They did x-rays (at least I think they did - I never actually saw the film), had an assistant give me a massage, and then the doctor did a brief adjustment that didn't feel very good. He also poked some needles in by back. I paid my co-pay, and left with roughly the same amount of pain as I had when I went in. A month or so later, I received a bill for almost $200. This was after insurance had made a payment to them for over $220. Really?!? If you're trying to do the math at home, I'll help you out - they billed over $400 for my visit. Seems a little steep, no? I'm not making any judgments on the "Doctor"s chiropractical prowess...I've only visited a couple of them over the years, and am far from an expert. However, I will advise you that if you visit this clinic, get real clear on what services they'll be performing, and what they'll be charging for them.

Beware of places calling themselves Wellness clinics and Diagnostic clinics. Look for the MD after their name, if you don't see that you aren't seeing a Doctor. You are seeing a chiropractor who was taught about the spine and nerves and is not capable of treating conditions an MD can treat. Chiropractors can do adjustments and some therapies involving your spine that can help but some of the claims of curing Autism etc are so bogus and unethical!

He had irregular shaping on his head and didn't seem to have strength in his upper torso. Cried when put on his tummy and couldn't lift his head well or use both hands while on his tummy. After adjustment of his palate, the skull, and various places in his neck and torso, he was able to nurse for the first time with no fussing, thrashing, or latching issues. Within one day he was rolling over, using both hands and welcoming tummy time. By the end of the week, the irregular skull began resuming normal shape. At this point the case manager informed me it was going to cost 5100 dollars out of pocket for them to provide me with 2 adjustments a week and decompression therapy etc. for 10 weeks to correct my back and shoulder issues. I was in shock and highly disappointed, I really thought for a minute they actually cared, and I had hope, all dashed. Then they gave me a copy of the plan and out the door. Just wow.
