We utilized Bricktown Bike Bar for a bachelorette party recently and it was AWESOME. It seems a little pricey, but split between a big group it's affordable and FUN! Joe was our guide and was an absolute blast to party with. It's a bit of a workout, so I definitely recommend wearing pants or bike shorts and close-toed shoes, but it's sweet. We blew kisses to old men, waved to people in cars, and tried to get as many honks as possible. Best time EVER! Dooooo it!

Thank you for your response Brian. By taking a message during business hours on 1/27 instead of confirming my reservation and by Leslie not returning the call until 1/28 you conveniently added your $200 rush fee for the "crisis." I guess it benefits your business to create crises..

You know how key it is that you get along well with everyone, that you don't feel annoying when you ask your fifty-fifth question or sending your thirty-fourth email. And then, you know the wash of relief you feel when they ask you questions only they would think to ask.... "Hey there, I know you mentioned carafes for water, but they weren't on your list, do you still need those..." These are the types of people for whom it would seem their sole purpose in life is to make hostesses around town just look really good. And that they do. But not just for the pros (or semi-pros, as I consider myself)... Anyone can look like a planning whiz with the help of Brian, Robert, Christina, and Kelsey at 110 Events and Rentals. There are other awesome peeps there, but these are the ones I know. Planning a wedding? A class reunion? An anniversary party for your folks? Helping your favorite non-profit plan a fundraiser? You can benefit not only from their experience and expertise, but also from their big ol' brain, full of cool ideas. That big bank of ideas is backed up by a huge, amazing warehouse full of treasures! Western party? Check. But you'd expect that in Oklahoma. Just keep walking. Disco party, astronaut party? Aliens, wild animals? Dorothy, Alice in Wonderland. Time travel, Victorian, tons of rustic chic. 80s. Loads of midcentury. Lots of cool props that actually work. In short, I left there with enough Yelper party ideas to keep me in this gig until I'm 70. Seriously though: amazing props and features. Beautiful linens and all manner of lovely tabletop and glassware. Centerpieces and lighting of your dreams. But none of that would matter, if it weren't for the people who work there. They are so lovely and fun to get to work with! I highly recommend!

It was the perfect culmination of passion and opportunity. In 1985, a young, teenage Robin Alvis was rocking in the band, Ibex, performing by night and storing the band's show equipment in his parents' garage by day. Recognizing a business opportunity, Robin also rented out the band's staging and lighting during down time - thus, Toucan Productions was born. As the years rolled on, Robin acquired more equipment, and in turn, began focusing more on putting on killer shows for others and less on his own. Misty Myers joined Toucan in 1991, just as the new decade was taking root. Her entrance into the business was marked with growth. Toucan moved into a more legitimate warehouse space and also added several more full-time team members. Their small business was beginning to explode, so in 2008, Toucan purchased a 50,000 square-foot warehouse near downtown OKC. With 25 full-time employees, a massive inventory, and over 1,000 annual bookings, they are now the largest provider of lighting, staging and sound in Oklahoma and one of the largest in the Southwest.

The forecast for Thursday is not good so we thought it was either karaoke or do it yourself belly dancing lessons for everyone. Thank goodness we found this place! The cost for one day with a 10% military discount and all taxes was $145 and there are literally thousands of songs and the machine has separate speakers included and plays lyrics for you. We are mixing up margaritas so this should be rather interesting for our 7 guests! I'll update the review once the day happens and I get to sing my karaoke favorite "LIKE A VIRGIN" by Madonna. (For some reason it always sounds better in the shower) GO FIGURE! Just returned the equipment and it rocked!! Everything worked as promised and it sounded great! Nice and loud, lyrics on the screen, big big speaker pushing some tunes! The equipment is labeled very very well and completely set up in less than ten minutes ready to go. Over 10,000 songs ready and waiting. Yes you can buy a much smaller light weight system at other places to keep forever but the catch is, you won't have 10k songs to pick from, you'll get maybe ten or twenty then you've got to buy the rest! Good luck with that! We had a ball on Thanks Giving as it was a rainy, icy, miserable weather day and with family and Freinds over, we had ten people in the house and needed something to do! Great value, all professional equipment, great song selection, two microphones for duets!! I NEVER EVEN REALIZED I SOUND EXACTLY LIKE JASON ALDEAN!! Ha ha ha ha.
