First of all , I wanted to say that I have been coming to this place regularly for the past 4 years for its haddock(at least twice a week) except during the pandemic . I was so excited that the lockdown ended and I could keep coming back to this place just like before . However , after today I suspect that I would ever be going back to this place again . I am not usually bothered about where I sit but today I was given a terrible table despite other tables being available and free . I asked repeatedly if I can move as the table was in a crowded area where the waiters could not adhere to social distancing but I was repeatedly denied changing my table . There were other tables clearly available but a tall guy with short hair (blond, probably some sort of shift manager as other waiters were trying to ask his permission ) repeatedly refused to move me even though he could clearly see that I am having very difficult time in there and they were at least three other tables available by the window and they were not occupied till the time I left . To be honest , I don't think they were even legally allowed to serve me in that crowded spot during this pandemic . Other waiters were willing to help but that one guy stopped them from moving me . Till the very end , all I could think of was to eat as quickly as possible so that I can get out of here as soon as I can . I did not enjoy the food nor the experience and would not be going there again specially during this pandemic where they don't follow simple social distancing and leave you in a crowded spot like that . ( Kitchen entrance ) The guy was clearly lying about the tables being booked as I could overhear him while talking to the waiters . I felt like I'm helpless and being discriminated against but could not do anything . I will be leaving this across different platforms and would advise all my mates against going here . read more
