He had irregular shaping on his head and didn't seem to have strength in his upper torso. Cried when put on his tummy and couldn't lift his head well or use both hands while on his tummy. After adjustment of his palate, the skull, and various places in his neck and torso, he was able to nurse for the first time with no fussing, thrashing, or latching issues. Within one day he was rolling over, using both hands and welcoming tummy time. By the end of the week, the irregular skull began resuming normal shape. After the 2nd visit we told the receptionist, we came in with one baby and left with a "different" one. Couldn't be more thrilled with the results!!!

At this point the case manager informed me it was going to cost 5100 dollars out of pocket for them to provide me with 2 adjustments a week and decompression therapy etc. for 10 weeks to correct my back and shoulder issues. They did x-rays (at least I think they did - I never actually saw the film), had an assistant give me a massage, and then the doctor did a brief adjustment that didn't feel very good. He also poked some needles in by back. I paid my co-pay, and left with roughly the same amount of pain as I had when I went in. A month or so later, I received a bill for almost $200. This was after insurance had made a payment to them for over $220. Really?!? If you're trying to do the math at home, I'll help you out - they billed over $400 for my visit. Seems a little steep, no? I'm not making any judgments on the "Doctor"s chiropractical prowess...I've only visited a couple of them over the years, and am far from an expert. However, I will advise you that if you visit this clinic, get real clear on what services they'll be performing, and what they'll be charging for them.

Twenty years ago…read more I stopped going in 2020 partly due to COVID and partly because I had been feeling so good and any aches I did have could usually be resolved with ice and a shiatsu massage. Per usual, here I am again, dealing with new back pain and my neck nearly as bad is it was many years ago. But I didn't take care of my spine the way he taught me and I didn't maintain its' health. I stopped wearing the insert in my shoe he had provided to me that kept my pelvis level. And now I work on a computer all day. His office has friendly and helpful staff and billing and insurance is handled professionally. I will be going back to Dr. Myshka, without hesitation. I know a number of people who won't go to anyone else, one of which used to be my massage therapist. Regarding the older equipment that some mention him using, I've never found it to be lacking or to fail, or produce bad x-rays. If it was as bad as one reviewer claimed, insurance, or other healthcare providers wouldn't continue to work with him. Plus with the newer equipment, spinal exams are very accurate and I can see them as the machines work, allowing me to see where the data he relies for determining initial conditions and consistent progress over time is coming from. No matter what anyone on Yelp says that is negative about this chiropractor, every single experience I had over the past 20 years has only helped my spine, my posture, my breathing, my digestion, and even my anxiety, which if left unaddressed inevitably leads to stress and tension, causing more aches and pains. Dr. Myshka is the only chiropractor I've ever been to. So my perspective regarding practitioners is very limited. I was then told I'd need to pay 30% of each visit out of pocket, despite my situation stemming from a car accident. When I expressed hesitation and said I needed time to consider the financial commitment, the doctor's response was shockingly unprofessional. He accused me of "dusting my health under the rug" and questioned whether my well-being was worth the investment, trying to guilt-trip me into agreeing. I felt pressured and uncomfortable, and when I tried to leave, he repeatedly called me back into the room to probe about my finances. I left the office in tears, feeling shamed rather than supported. This experience was more about pushing a payment plan than providing care.
