Daughter having fun even in the princess dress. Thanks for the eye Black Chris

The Brickyard Cages are the best in San Diego. I have 3 kids, and they have all gone through programs at the Brickyard. My oldest took lessons from Chris, who could not have been more patient with him and helped him become an All-Star for his Little League. My middle child started there when he could barely walk, visiting the cages and camps. He is now at Trosky National and is obsessed with baseball. My daughter originally had little interest in baseball, but loved going and hanging out because of how great everyone was to her. At 9, she began to enjoy softball and came home from camp at the brickyard fired up about softball. They not only help build swings, but they also help build character. Will forever be grateful that this place is in our community!

Not sure how much it was for the bucket of balls, since I was the last one of my group to have arrived. I wouldn't mind returning to practice my golf swing, practice makes perfect. My mind was just not in a focused state tonight, but I managed to have a few good swings!! The ONLY small suggestion I have for Stadium Golf Ctr. is to have your range targets be more lit from the back end of the targets so I can have a better view overall!! My group pointed out that I'm actually ambidextrous when it comes to how I hold my putter despite being left-handed. At least this golf center is more economical than "Top Golf" locations.

Starting from low pitch 35mph and work your speed up as you keep practicing. You only pay for the card and how many plays you'd like and they provide the equipment for free ( for batting only ). My son and I celebrated Mother's Day here with a putting practice session, including a bet to increase the enjoyment; it's something we both took pleasure in doing together. All crew were nice, friendly and helpful! Access to the range is easy, lots of parking spaces and the best part is, you can do both ( golf and batting ) activities in one location!

The 2nd time we went, no one was even there to help us, we had to wait and find someone to help us. Then when we left some guy sitting in his car talking to someone outside yelled at us asking if we paid. It was me, my husband, and 2 young boys. I told him we paid online then he said oh ok. He was just effing rude. Turns out I guess he's the owner. The next time I went I had booked online but received a text that they over booked and tried to reschedule us. This happened twice where their online system allegedly overbooked. After the constant horrible customer service I stopped going there. It's unfortunate because it's really close to my home. Now I drive all the way to Winn batting facility because it's SO worth it. Way better facilities and excellent customer service each and every time. Online booking never overbooks either.

As a young parent. My fondness memories is my son playing little league baseball. Seeing him learn…read morethe game and excelling in the sport was one of the highlights as a parent for my wife and I. Not only did my son learn life skills from playing baseball but I guess my wife and I did also. Like they say 'Baseball is life'. For my family it is. Now as a grandfather. I get to watch my six year old grandson play little league. It's like starting all over again. Like his dad, my grandson loves baseball. Just watching my grandson play takes me back twenty five years. Exciting times ahead. One of the fun and main things in baseball is hitting a ball with a bat. In youth sports and in softball. It's an aluminum bat. The only way to get good at hitting a ball is doing it. But not just doing it but doing it the right way. Foot positioning, hand placement, recognition of the type of pitch being thrown at you are just a few things a hitter needs to consider. Hitting is not easy. But where to go to learn? There are a few places in San Diego but not many. In the South Bay, even fewer. In Chula Vista, I found a spot that takes hitting a baseball serious. No matter what level you play. If you want to get better as a hitter. This is the place to start. Multiple hitting stations and batting cages. Specializing in youth sports; you can take a class with a small group or even one-on-one personal lessons. My first impressions were that it was a good place to cultivate positive results. The staff of two to three individuals managed a class plus set up the pitching machines. For my grandson, we had Valerie help us. Valerie was awesome. She explained very clearly how everything was structured from the pricing to how to operate the cages. Before you know it. My grandson was hitting in the battling cage. The batting cage my grandson was in clocked at 40 MPH. The lowest speed the pitching machine could throw. For a six year trying to learn the art of hitting. It was very challenging. He missed more than he hit but he was having fun and still enthusiastic. So much so he didn't want to leave. Which is a good sign. Support local businesses especially the good ones. Bombers in Chula Vista is awesome. Hit dingers here.

His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.
