender quick with drink and a menu... ordered shrimp dinner 12.00 ... onion rings as a side... small house salad also.. salad out quick was fresh just needed more dressing... onion rings sad greasy limp must be frozen.. 6 shrimp ! Really .. same way ton of breading greasy tiny shrimp I am not impressed at all could get this out of the freezer and microwave in my room.. I see regular customers not eating lol read more

We were staying in Clarksburg for the night and had driven about 10-11 hours that day and we were starving and dreaming of some good pizza & wings. This place was across the street from our hotel and where we live you generally can't go wrong with pizza from a local restaurant it's at least decent. That was a huge mistake should have checked the reviews first! This place may be ok for drinks (the bar & patio area were packed when we picked up our food) but this was hands down the worst pizza I've ever had. Keep in mind i was starving and ready to crush half a pizza. We drove through a monsoon for an hour shortly before we got there and all I was thinking about was some great local pizza. I almost vomited when i opened the box it was a half cooked frozen pizza and it had a very off putting smell. I took two bites and the cheese was half cooked, it was basically cardboard with expired sauce and half cooked cheese and the smell was so bad we just wanted it out of the room ASAP so we packed it up walked to the hotel parking lot and put the entire pizza in the outdoor garbage. If you took the worst store bought frozen pizza stored it in a hot vehicle for 10 years and cooked it in a lukewarm oven...that's what this pizza reminded me of. We ordered some garden salads as well. Those were pretty gross with iceberg that looked like it was the sell by date...but it was at least edible. The only thing that qualified as ok was the fries. So anyways, if you are traveling through Clarksburg and looking for some food I 100% do not recommend you go here unless you want to experience some of the worst food of your life. read more

It took 50 minutes to get our food, and it was cold when we got it. Someone complained about the service and our waitress came over to ask us if we were the people who complained which was odd and inappropriate. One of the owners came over and asked if the food was fine and a person at the table said "everything's fine. Our food is pretty cold though" to which he responded "well, is it still edible." The cold food was fine, but the cold customer service was hardly appropriate. Didn't feel welcome and will not recommend. read more

The spinach artichoke dip is just totinos from a jar heated up with a lukewarm glob of cheese on top , inedible for sure .. The wings ? They're like chicken jerky , hardly any sauce , or meat .. Overlooked , dry the bones are showing through .. The drinks were awful, everything smelled and tasted like a hair salon, and the service was very poor.

Noisy bar. Usually has a band or other live entertaining going on. Always crowded and has great wings....love the "gold rush" made by them. Don't go here for gourmet; this is beer and wings night straight up! Service needs to be better....I would give better rating if they had better service! This was our first time visiting, and while the staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was pretty bad. 2 colleagues had the ribs and shrimp, and ribs and chicken which were tough and cold. I had boneless wings. While they were hot, the breading was so heavy you could barely taste any of the over processed chicken. One colleague had a grilled chicken breast sandwich, which was very dry. Bottom line, stay away unless you are only wanting a cold beer. So dissatisfied. read more

I went with an old friend. When he ordered a classic drink they did not know how to prepare it. We knew this because the waitress asked what was in it. She could have at least made an effort and asked someone or googled the recipe. I ordered a Reuben which smelled like a porta potty. Very impressed with this sort of local mom and pop type establishment. I have the beaf brisket everytime as it is wonderful and tastes extremely fresh especially the au jus. The bar staff is friendly and they seem to get the local crowd in as well as out of town people who live in the area temporarily. Beers I tried were always cold and tasty. Variety in beers. When my husband and I went in, we were told to find a table. We sat down and the waitress gave us a menu. We order ice tea and was looking over the menu. The waitress checked on us and we still needed a few minutes. That was the last we saw of the waitress. The wait staff was in a drama discussion about what someone said to this person and what this person said to that person. Very annoying. Terrible food that gives you the runs. My friends and I finally quit ordering food. Thought maybe the cook was having an off night but eventually discovered crap is the usual. So maybe beer drinking then. Nope. Sat for twenty minutes and watched inattentive waitresses carry on conversations but not take any orders. For a good time, go somewhere else.
