We get an email that A&A Metro and Lucini Bus Line offer transpiration and now I call and neither of them do! Called the main office and no help whatsoever in helping me get my daughter to school! Only suggestion: call a friend or ask a neighbor! My neighbor is my landlord with no little kids who goes to work at 4am & we don't know anyone in this town! We have no friends or family in Bridgewater (that's why we are moving after next year) & I am not going to go knocking on neighbors doors to see who has a child at the Mitchell so they can take my daughter to school! My dad has been coming from Brockton to help and now that he can no longer do it everyday the "wonderful" transportation department of the district only says to find a neighbor or a friend and that's it! If I had family, a neighbor, or a friend I wouldn't be trying to get a van service or call for help! I have a 1.5 yr old toddler and I don't live at a decent walking distance from the school and I will not walk in the winter with 2 little girls! The Pay To Ride Program was a life saver and now we are going through hell because the district doesn't want to help families with no vehicles or non-driving parents! We've used the Pay To Ride program for years! If there was public buses or some sort of transportation ok, but Bridgewater doesn't have BAT buses like Brockton and other towns do!

I included pics of the daily progress paper your staff handed out at the end of the day to ensure you that we went to this glorified daycare. It's too bad the school has such a high turn over that they don't know who attends the school and perhaps they all pretend to not remember people. But they will sure kept our money and deposit without a problem when we refused to send our child back the following semester after paying in full. At the end of the day HOMS gets visits from other Montessori people because it is not up to par with the rest of their programs the state has to offer. This school offers the bare minimum of what other real Montessori schools offer. But once he started at the Phoenix School, things turned around. He came home after the first day and said, "It's like the teachers aren't even teachers--they're just people!" The caring relationship with his teachers, the community at the school, the way his teachers push him to do more than he thought he could and support him as he learns to push himself has been amazing. He loves school now and is thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. The way they integrate learning across all their activities is special. Students learn all the academic skills throughout all their activities, along with specialized practice in, say, math or writing, especially as they get older. They also use the community at large as their classroom with frequent out-of-the-classroom learning experiences that engage students far more than anything I've seen at any other school. Teachers support students as they produce high-quality work, with autonomy and ownership over their own learning. Teachers are among the most dedicated professional educators I've ever met. They work hard to create a community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members dedicated to the well-being and education of students as complete people. It's not possible for me to say enough good things about this school.

The teachers at all levels are nurturing while allowing each child to individually (at their own pace) reach and/or exceed their potential. Especially notable is the arts program and the extended theater program which allows children to perform in plays providing them the confidence to speak in public. The enrichment classes allow preschoolers to practice being on stage, elementary students to join various sports activities, and kindergartners through middle schoolers to join larger productions (such as Annie and Seussical). My children have graduated college, but still fondly remember their Bay Farm experiences.

The new principal, Mr. Rothwell, staff and teachers are dedicated caring passionate people. They do go the extra mile to foster a warm, loving, safe environment for the kids to grow, learn and develop in. We moved here and didn't know a lot about the schools. The guidance counselor, Mr. Hintz, warmly greeted us and gave us a tour and answered our questions when we were going through the school choice process. The enthusiasm around the school is contagious. Typically a word you don't want to hear about when it comes to schools. However you, your child, and your family are bound to catch it. Parents are friendly and welcoming, whether they are part of the PTO or just coming and going to and from the school. There is plenty of room with large play yards and play structures. Ample parking and a very safe drop off and pick up process. Pleasant street can be a bit busy so drive with care during school hours. Check in at the office and your bound to find more friendly faces willing to help you out. Ms. Silverman is incredible and keeps things pulled together and moving smoothly. If you need help or have questions the health educator, Ms. Kinsella, and nurse, Ms. Pratt, are also ready and willing to step in and put your child at ease. Mr. Wisneski is an outstanding person who does not only teach but brings fun, I mean fun, into the class every day. Every person I spoke to before the beginning of the year had so many wonderful things to say that it helped put my mind at ease. Given our short time at this school I don't know each and every teacher. However, they all work together for the kids and fold them all in. Everyone at Brophy has helped to make the transition smooth, fun, and easy. How can you not learn when you are having fun and excited to be there? So the down fall, if there is one, is the kids grow up and move on.

My kids can't pick a favorite teacher because they've loved them all. My kids have grown tremendously both socially and academically. We've made lasting friendships and the only thing I regret is that in a few years my kids will no longer be at Brophy --when they move on to middle school.

They engage students by encouraging volunteer time during school hours, and also parents by allowing them to interact to help students in various ways. The curriculum allows students to take lessons in chess and Chinese even beginning in Kindergarten. There is a curriculum plan for the year even in K -- but they fold teaching into creative ways of learning, and the students seem to love being here. The campus is expansive and impressive, but also inviting and playful. There's always a good positive vibe and energy around campus. I especially like how open and inviting the Head of School and leadership are to questions and feedback. They openly encourage parents to inquire and provide input so they can continue improving.

Kudos to Gordon for seeing an a opportunity to support kids athletics and make a little money! The school is nestled off a major road, in a suburban neighborhood. Not a large parking lot, but enough spots that we require. Cute little playground. The facility is very clean with ample bathrooms (they have baby wipes and offer free lady products in the bathrooms!) The gymnasium is in great condition with bleachers. It is large enough that each daughter is able to find her place academically, socially, spiritually, athletically and is able to develop a healthy sense of self. MB is unique in that the Quaker values provide a calming, quiet powerful start to their day and help to build a partnership with their teachers. Our world is changing fast and we feel that Moses Brown is focused on the world that our girls will thrive in bc of their experiences and problem solving skills. No school is perfect but from our experience we feel that MB partners with us as parents to help mentor our kids to be the best they can be, to help make the world around them a better place and to feel Confident in their abilities. It is a challenging school but large enough to accommodate different learning styles. When there are tough issues that arise the faculty addresses them immediately. Our family is active at the school because we believe in the MB mission and feel blessed to be a part of the welcoming community.
