Staff always remember me by asking about small details of my personal life that we converse about. The doctors and hygienists have good communication walking through what they are doing during the procedure. I've also once had to cancel my appointment last minute due to falling ill, however there was miscommunication so my cancellation never got through. The Front Desk staff never blamed or gave me grief, but replied professionally and positively - which is very hard to come by these days! Another example of great customer service was that I had a procedure done which had a complication so it was referred to a specialist. Without even asking, they offered to waive the procedural charges on Fraserview Densit's end completely. Going to the dentist can be a daunting experience, but you are in good hands with these well trained staff!

I had a very positive first experience with this office…read more I am not a native Canadian, so the dental insurance system was not familiar to me. I stopped by on a late afternoon to ask about the process, and the administrative assistant was very helpful and patient in explaining everything to me. I really appreciate the fact that this office is open evenings on certain weekdays, so that I don't have to take time off of work. Yes, one might need to book 6 weeks in advance for one of their highly-coveted evening appointment slots, but I had no problem with that. When I finally went for my appointment, the hygienist was very polite. The patient rooms have TV to stay entertained. Each step of the appointment moved very efficiently (visual inspection, xrays, pick cleaning, polishing, flossing, fluoride (the last of which is not part of standard procedure in the 'States, in my experience)). The dentist was very thorough, and not only had me take x-rays twice because one of them was not clear, but also told me he wanted to consult a more experienced dentist in the office later in the week because there was a potential problem spot (everything ended up being ok). I never felt like I was being upsold on anything. Everything was quite thorough. They even gave me lab safety googles so that accidental gushes of liquid didn't spray me on my face while I was laying down -- so courteous. The one half-joking criticism I might have would be that they were almost too concerned for my comfort, such that I feel like they were being TOO gentle during my polishing and flossing! Also, maybe it's because I'm from a place where dental visits are relatively bare-bones, but I was shocked to have received not just a normal tooth brush but and electronic tooth brush in my post-visit goodie bag. I look forward to each subsequent visit being just as pleasant as my first.

So after the great bacon-caramel-apple incident of early 2012 (featuring Colene C and Vincci L), a…read moremajor filling in my mouth decided to call it quits. The problem was that it was a filling on a baby tooth with no adult tooth to replace it (surely a byproduct of inbreeding). Since this once-invincible baby tooth no longer had a filling holding it together, it started falling apart in little chunks...not the most pleasant experience. It was awkward eating, things were constantly getting stuck in there and I realized that my dream of looking like a pirate could come to fruition at the tender age of 32. Gah. So not ready for this destiny. My friend James suggested that I see his dentist and I jumped to contact him. I gave the office a call, they worked around my schedule, staying late at work so that they could see me that very day. Ah-may-zing. Within 30 mins --if that-- my snaggly-crumbly tooth was transformed into a brand spanking new, full tooth. Insane. So smooth, so perfect. Chewing was/is basically euphoric. I don't know how they did that so quickly and perfectly but basically I'm happily indebted to them for saving me from needing to poke out my eye and purchase a parrot. I can continue being compared to plus-sized redheaded celebrities instead of Captain Jack Sparrow. Things could be worse. Kensington Dental Clinic for the win!

A couple years ago my family dentist was busy so I had all our cleaning done at Centro after being referred to them by an Orthodontist friend of ours. Yesterday I called them again to book an appointment cause our family dentist has an emergency and so unable to see us before the end of the year. So then Centro booked the appointments for all of us, and our family dentist even faxed them our X-rays to help them out and today the office manager named Peggy called me saying they are cancelling all our appointments cause they don't share patients! ...Like why not tell me yesterday before wasting all my time booking the appointments, and then also having our family dentist fax over X-rays! ...pathetic bunch of low-life operators!

All their staff are very friendly and they make the experience of attending a dentist as painless as possible. Their staff are fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Even though I no longer live in Richmond and it is a bit of a trek for me to come into Richmond I still come back here for regular cleanings and check ups because they are that good.
