Miss Fary hosted amazing birthday for our little guy today! It was a memorable time with family, perfect for a party of 10 children. Plenty of activities to do, not one child asked for a phone nor screen--everyone was engaged (even the adults had Lego kits to play with!) And I just briefly mentioned our birthday theme of "green monster" and I was floored at how Miss Fary and team ran with it and centered their activities around it! Miss Sophia even drew monsters by hand for the kids to paint. Every artistic detail of today's event was very thoughtful and our Brickspace team was so attentive to each kids' needs. I went here for my nephew's party and it's a wonderful place. It's clean, safe, organized and even adults can get their build on. Ms. Fary and her staff are eager to help and highly encouraging to their guests. They highlight builds from each child, gathering everybody's attention and praising the child. We had a birthday party there this weekend and it was just the most amazing experience. The kids were all entertained and I didn't have to do much managing. They even set up a little kid area with Duplos in case they weren't interested in the guided minecraft themed building. Ms. Fary and her staff at Brickspace are always so nice and accommodating! Earlier in the summer, my son wanted to come at Drop Off Play, but it was same day, so I called Ms. Fary and she said she will take him in. And for another week, I had scheduled camp just 3 days but at last minute was able to schedule the whole week, Ms. Fary was kind enough to give me the rate for the whole week. This week, I had to go to work earlier than scheduled on Friday, called Ms. Fary and she said OK for Lucas to come early to eat lunch with the campers before his scheduled camp time at 12. We celebrated our twin's 6th birthday here with a baseball theme lego party, and it was out of the park! Fary was awesome (x100)! She put together a really fun two-hour party that was also educational. The kids got to build 2D and 3D baseballs, share baseball facts, build a baseball diamond out of big Lego bricks, and create a marble maze with lego pieces. Fary even set up a table where parents could hang out and chat, or play with Legos while the kids were busy. Fary's teaching skills really came through - she kept the kids engaged and knew how to transition the kids from one activity to another without any hiccups. And for us parents, it was totally stress-free! We didn't need any decorations, and all the parents commended me for finding such an awesome place. I seriously can't recommend this spot enough for parties (or anything)! We're excited to check out their other activities and programs. The space itself is so engaging and clean: a lot of fun activities for kids of various ages and even a space for parents to mingle. Fary is AMAZING: she constructed an entire two-hour party experience that was both fun and educational. We had our grandson's 10th Birthday party at Brickspace in Benicia. The kids had a blast! We had a total of 10 kids. From the time each child stepped into Brickspace Ms. Fary and her assistant Nick made sure they were involved in the Legos build project. Ms. Fary gave each child an opportunity to explain what they built. There was also a project the kids participated in together. They all really enjoyed the party. This was the best party he has ever had. Such a change from the arcade and trampoline parties. It was a relaxing time for the kids and the parents. Fantastic STEAM Program for Young Learners! Ms. Nanette is a Gem! My four-year-old son attended the STEAM Learning for Young Learners program at Brickspace for about five months, going twice a week (Mondays for "Young Builders" and Fridays for "Curious Kids Love Science"), and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the experience! The heart of this program for us was undoubtedly Ms. Nanette. She is an incredibly kind, sweet, and encouraging teacher who has a special connection with each of her students. It was evident that she spends quality one-on-one time with the students, fostering individual relationships and making them all feel equally valued. My son adored her and would give her big hugs every day at pickup--a true testament to how comfortable and happy he felt. I was consistently impressed by the creative and engaging activities Ms. Nanette planned. They were perfectly designed to stimulate their young minds and develop fine motor skills. From "Chinese Paper Making" and "Earthworm Science" to "Building a Leprechaun Trap" and various LEGO building challenges, my son was always excited about what he did and learned. I also really appreciated the verbal summary Ms. Nanette provided to parents at the end of each session, detailing their activities. The program itself is wonderfully structured, focusing on learning through play and hands-on activities that cover academics, STEAM projects (such as LEGO building and science experiments), the arts, and more. My child not only had a blast but also developed new skills and made friends. While this specific program is transitioning to a summer camp format now, we are so grateful for the excellent foundation and positive experience our son had over the past few months. My 8 year old loved this place. They have different locations, time slots, themes and it's a STEAM based camp. My son chose an around the world theme that had a focus on food and animals. Space was clean and welcoming. My son has a lot of anxiety when it comes to new places at he felt at ease right off the bat. I booked months ago for summer, I picked different camps based on my son's interests and where I thought his ADHD would benefit. He has a ton of energy and if he isnt being kept busy mentally it starts showing by him fidgeting and moving a lot. The camp incorporated education on different countries, making traditional foods from that country as a snack, art with themes from the country and building with the legos. The First day they made fried rice, next day Bruschetta and so on. He was so happy upon pick up every day, wanted to tell me everything he learned, show me his art, he said it was one of his top camps and he has done 5 camps this year. Staff was fantastic and he really enjoyed how pleasant and engaging they were My only issue is that the online website can be confusing to navigate, communication vie receipts and confirmation is sometimes partial, having to look one place for an address, another place for time, two of their locations are so close that confusing which one is easy. With a busy life the extra work of trying to find info can be a little bothersome. read more

