I took my dog into Bridgerland because she had a UTI. I told them what the problem was but they still had to do the test. I also told them that she had some rashes and a cough. They completely ignored that. So basically, I received 4 antibiotic pills for $200.00 dollars. I called to see if I could get a refill on the pills but they wanted to do the test again. No test, no pills. I'm sure for another $200.00 dollars I could get another 4 pills. I'd hate to see the bill if they actually did anything about the rashes or the cough. I will never take another pet of mine to this place again! read more

We took our cat there to get a spay. It ended up being a little under $400 and we didn't even get the saline IV flush ( $80 add on). We were pretty bummed at the end when we went to pick her up that there were no instructions given on how to care for her. She didn't come home in a cone, and we were not told any instructions on healing and after care! We ended up ordering a surgery suit and just having to research ourselves. We did not get any info about the surgery or what to expect. They just took her back and said they would call when it's over. Wish I got more info for such an expensive surgery! read more

This business is amazing!!! We were fostering a baby kitten that we had found and things had turned for the worst. I called in tears begging to be seen for emergency purposes and they got us in immediately. They took care of our little tiny kitten, they gave us comfort and reassurance that she was gonna be okay. The staff kept calling us days and weeks later to check in on the kitten. We will forever come here to take care of our animals. Such amazing staff and such amazing vets!!! read more

I think the world of this vet clinic. My dog became super ill one Saturday. A lot of vet clinics are open for a few hours on Saturday's but I called around to a few and no one would see him. Luckily I found this clinic who said to bring him in. They were closing soon but could see how sick my dog was and stayed for 3-4 hrs after close to run tests and hydrate him. I have no doubt he wouldn't have made it without their help. Dr. Gibson followed up with me throughout the night and over the following days. He responded promptly whenever I texted with a question. I love Bridgerland-Cache Animal Hospital. They are always there for you and your pet family. We have had a guinea pig get sick and though they were completely booked they took her in and attended to her in their lunch hour. We have had animals get sick late at night and the vets have come into the surgery to attend to them. The vets, tech's and office staff are very caring and professional. This place was originally run by Doc Gibson and located on Main Street. Now his grandson is one of the vets here and I'm the third generation in my family to do business with them. Several days ago, I had my youngest Shelty spayed there. I stayed with her throughout the procedure (pre-op, surgery and post-op/recovery). Every square inch of this place is spotlessly clean and the doctors and technicians clearly care about each of their patients. We have some very good veterinarians in our area. However, based on three generations of doing business with this place, I highly recommend you check it out the next time you need a reasonably priced vet who will truly care about your pet. read more

Bridgerland has been AMAZING. As a first time puppy owner, I have so appreciated Dr. Benson, the techs, and the front desk associates. Dr. Benson has been a life saver. She has given us so many tips that work, she's been so good with my puppy (even though he's kind of a wimp), and has been so fun to work with. When my puppy got neutered they called almost every day to check on him. They gave us more pain meds (he needed them) and were so nice to me during that emotional week. One of the WORST experiences in my life! I took my cats in for vaccines and left with a whole list of problems. They tried to get me to start treatments for things immediately in the office that day. No time to process and do research. It was a major sales tactic, and I just felt like a number. I left the office crying and lost many nights of sleep due to the worry they caused. Took my cat to another vet the next week and came out with a clean and healthy report. DO NOT use them if you want the truth for your pets. read more

I love this practice and highly recommend Dr Benson. We were traveling through town on a long road trip with our 9 month old puppy who became ill due to eating something that didn't agree with him. My husband took a feral cat there to be neutered. He was told the cost was $124, which he felt was high, but he wanted to get the procedure done and no other clinics had availability. Once the cat was sedated, it was discovered that he had previously been neutered, so no surgery was performed. They still charged $124! I can see paying for the sedation and office visit, but what justifies charging for a surgery that was not performed? Then they informed him that the cat had a fever and they recommended giving him an antibiotic, which they were going to charge for an additional fee. After that, he just wanted to get out of there. We will never go back to this place. I feel that we were taken advantage of. read more

