A Hidden Gem in Weymouth - Jane's Tailor Shop…read more I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jane's Tailor Shop, located at 300 Bridge Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with Jane's professionalism, skill, and kindness. I brought in my brand-new suit pants for adjustments to achieve a better fit--after the original tailor at the store where I purchased them couldn't get it right, even after two attempts over the course of three weeks. Frustrated and running out of time, I found Jane's shop online, read a few glowing reviews, and thought to myself, This might be the place. I'm so glad I followed my instincts. When I walked into the shop, Jane was working at her sewing machine. She immediately paused what she was doing to greet me and take a look at my pants. I explained my concerns and showed her a photo of how the pants looked on me. Without hesitation, she examined both the image and the pants themselves and immediately understood what needed to be done. To my surprise, Jane began working on the pants right away. She turned them inside out, carefully inspected the area of concern, and started removing the original stitching. After the first round of adjustments, I tried them on. There was a noticeable improvement, but Jane wasn't satisfied. She took the pants back and repeated the process--unstitching, re-sewing, and perfecting--not once, but three times within 20 minutes. After the third round, she said, "It looks good, but I want to fix one more small detail. Come back tomorrow at 4:00 and it'll be ready." When I returned the next day around 4:30, I tried the pants on again. My daughter, who came with me, immediately said they looked fantastic and that they were definitely a keeper. I completely agreed. Jane was simply phenomenal. Her level of care, her attention to detail, and her dedication to getting it right on the spot were beyond what I expected. She's calm, kind, and incredibly professional. And the price? Far more reasonable than I anticipated--especially considering the time, skill, and quick turnaround she provided. I highly recommend Jane's Tailor Shop at 300 Bridge Street in Weymouth. Jane may speak softly, but her work speaks volumes. I'll absolutely be returning in the future--and recommending her to everyone I know.

After he saw her wear the dress, he again mentioned that the dress was too tight even though she was able to successfully zip it up with no issues and started arguing with my gf that it's not his problem that the dress doesn't fit and he won't fix it again because he's losing money (I was taken aback here). I highly recommend anyone that's looking for a decent tailor to skip this place. Nam lacks any sort of customer service skills and seems to be a mess in terms of organization and keeping promises of when to pick up garments. I will NEVER come here again and if you read the other 1 star reviews on this page, you'll see the exact same issue with Nam. He uses cheap quality zippers and blames the customer for his issues.

There are two small changing areas curtained off from the rest of the store so you can try on whatever you need tailored. The spot is cash only, if I remember correctly, but they give you a quote and they let me pay at pick up. I brought in a pair of pants that I needed hemmed at the end of the work week, and they were ready by that Monday! Parking is street parking, but I did not have a problem finding a spot on that street. I would definitely recommend this place for all of your tailoring needs!

I knew they wouldn't go as far as to damage the fabric as they told me as such. When i went in today to pick up the pants I was told they got as much as they could without destroying the fabric. I asked if that meant they could not remove the stain. I was told no. I took the pants to the card & lo-and-behold, there is no teammate of the stain to the untrained eye.
