They truly love the kids and treat each one as if they were their own. We had Ms. Christine when we started and she is a gem. The director Amanda is personable and kind. She responds promptly and answers all my/our ridiculous questions. We looked at several daycares before selecting Kindercare (there is even one that is down the road from us) and they seemed overly cartoony or sterile like an empty high school. Kindercare has a homey feel to it. You can here the kids laughing, talking like it should be. They get to spent time outside everyday sometimes 2x a day depending on the weather. It can be a little pricey (but that's childcare). They feed them breakfast, lunch and a snack and their hours are amazing 6:30am-6pm which helps when you work weird hours. Our son's current teachers are amazing as well special shout-out to Ms. Robin, Ms. Grace, Ms. Erika and Ms. Avery. They have a blast and have creative ways to engage the kids. One huge thing that stands out to me is that the staff all knows our son. Even teachers who have never had him but they all say good morning and good bye to him. They don't have to do that but it's that extra special touch that makes the difference. Thank you everyone! We appreciate you and all that you do!!

Everyone there is just absolutely lovely and such beautiful people. They have shown my children so much love and care. My daughter is a Velcro baby, meaning she's a literal baby koala. I can't thank Alexa, Rose, and Renee, in the infant room, enough for holding her when she wanted to be held, as long as she wanted. She then moved up to the waddler room, with new teachers, but they are as amazing as the infant room teachers. Sara, Susan, Chelsea, and Rebecca are literal angels. I just can't thank them enough for everything they've done for my daughter and us. They took such great care of her this past year. My son started in the toddler 2 room with Ms Mimi, Graciela, and Kristie. We absolutely love them! They're all such sweethearts! Ms Mimi is so good with the kids! She knows exactly how to take control of her class, which are all toddlers! Touché to her! Ms Mimi is also so loving and caring. I really couldn't have asked for a better school for my children. They've learned so much while being there and they've made such amazing friends and connections. I also love their security! It's gated, and you need a special passcode to enter the school. Although my children have only had the teachers listed above, everyone in that building is so friendly and welcoming. Ms Carmela is in charge of the toddler program, and she is just so amazing. She takes her time to meet families and hears any concerns you may have. If HCMS was on your list of schools to check out, go with it! You won't regret ever enrolling your kids there. It's a real Montessori school, filled with loving, hardworking, respectful teachers. You'll really see your children bloom into such smart, independent, loving, little people.

Was quoted the wrong tuition from the start and my concerns expressed along with other family members were ignored. If you want a school with a classroom that truly enriches kids without rotating teachers (I've seen up to 6 teachers in my sons class periodically) , active communication and detailed curriculum activities in the app they use..do not go here.

My worst nightmare happened at Tutor time in Norwalk when my daughter came home with unexplained…read moreinjuries. When she started, she would cry unconsolably when we dropped her off. When I watched her on their video app, I noticed she wouldn't be comforted. I also noticed that she spent hours in the crib despite only napping for an hour. The teacher was cold towards her and my daughter seemed specifically scared of this teacher. There was a lot of neglect and isolation. When she was picked up by this specific teacher, it was without empathy. I saw my daughter fearfully retreat into the crib when she was approached by her. I saw my daughter swat at her face and the teacher then took her to an area of the room that isn't visible on camera. When I tried to screenshot or record what I saw, it disables the app. I called the assistant director and spoke with him about my concerns. That evening when I went to bathe my daughter, I noticed multiple abrasions on her chest, armpit, back and puncture wounds on her hand. I sent an email to the assistant director and met with him and the site director in the morning. When I undressed my daughter and showed them her injuries they stated they felt they occurred by the teacher picking her up and being scratched by her long nails accidentally. There was never an incident report made. It's impossible that my daughter was scratched harmlessly with her clothes on leaving a total of 9 marks on her left side and two on her right hand. There is no way that my daughter scratched herself nor another child. I am a ER physician and their lack of concern is appalling. This was not an accident. I believe Tutor time is not naive to instances similar to what occurred with my daughter based on their response. They are not a safe facility for any child to attend and I definitely would warn anyone not to do so.

