The kids are happy to go to school, they have developed strong relationships with their teachers, peers and administrative staff. My three year old comes home teaching us new songs (affirmation song, months of the year, days of the week, etc). The staff is attentive to the kiddos needs and go ABOVE AND BEYOND with their thematic weekly units with developmentally appropriate activities (sensory bin, open-ended play, show and tell, keepsake worthy arts and crafts). These are memorable learning experiences that will set the foundation for their educational career. Oh and did I mention they get to play outside because there is an outdoor space? The staff is always looking for ways to create positive learning experiences for the kids (i.e firetruck came to the center, farm animals, Halloween parade, etc.) They are also VERY receptive to feedback. We are so grateful for Children's Academy. We've had positive experiences almost everywhere we've been, but never so much help, support and consideration for working parents. The sheets, laundry on site, keeping frozen bottles and communal bibs made things sooooo much easier for this full time working mom of 3. And it was great to have a digital log of the eating and diaper changes. We hope our youngest will be able to be a drop in some day!

After 4 years the deterioration was evident. Changed owners, high staff turnover and a pretty toxic environment. The previous director had limited funds to work with but she made up for it with creativity & attention to the kid's development. The new company that bought out daycare forced her out abruptly and while the next director clearly cared about the kids I felt the level of learning was lacking. My son was 4 - in "preschool" and still couldn't write consistently, the curriculum was ad hoc and sub par. What really ticked me off was I kept my son in the preschool program because he was familiar with teachers and in past they had split up the 3 & 4yr olds into appropriate learning groups. The "new" model was to keep them all together- how do you expect a 4yr old to be interested or excited when the barely 3yr olds are acting like 3yr olds. There were 2 teachers in the room - NO EXCUSE not to split into age groups, and the curriculum was laughable, the teachers did best they could but were constantly undermined. Consequently Mu son's behavior regressed and we have had an uphill battle getting him prepared for kindergarten, still dealing with THAT crap. So NO I cannot recommend this place for preschool- it's OK for daycare and a plus they stay open til 7pm - that's about it.

I told them that the last camp he attended told me he was "very shy and they could barely get him to talk". On the very first day at the enchanted garden my son walked in and out of the school with a huge smile on his face. The teacher then told me that he wasn't shy at all and wasn't "slow to warm up", as I told her he would be. It just goes to show when your child is in a supportive, safe and creative environment with amazing teachers, they can truly shine. The teachers, Judy and Marcia, are true professionals in their field. Their background in the arts and working with children is apparent. I'm thrilled that I made the choice to send my son here, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a school where teachers give 1:1 attention to each child and allow them to blossom at their own pace.

We have never been disappointed, in fact the summer camp was my daughters favorite (she did 4 different camps last summer! and we continued to add on additional weeks at Enchanted Gardens as she loved being there so much). Ms Judy and Ms Marcia are wonderful with the children and the day is filled with creative activities. I only wish they had an option to start at 9am for all of the weeks!
