They came and gave me an estimate, and then they came to pick up my check for the deposit on Saturday. The owner said they would come to do the work on Tuesday or Wednesday. They never showed up, and I tried to contact the owner four times - once on his cell & three times through his office & he never returned my calls. So I put a stop on the check for the deposit. The following Monday he called me and wanted to know why he wasn't able to cash the check, and I said because he took my check, never gave me a receipt, and wouldn't return my calls. He claimed that he never got my messages and blamed it on the girl in the office. Even though I also left voicemail on his personal cell phone. I have no time to deal with people who don't know how to run a business properly. It only takes a minute to make a phone call to reach out to somebody and let them know the status of the job. If he called and explained that they were delayed and wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day, I would have understood. But to take a check from somebody for $1750 , not give them a receipt,and not return phone calls is very unprofessional.

Job was not completed, and John never even came by the job site in person? Don't know if he has any workers, out side of the sub contracted crew he sent to our home! Sean, a fellow that stopped by to pick up a check for John, confirmed the crew was sub contracted, as did two of the people working on the site! You can bypass the middle man, and stop by any roof job you see in your area with a pile of people working on it, and made your own deal, I'm sure for a lot less money!  Shame on you John, I trusted you..... And John never came back to correct the problems with the work that was performed! Like they say buyer beware! I do intend to contact the BBB........