The environment is simple, comfortable, and not over stimulating, this allows babies and small children to explore at their own pace, grow their curiosity, and creativity. The staff is simply amazing. I have never felt anything but 100% comfortable leaving my children in their care. They go above and beyond the job and have treated my babies like their own. I truly consider them my village. They are willing to work with the family to solve just about any issue, and get through developmentally challenging times as a united front with you. Karen is fantastic with communication, and nothing lights up my day more than getting a cute picture of my little one's day at A Kid's Place 2!

Unfortunately, Cadence Education purchased Country Kids during that time and turned it into an incredible mess. I am aware of 4 other kids in my children's classroom who switched to the Goddard School in the last month. These are my reasons for our switch and why I would NEVER recommend Country Kids Cadence Education. 1. The Cadence administration does not care about the teachers and some of the teachers seem extremely unhappy. It felt upsetting to leave my children with a teacher who seemed visibly angry and unhappy. The head teacher for my children often did not say hello to my children when they arrived or acknowledge they were dropped off. She seemed extremely stressed and upset on a daily basis - not a great fit for a room full of three year olds. I do not blame this teacher since it was clear she was not being supported by the Cadence administrators running the school. On one of our last days, she was the only teacher in the room at drop off with approximately 15 children and she was on the phone trying to get help from someone in the office. 2. The teachers repeatedly complained to me that they do not have the support they need from the Cadence administration to properly take care of the children. There are not enough floaters so kids can't be taken to the bathroom if they have an accident. On 2 occasions when my 3 year old had an accident. I was called by the teacher and asked to come to the school due to not having a change of clothes. When I arrived, there was an available change of clothes and my child had been sitting in her soiled pants since the call was made 30 minutes earlier. The teacher informed me that the office was not answering her calls for help, they did not have enough teachers to help my child get cleaned up, and that my 3 year old should be able to clean herself up after an accident. 3. They are unable to retain teachers as employees. In a three month period, four teachers that my children were familiar with quit and told me they were leaving due to how awful Cadence treated them. On our last day at Cadence, a teacher confided to me that Cadence has recently hired a high school student who did not seem qualified for the job. 4. From age 2 until 3 1/2 my children switched rooms 3 times. The teachers in each of these rooms never helped my children to clean their faces (or guide them how to clean their own faces) properly after lunch and my kids would have food all over their faces each day when I picked them up at 5:30. This meant they had ketchup and other grime all over their faces for hours while they slept and played. 5. The teachers repeatedly told me that my children's room was supposed to have direct access to a toilet in the room and mentioned it was against the state guidelines that they did not. 6. The teachers and administration do not communicate with the parents about upcoming events like parent-teacher conferences, theme days, or if my kids took a nap or anything specific about their day. All communication about a child's day is copied and pasted for each child in the room and no individual details about my children were shared through their app. 7. When we decided to stop daycare with Cadence and move them to Goddard, Cadence assured me of the final amount I would be charged. They then overcharged me and have not provided me with a refund or a final accounting. Speaking with anyone by phone or any of the teachers is a constant chain of blaming each other and then blaming the overall administration. Due to these issues, I strongly discourage parents from sending their children to Cadence's Country Kids in Brookfield.

Rozetta, Felicia, Chris and Diane are all amazing with my son, caring for him as if he were their own. My son smiles from ear to ear on drop off and on pickup he is giggling and trying to blow kisses. He is a very active boy and still somehow they manage to keep up with him! He has flourished while under their supervision and is even starting to walk early.. They are on top of safe sleep and AAP recommendations for illness, introducing solids and overall feeding so I never have to worry (especially as a first time parent). They have a 3 to 1 ratio in the infant room which is better than anywhere else I've seen. I toured many facilities before choosing Country Kids and am very happy with my decision, as is my son. Additionally, they have handled everything from COVID-19 to a week-long power outage this year with great leadership and clear communication. They are taking health safety very seriously and I have been very happy with the steps they've taken to keep our kids safe.

