I can't say enough good things about the school both my babies have been going here since preschool, now in first and second grade, and they are leaps and bounds above others schools, both education and moral wise. Example. Both my kids celebrated their birthdays this past weekend at our house and we had about 34 kids that were from the school that came to our party (all friends and siblings of their friends, ages 3 to 13) My family and a couple other parents that don't attend The school were extremely impressed on how all the kids at the party got along perfectly and there were no arguments or bad behavior. Everyone was very well mannered and I owe that all to how great the school is. The school is so amazing with my children I could never go anywhere else, and I love the fact that my kids are so well educated, and taken care of. BBCA is the best! My 2 children attended from 2 years old to 6th grade when we moved. From the teachers to the families who attend, this school is what every kid needs. They love your children, push your children and help them excel while keeping focus on the fruits of the spirit and instilling a good Christian Foundation. My sons attended this school up until 1st grade. These were some of the best elementary school years for my kids. They still talk about this school and how they miss their teachers and friends at BBCA. What I miss the most, besides the most loving staff, is the Christian teaching in their school curriculum. The school did such a great job pushing these kids academically while also instilling the Christian Faith in them. I love that they focus on the Fruit of the Spirit and award one to a student each month. I can't say enough great things about this school! Also, during Covid they went above and beyond and gave us parents an in person option when most schools were only doing virtual. My child learned more than he would have doing Zoom because at 5 most kids attention span on Zoom is about 15 minutes at most. Another wonderful thing about this school is how beautiful their school events are! The amount of thought and care that goes into their graduations, Christmas shows and school fundraisers show how much they love their students and school. It's a no from me, ya'll! I say pass on this place after almost 5 years of seeing it go downhill. I would not recommend, unless you are looking for subpar homeschool help. They are not a private school because they can't qualify as one. If you want to homeschool with a little help, while paying a premium price for tutoring, go ahead! We didn't attend but when we were looking for a preschool for our daughter we interviewed them. Very sweet people, clean facility. The kids were all happy and socializing well. We ended up going with a different school due to our budget. Good Luck! read more

Bright Beginnings Christian Academy is definitely a five star school. They have gone above and beyond academically and in all ways socially for our children! We love this school! When my son came to this school, he struggled with sitting still, handling big emotions and behaving in a classroom setting. (He had just turned 3) Less than a year later, he can sit in his desk, he participates in class and can write his name! The transformation in him has been amazing! The teachers are truly invested in my son's success and Miss Drena (the Director) and Miss Lisa are invested in our family as well. I feel safe sending my son here every week. He is engaged, challenged and happy as part of the BBCA family. We went through a lot of vetting of other childcare/preschool options in the area. No place in my review do I reference the Pre-School side of your business. My review is solely based on the Private school (K-3). In our initial meetings, you did in fact tell me that the private school was State accredited. Since you recall this meeting with me, I'm sure you also recollect that I had a witness that also attended discussion who can validate you made this claim. 2. When I came to you, my initial inquiry was to find a private school where my daughter could remain from K-8; not only Pre-K (day care) as you claim. I specifically asked you about your teachers having degrees and teaching credentials as this is something I place value upon. Your direct response was in fact that ALL your teachers in the private school had degrees and teaching credentials (which is why you paid them so well). Ring a bell now? If not, my witness can also validate this. 3. My specific reference to substitute teachers on your campus is legitimate. You knowingly use parent volunteers or your Pre-K teachers in place of a legitimately qualified teacher. When I came to speak with you about this in person you whole heartedly admitted to wrong doing; all while crying your eyes out in attempt to make me feel sorry for you. Please don't lie in public forum; I recorded this conversation on my cell phone and I'd be more than happy to play it back for you. Also, check your facts on substitute teachers. I had not made any reference to the preference or performance of Abeka vs. Common Core. Your claim to me was that your curriculum is identical to what is taught in public schools. It is not. In fact, during your Open House you openly claimed that your private school teachers moonlight as tutors and encouraged the parents to hire them as resources outside of class. You probably forgot you made this claim in another open forum, right? 6. I hope that you aren't trying to take credit for my daughter being intellectually advanced. She already knew how to write and read all her sight words before stepping foot on your campus. You and I had detailed discussion about your school's ability to keep her challenged when we enrolled. On 3 separate occasions I had to request that she be evaluated to be moved out of Pre-K because she was so bored. The only reason you moved her up to Kindergarten early was because we expressed interest to leave the school and go somewhere that could support the challenge she needed. Since the Christian thing to do is threaten legal action in a public forum, please inform your legal counsel that witnesses and voice recordings can validate every false claim you made to me. read more

