Dr.Weisfeld was amazing. Needed to have large filling replaced and a crown made. I am so afraid of needles I sometimes get sick. I told Dr Weisfeld this and he reassured me that it would be ok. He put some topical solution on my gum and then slowly put a tiny bit of novicane in. I didn't feel anything. In total I got 3 needles, I think, because I didn't feel any of them! This is the first time Dr Weisfeld had worked on me. I usually see Dr Mench, but he wasn't available. Dr. Weisfeld is so gentle and through. He had so much patience with me when trying to get a good tooth impression. It took 3 trys to get it right because I kept biting down at the wrong time! I would haven given up on me. Kristen, my hygienist, spends more time and care cleaning my teeth than any dental professional ever did. My teeth are easier to keep clean now that I have a great team caring for my dental needs. She now has me scheduled 4 times a year for cleaning which has made a huge difference. Also Dr Burdette takes a lot of time explaining the direction he feels is necessary to bring my teeth to their most healthiest level. I have full confidence in his decisions. He recently completed an implant procedure which is the most amazing change to the look and feel of my smile. Dr. Pham is excellent; quick, efficient, courteous and cares about his patients. Personally, he's one of, if not the best dentist I have ever gone to. The receptionists in the office are wonderful, very helpful and so sweet. However, I cannot say the same about one of the dental hygienists, Jaci. The few times that my boyfriend and I have gone to Brickworks for cleanings and fillings, she has been very rude. She lectured him for a half hour about how to floss. And after another half hour of her just scraping and picking at his teeth, she barely took two minutes to clean them. We will definitely be requesting a different hygienist in the future. But overall, Brickworks is great. I definitely recommend Dr. Pham. read more

When I walk into the office I am immediately greeted like an old friend by the efficient staff. They always smile and greet me by name. The wait is annoyingly SHORT (I never get to finish the magazine article I am reading).The Dental Assistants are also friendly and very reassuring to a coward like me. Dr. Mensh walks in and makes me feel completely at ease. He always explains what he intends to do and even asks for my input! He is by far the BEST dentist that I have ever seen in my 66 years (and I have seen a lot). Let's face it...no one likes going to the Dentist. I am new to this team of excellent professionals. Having come from up north, going back and forth to the dentist for 35 years, when my dentist sold his practice, I really was in a fix. How glad am I that this team was recommended to me. Upon my initial first evaluation and recommendations I was numb at the costs as I have no dental insurance anymore. My company had dropped all retirees rather suddenly. However Linda worked with me to find appropriate insurance coverage that will enable me to start my work. They could not have been nicer. My 2 sons and I have been patients at Brickworks since we moved to MaysLanding 10 years ago. The dentists, Drs. Mensch & Pham, assistants, hygienists and office staff are nothing but professional and kind. They always explain exactly what they are doing and how to take good care of your teeth. My younger son is also a patient of the orthodontist, Dr. DeFelice as well. His treatment has has had outstanding results. The office is clean, beautiful and welcoming. Dr. Mensh is the most professional, courteous, kind , respectful , efficient dentist i have ever had. The place is clean, the staff is efficient and for the most part everyone is always happy while working and very helpful. A question for the people that were told about the many cavities and it was not true ( i have heard this before from a friend and it was concerning, which btw it was not D. Mensh :-) ). Were you shown the x rays ? if you weren't you should have requested a copy and maybe consult with another dentist about it. overall i would recommend this place , at least with Dr. Mensh as your dentist. read more

Today's cleaning went very well. My dental hygienist was professional and performed with the skill of a dentist, steady hand, and know how. I, like many, do not like getting my teeth cleaned, but after it's done I am always happy with how my teeth feel and confident that the technician was thorough. She had soft skills and a good work ethic. Positive attitude and pointed out problems/potential problems with good communication skills. After my cleaning the dentist did a good inspection and analysis of the current condition of my teeth and the future work that I need to have done. read more

Had a problem and stopped into office for help. Lynn immediately greeted me and asked what help I needed. She looked up my records and informed me what my options were and an estimate on cost for the various options then gave me an appointment to see Dr. Burdette the next day. Received a call that morning to see if I was available to come in earlier as Dr. was available. Arrived 10 minutes later and received excellent service from Dr. Burdette and his excellent nurse. I am a new patient to Brickworks Dental. Had my cleaning done by Jaci and exam by Dr. Pham. I loved the professionalism and care by the entire practice. everytime I go thorough your front door, people inside greet me as they miss me. The asst. comes out and calls my name like she missed me last time. Then when the doctor shows up (with his coffee in hand) he too greets me like a old friend just found. (The only problem here, he does not ask if I would like a cup.. LOL). Laura is my hygienist, and she has the gentlest hands I've ever experienced. Dr. Pham is so kind and patient, and truly listens to your concerns. As a new patient, I was greeted with a friendly staff and a clean environment. Dr. Pham and the staff definitely focus on patient comfort, which is surprising because it was a late afternoon appointment (at the end of my workday) and it felt like 10am. First visit and I love it already. Dr. Pham was fantastic. His dental assistant (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was also very friendly and accommodating. The office itself is AWESOME!!!
