The Dr., nurses, receptionist, all gave me excellent service that night. Yesterday my husband came in to have a knee replacement. As soon as we got here we were taken back. They got him ready for surgery and explained everything to us and made themselves available to me. Now, having said that, I will say this. Just like every establishment, you're always gonna have a few that only show up for work because it's a job, I met a couple of surgical nurses yesterday that were doing just that. While most were very professional, these ladies were more interested in laughing and acting a fool, being very loud and wanting everyone to know that their goals in life were having fun, and being obnoxious. Letting it be known to all of us who were there waiting with our family members that they were only there because they had to be and anytime they could get by with not being there, they certainly would not be. During my husbands surgery, I was kept informed about his condition and as soon as he was through surgery, the Dr. came out and talked to me. He gave me my husbands room number and a nurse was waiting for me when I got there to let me know that he would be taking care of him. I cannot express the compassion and quality of care that all of the employees have given to my husband and myself. His nurses Paul and Hope, have gone out of their way to make sure they keep a check on him, to make sure his pain is manageable, and to even make sure that I've been comfortable because they know I've been here for the past 32 hours. I wish I could personally thank each and every one of the workers who have helped make my husbands experience here a lot less stressful, but I don't know who they are. All I can say is, thank you to each of you who are working on the fifth floor this week... you have made our stay here tolerable and I really appreciate it Leeda Robinson

ALL the tests he's (the patient) has had done have been AFTER I have asked about them. They came to get him for a head CT, went to go get a wheel chair, and never came back. I had to go ask why they didn't come back and a few minutes later someone finally came to get him. At least 2 hours later, after I said something else, They came to get him to draw labs. They couldn't get the blood, then brought him back to the waiting room again. An hour later I asked what they were going to do about labs. 20 minutes later a nurse comes and takes him for labs. It is now 7.5 hours in the waiting room. Haven't heard ANY results. Asked for the person in charge 30 minutes ago. Still no one and they keep telling me someone will come talk to us. I'm asking in the triage room where there are 3 people and 2 of them sitting. No patients in this room for the 10 minutes I've been waiting. And they don't care!

I filled out the paperwork and was taken to a dressing room. I was given a key to secure my belongings. I had never had an MRI before but was told what to expect before the procedure began. I was a bit surprised that it was going to take 20 minutes inside the machine. The machine was noisy, but again, it didn't bother me. The entire experience took less than an hour. I felt the staff was kind and the original Doctor that I had been introduced to was extremely accommodating in arranging the appointment without delay. My Dr. Kenneth Taylor received the results also in a timely manner and I was able to begin physical therapy immediately.

I was taken to a room and asked to take off some of my clothing and empty my pockets including my wallet. I was told my personal effects would be secured, but when I returned to retrieve them, they were not, and a key was in the door. The technician was itinerant who traveled wherever the parent company needed him. I had not been told my MRI would be with contrast. We had to wait for the doctor to arrive to inject the dye. It was very painful, and no empathy. The MRI was also very painful and louder than any previous. The machine appeared to be from the 70's. Definitely imaging on the cheap.