In this current environment it is so nice to know that the teachers and staff genuinely care about the students. Both of my girls were standouts in High School. Teachers in High School would often comment that they noticed the firm grasp they had on all the educational basics and even commented that they must have not studied in the public school system. While both of my daughters have since graduated college and gone on to professional careers in tech and education, the friends they made at CLA are for life. A large majority of their fellow classmates graduated college from top institutions and also benefited from this great education. I can think of no better opportunity for any parent to watch their children blossom and grow in a caring environment, than we experienced at CLA

After being promised that my girls would leave CLA and enter honors classes at any public school, I find myself saddened by what their time at this school really produced. The teachers were portrayed to be highly qualified, but instead I found the teachers in the middle school classes unprepared with materials that were being presented. After having my girls tested in a public school, I find they are behind. My children are behind a year because of the mediocre curriculum and the unqualified teachers using it. There are profound security issues on the campus including: no guards, access to the building through unlocked and propped doors. After attempting several times to take my concerns to administration, I find the self-elected board and administration to be unresponsive. I am saddened that I had to withdraw my three girls, but can only pray and hope that Christian Life Academy will one day listen and learn from their mistakes. It is my hope by writing this painfully honest review that things will change.

Notice all their teachers are either really young or "older". I think I spent more time in the doctor's office with 6 ear infections in a year, RSV, you name it and so if you do the math, the time lost from work does not justify the cost. My child would come home with other children's clothing, bottles, utensils, etc. I can only imagine what he was being fed onsite. One child was stabbed by another child with scissors and it took a very, very long time and appeals to corporate headquarters to get this child (with a history of violent tendencies) kicked out. So also if you have 2 children, there was no sibling discount. Director was stalking me to send the 2nd child (almost 4K a month). I took it up to the Regional Director and it took ages for them to even get back to me. Finally they got back to me and said it was 5%. Insult to injury. If you do the math, it was equivalent to private college tuition. Hmmm, considering I lose a week a month to illnesses, I think it's not worth it. Then 2 more moms having second children left. After I left, I heard they lost a flurry of teachers plus their director. Not surprised. They need to really do something to make the Wilton community trust them again. Wilton moms have more negative things to say than positive. You'll pay a premium to send your child there but you will not get premium care. What they need to do to improve is to slash overall tuition for everyone and hire a director that really cares about the children and the teachers. Help the teachers love their jobs and then they will love the children. Hire detail oriented teachers. Sanitize the facilities better. Stop being so harsh on their teachers and show the parents that they are not greedy, corporate entities but a daycare that really cares.

The presentation of this school is good at first until you really start to familiarize yourself with how it operates. You walk in and in amazement see all the colors, the framework of the facility, all the big smiles and happy hellos... and if you are lucky you may actually see their Director there once in a while. I have only been there about 6 months and I have already withdrawn my child from this "school". The teachers, though seem loving of the children, complain constantly about their management and how they are treated. They make mistakes, not small ones, big one regarding safety of the children. One fed a baby milk with a bad milk allergy, another child was exposed to a stranger visitor without parent consent, they do not check licenses when someone picks up a child (even though they are good about needing a form). One family left abruptly while there, one teacher did, one regional manager as well and now myself along with two families are in the process of looking to transfer our kids. I cannot tell you how many countless times my child came home with someone else's clothing on. There are some things you expect from day cares and other things that are simply not appropriate in nature... the fact you are told y ou can give feedback and ask questions only to be countered with stories/excuses etc is the worst customer service Ive ever seen! Do yourself a favor and save the additional $600 a month and apply it to your child's bank account for college. Paying more and having a branded name of BH, most definitely does not guarantee you quality of care. Their lack of overall leadership at the center level and at a regional level when you file complaints is an outrage and utterly disgraceful. It's a very very sad situation when you are a parent and come to learn what the atmosphere is actually like there when they spend over 6 hours a day with these people.
