He told me I didn't need fillers because my lips were already full, but simply needed a "lip flip" instead (which ended up being two units of Botox). This is extremely cheaper than lip fillers, and he was honest, and instead of making more bank for himself, he told me what I needed. I recently started going to him for my lips after the consult, and he has done a phenomenal job. He makes me feel so beautiful and confident leaving the office when I get them done, and I couldn't be happier with my results! Highly recommend this office.

She had a laundry list of additional work she said I needed, but would wait until my insurance deductible started over. I went in several times to get my crowns adjusted to fit my bite. She continually blamed me for the incorrect fitting saying I was a clencher and therefore always had a different bite. I finally gave up and went to a new dentist and he adjusted them correctly the first time with no issues. He also did a full checkup and stated there was no other work that had to be done right now. I now feel looking back that Dr Batoon did more work than necessary and wished to do more, but I couldn't afford it at the time. Thank goodness. She also sent me a bill for almost $400 three months after an appointment saying that they were wrong about what insurance would cover. Also, during one of my many crown fitting visits, she ground down a gold crown I already had to the point where there is a hole in it now. She told me at the time, she needed to replace that down the road anyway. Once again, my new dentist disagreed and said it would not have been necessary to replace the crown, but I will probably need to now.

He is kind, gentle, and amazing with kids!! I mean, my kid is definitely awesome, but this was a tough situation and any child would understandably start to become worried..that was not the case for my son at all. I've been in multiple times and have always trusted and respected Dr. Cohens advice. He doesn't like to push x-rays, he does like to get them when they are over 2 but if the kids don't sit for them he says it's fine and waits for the next visit. He doesn't like exposing them to the radiation, he will wait till he is 100% positive the kid needs something like a root canal, he isn't procedure happy. He is very patient with the kids, I have one very shy son and he has never been afraid here. When you bring in the kids at 1 and 2yrs old he does a great job of making sure he goes at their pace and comfort. I found his office through a friend who owns many adult dentist offices, and I asked who is the best to take kids to, he said Dr. cohen and I have not regretted my decision taking my 4 kids here.