My boyfriend took his dog here twice within one week. The second time his dog passed away within 3 hours after going to the vet. The dog had bloodwork and x-rays done, and was misdiagnosed that he was 'dehydrated'. Even after going back and asking for more information about why he could have died, the vets brushed it off and said they must have missed something. The very least they could have done for my boyfriend was give him a refund for the more than $600 spent just for his dog being misdiagnosed. read more

I have had the completely opposite experience at Bridgerland Vet. I have lived here two years and have taken my dog here for both vet visits and boarding. The boarding services are great, if your pet has an upcoming vaccination needed they will do it during the boarding. No need for an extra appointment. I have had great service and treatment from both the vet and vet tech. read more

We are new to the area, and had some crazy symptoms in our dog one night. I called their after hours line and the vet called us back right away, told us what to do for the night and helped us the next day. We ended up needing to do intestinal surgery and the price was very reasonable and they took very good care of our little guy. Everyone in the office is really nice and attentive. Do yourself and your pet a favor and don't come here. My dog was misdiagnosed and died within a few days. I took him in twice a span of three days. When I went to get some answers on symptoms that he had and why they weren't further explored they told me "it's just one of those tough ones" and "we must have missed something." My dog dog was dying in the vets office and they gave him some fluids and sent us home where he died a few hours later. I feel like not enough was done and they didn't care to do more. read more

This place is the worst vet clinic I've ever been to! I am new to the area, and adopted two kittens, one of which had/has tapeworms. Both kittens already had the first of 2 de-worming vaccinations when I got them, but I had to wait another 2 weeks for the 2nd of the series. Given tapeworms were coming out of my 16 week old kittens bum (which is completely gross), I wanted to find a solution to kill the tapeworms ASAP, rather than wait the two weeks.. When I called in, I tried to explain the dilemma to the receptionist and ask if I should bring in the worm infested kitten or just wait until the second vaccination. She seemed very confused like she didn't know what I was talking about ,so she told me to just come in anytime. I took the cat in the next day, and they got irritated because I hadn't made an appointment! Next, I talked to a tech who, in most vet offices know at least the basics of veterinary, but this one kept running out of the room to ask the vet (who was sitting at a desk in the back) all my simple questions. They FINALLY came to the conclusion to give me Strongid, a oral medication. I payed the 20 dollars for 14 cc of the stuff, and went home. After arriving home, on a hunch, I looked up the medication, and it doesn't even cure tapeworms!!! It's made for basically all other worms, except tapeworms. How would a vet not know that? If that wasn't enough,I called in again a few days later to see how much the second round of de-worming vaccinations would be, and to try to get an appointment to get both male cats neutered, they told me that PER CAT the vaccination would be $75, and neutering would be $90!!! That's NOT INCLUDING the $45 fee per cat, JUST TO BE SEEN! for both cats that would total $420! That is WAY too much for such simple and common things! After checking in with the Cache Humane society for some advice on where to take them (cuz honestly, who can afford a $420 non-emergency vet bill?) , I found out that they have a vet that comes in who will do the neutering for only $35 per cat, and the shots are $10 per cat! That's only $90 TOTAL. Based on everything, I don't know why anyone would go to this clinic! You pay them absurd amounts of money for bad service, to get the wrong medication (I got lucky they didn't give me something that would kill my poor little kitten), and then be sent home feeling like you were a burden on everyone in the office. Don't waste your time on them! read more

We were in town for and borded our very nervous Yorkie. They took great care of him and were very professional and clean.

Accidentally ran over our cat. Was still alive but seriously injured. Rushed her to Bridgerland Animal Hospital and received immediate care. Dr. Paul Sanders was so kind, compassionate and knowledgable. As parents, we were able to speak to him at length and in a private setting to discuss our options. He then explained the situation thoroughly to our children. We felt no pressure as we made the decision to treat or euthanize our cat. Our visit lasted past hours, but they didn't make us feel rushed and were very accommodating. A week later, after we decided to have them put our cat to sleep, Dr. Sanders wrote and mailed us a handwritten note expressing sympathy at the loss of our cat and referring to her by name. Very impressed, start to finish. Would highly recommend. read more

I haven't been to visit Dr. Benson, Dr. Sanders and the staff since we put my beloved Buddy to sleep Dec 7, 2015. The vets took care of Buddy from 2006 to his passing at age 16.
