Someone did call back and I explained what happened and they told me that there is no appointment for that day available. I told them the website shows no appointments through July and I was told that's because we have no appointments... I said I guess I'm going to need to find another doctor and she said OK and hung up on me. The original doctors in the office may be good, but everything else about this place is absolutely frustrating and horrible!!! After getting out of the hospital, I would love to see the doctor that I've been with for over 30 years, but I can't get an appointment, it's extremely sad and frustrating. Sadly, no one in the office except the doctors seems to really care.

The unrushed atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff superb. Dr. Carson is highly knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest meds, conditions, procedures, diagnostics, etc., and readily shares how he determines appropriate treatment. He welcomes patient questions and input. I particularly appreciate that he isn't an alarmist and works with the patient to figure out the optimal approach to address a medical issue. So my review is for the Pt Pleasant location. I was seen immediately, and everyone was kind, caring, and informative. Anytime a test was taken, they gave me the estimated turnaround time and kept me up to date. This facility also has a CT scan which meant I did not have to go to the main hospital location in Brick. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and caring attention that I received and that I overheard other patients receiving. A great alternative to the main hospital ER.