Awesome staff at Bright Beginnings!!! My nephew enjoys learning and socializing with the other children. He is always talking about what he learned in class that day and enjoys singing songs everyday! Way to go Panda class! Miss Drena and her staff do an excellent job making sure that each child is important and cared for. They provide a warmth that makes this preschool uniquely special. Both of my children have been attending Bright Beginnings Christian Academy for almost 2 years. I cannot be thankful enough to the staff and teachers at BBCA for helping my children thrive daily both academically and spiritually. Upon entering the school initially, both of my children were very timid and shy. They were both attending a franchised daycare facility that cared more about the headcount instead of the child and their needs. Within the first couple of weeks of transferring to BBCA, they completely transformed. They woke up excited to go to school and could not wait to learn. To this day, they are eager to attend school. BBCA helped create a spiritual foundation that we both my husband and I struggled establishing for our kids. They have learned to freely speak about God and pray in times of joy and sorrow. The staff and teachers are amazing! They greet each and every child and family by name daily regardless if you are in their class or not. If a child is upset, they lovingly nurture them. If they are happy or excited, they share in their excitement and praise them. They tend to the emotional needs of each and every child. My youngest being in the preschool program has grown so much academically. He learned his letters and sounds early on that he has learned to sound words out and learn the blends of words, not memorize them by sight. Our oldest is in their private school program and he learned to read early on. His written, verbal and oral skills are very advanced for his age. At BBCA, he has attended amazing after school semester enrichment programs such as computers, tae kwon do, math comprehension, gymnastics, and creative writing. The academic benefits of this school are incredible! Both my husband and I being working parents rest assured knowing that we are leaving our kids in a safe, loving, nurturing environment. As parents we struggle daily leaving them but we know they are being cared for and loved as if they were at home. The teachers and staff at BBCA have truly created a family oriented environment and love each and every child as if they were their own. After being one of their biggest cheerleaders, I realized I had been fooled. When I enrolled my child 1.5 years ago, I was told the kids were grouped based on abilities and maturity. But in fact, they grouped them based on whether they were enrolling for their kindergarten class the next year or not. Those enrolling were offered a computer reading app for kids. Our class was not offered that app. The other class received challenging in-class worksheets and sight words. Our class did not. Our class was assigned 3 different teachers in the last 5months. Two of them being new hires and the most recent had no idea what a sight word was. I tried talking to the Director Drena, and got lies and excuses. They eventually gave me the app for my child and offered me extra worksheets for my child to take home. I did not feel this was fair for the entire class.  I though I was making headway when I got them to agree to give our class the app. I figured it was only fair since the other class got it 6months before. But even after 1month, still nothing but excuses.  The school even denied that they were doing sight words in the other class. They said sight words were not a requirement. I had to show them images that in fact they were doing them in the other class. In fact, most of the local preschools are all introducing sight words to their older preschoolers.  In all my attempts to deal with this issue,  all I got were more lies and eventually insults when confronted. They even stooped as low as to blame two children for the lack of progress in our class. I was mortified to see those parents humiliated and used as an excuse. Shame on Bright Beginnings and those involved for treating our kids so unfairly.  We trusted them and left our children in their care. They took advantage of our blind trust.  This could have been easily resolved if they treated all the kids fairly. They took no accountability or responsibility for any of it. To blame the kids was the last straw for me.  Not to mention all the fundraising and parent participation they received.  No accountability, not even to mention how much was raised at any of the events. Ms. Drena and Ms. Lisa are the best! They are so friendly. All the teachers are so loving. I love that they teach the kids about God and how they need to grow up to be kind and loving people. I feel like most daycare just focus on academics, but this school is so well rounded. They do a great job at everything! I was just going to put my kids in preschool here, but I love it so much that I'm going to continue on with Kindergarten. read more

There truly are not enough positive things I can say about this school! This school provides a safe and loving environment for each student. The teachers are patient and gifted in their techniques. Each teacher knows their students and the families by name and often even the names of students and families in other rooms :) The office staff is amazing! Ms. Drena and Ms. Lisa take the time everyday to greet you personally. If you have any concerns about your child, you are welcome to talk with them or the teacher and they will work with your child to improve. And if you are struggling with something, they are willing to talk with you and pray with you. Every staff member I have met, has treated me and my family with such love and kindness, that I never want to leave this school! I cannot say enough good things about BBCA. Our son started in the summer program and was very clingy when he started, but he adapted much quicker than expected. Ms. Drena, Ms. Lisa, and all the amazing teachers are very nurturing and lovable. I feel the kids are looked after and safe at this BBCA. Usually the director or another staff member monitors who drops off & picks up the kids so they are familiar with everyone. They go to Chapel once a week and learn about the bible. Our son comes home and prays for us and tells us what he learns on a daily basis. He is always eager to wake up in the mornings to attend school. We have been so blessed to have found this school and thankful for everything they have done with our son. read more