She had several activities set up for the kids to do that fit the theme and they all had so much fun. Although we miss our in person Brickspace classes, Fary and her staff have really met the challenge of online/zoom STEAM learning! My boys ages 7 and 5 both love their classes. During "distance learning" it's nice to know that our children have an opportunity to continue their science and STEAM learning with educators with a kind and knowledgeable approach. This is an important part of our school day at home and takes some pressure off me as a full time working parent to provide this. I've used BrickSpace for drop-in daytime play/care, "date night" late hour care and recently threw my 4 year old son's birthday party here using their birthday package. The facility and staff are AWESOME all around!! For the birthday party...I threw the owner a curve ball when I asked her to create a "Fishing" themed party (which they had never done before) for ten boys & girls, ages 3-10 years old. Not an easy task! However, she and the staff nailed it! The activities managed to not just include, but engage ALL of them for the full 2-hour session. In addition to free-building Lego play, there were prepared educational sit-downs (all about fishing, tackle, bait, fish, etc.), team-building projects, creative & scientific activities, and more! Another plus is that the parties are 100% staffed and facilitated. We opt'd to skip the birthday cake 'at' BrickSpace and let the kids play for the full two hours. This allowed us parents to hang out and enjoy a much-needed catch-up session over a couple beers down the block at Rookies Sports Bar. As the session came to an end, we collected the kids and headed up the street to Pizza Pirate for some hometown pizza & birthday cake in their private room (which they do NOT charge for, by the way!) Plus, the restaurant manager, Joe, extended an awesome 15% total bill discount (something he offers for all BrickSpace parties). Winter month birthdays are always a challenge...but both these local venues provided the perfect solution for our needs. My daughter was apart of an event on 3/11. As we waited in line for registration. Seemingly nice lady came to greet the children. She greeted a girl apart of our group but skipped over the only two African American children in line and hugged two Caucasian children behind us. Of course I noticed this because this behavior is very common and saddens me. My daughter did enjoy herself and the rest of the group as well but I cant stand for that. I left happy that my daughter learned more about STEM but first impressions are so important. read more

We love Brickspace! We are a Lego loving family and this place is a dream come true-- a great space to play and experiement and learn. We've had my son's 6th and 7th birthday parties at Brickspace and both times felt it was money very well spent! ALL The kids had a great time, the party is very well organized and personalized. Each child has his own chance to build as well as take home a small lego kit as well! (No goodie bags for me to worry about!) :-) Fary was great at coming up with a party for any theme my son would pick too! We did Star Wars jedi training academy last yaer, and then Transformers this year. Aside from the birthdays, we love to bring both my sons (ages 3 and 6) for some drop off play when they are open for free-play time. The boys love being there, the place is nut-free (BONUS) and I can go enjoy downtown benicia for an hour or two with a friend. We attended a birthday party at Brickspace at the First Street location a few months ago and my son loved it! He wouldn't stop talking about how much fun he had there, so we decided to throw his 4th birthday party there too. He specifically asked for a Lego Super Hero party, so Brickspace was the perfect location! Fary is awesome! She was easy to work with from beginning to end. She suggested to have our party at the Tyler Street location based on the amount of guests we planned to invite. I've never been there, so she sent me pictures of the place. The pictures she sent looked great, so I confirmed the Tyler Street location. When we got there on the day of my son's party, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were bigger than I expected! There is a separate room with plenty of tables to use to setup food, a cake table, and for guests to sit down. Had I known it was that big, I would've made more decorations to hang on the walls. The staff was very patient and did a fantastic job facilitating the activities for the kids. My son had a blast and did not want to leave! He is already talking about having another super hero party there. If your child loves Legos or building, this is the place to go. I really can't say enough good things about Fary and Brickspace. We just had our son's 2nd birthday here and all the kids/parents had a great time! The kids were engaged, excited, and most importantly for us parents, all tuckered out afterwards- our little dude took a 3 hour nap as soon as we got home! She had a blast, Fary is so good with the kids, and it was all organized in little painting kits for the kids so they all had everything they needed. Fary dropped the kits off at my house a week or so before the party then I took them to the kids houses with a cupcake. The kids all had cupcakes together after painting. I'm a first grade teacher in Vallejo. I took my students along with 2 other first grade classes from my school on a field trip to Brickspace in May of 2018. It was absolutely fabulous!! Fary (the owner) and her two assistants were amazing. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and they knew how to allow the children to explore, while at the same time guide them toward the goal. My students had a great time and continued to talk about it for weeks to follow. I'm sure if anyone asked them about their experience in the next several years, they would have great things to say about it.
