I was discusted how this garage treated myself and my car. I explained how much money i had available to spend on my car, and got quoted by the garage owner the work needed would cost £100 at the most. I also explained if the work was more it would be cheaper for me to tow the car home. When i arrived two days later to collect my car i was seriously overcharged! I was disgusted how i set aside money for the repairs and on collection day had to pay £60 of unexpected charges. When i later looked at my reciept i had been charged for mud on the garage floor, the mechanic re-attached prop shaft which i explained i would re-attach myself on my arrival and take the car, my bonnet would not open, he has not replaced the cover for my starter motor and did not tell me (which is important for my usage for the car). And cherry on the cake, about 20 miles from the garage my car would not start, when i rang head mechanic 'chaz' he explained i could ring back in 20 minutes and he would come look at the car, an obvious lie as when i rang back 2 mintues later
he told me he could not come and look at the car today, therefore leaving me stranded on the A338. read more
