He just graduated VPK last week, and it brought me to tears knowing our time here was over. Ms. Vanessa was his teacher when he was 2 and she followed his class up to VPK. She has grown so much in her teaching career and as a person and I'm so thankful for her patience with the kids. My son had the tendency to act out some days (as all toddlers do) and she handled it and him beautifully. Ms. Vanessa sends photos of your child every day so you can always see what they're doing and learning. Which is nice because you don't have to worry about what your child is doing. Ms. Maria also started as a teacher and has moved up to being one of the best directors there. She was always so excited to see us every single morning. She would hug and love my child as if he was her own. Watching her work so hard to earn her director title was inspiring. I watched her as all the children would run and hug her when she entered a room. She loves this job. Period. Ms. Mavis, one of the other directors is so calm and caring for each of the kids across all the rooms. She reached out and let us know how our son was doing frequently and her demeanor around the kids was always that of a loving mother and friend. She was firm enough with the kids to keep the ship afloat. She has since moved on from Kinderhouse but she visits and helps out frequently and like Ms. Maria, was always so excited to see every child walk through those doors each and every day. It takes a lot to run a daycare and to maintain a clean, happy, loving environment for kids. Any parent who says otherwise about this place is quite literally delusional and probably has a personal issue. I understand that the $175 enrollment fee may be nonrefundable, even though we never ended up using the services. What I don't understand is why we couldn't receive a refund for the $325 first week of care when no care was provided and we gave more than a week's notice. From what we were told, the facility was not fully booked either. What bothered us most was the lack of empathy from the office and ownership. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--we were dealing with an unexpected change in our family's financial situation and simply hoped the facility would work with us. Instead, the response felt very corporate and like the policy mattered more than the circumstances. I also came across another review mentioning a similar experience with the owners, which unfortunately made us feel like this may be a pattern. When we're ready to look for childcare again, we'll be choosing a facility that we feel genuinely cares about the families and children they serve, not just the money. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this facility.

Initially this center had all the bells and whistles and for the most part the staff appeared concerned and helpful. We chose this center over two others because our son did not want to leave the day of the tour. Thank you Miss Jessie. Also, thank you Ms. Courtney as our son mentioned your name at home several times in a positive light. If you are looking for a center to help with potty training this is NOT the place. The teacher allowed our son to just urinate on himself going through multiple pullups a day like 7! Even during our initial potty training our son never went through that many pullups in a day. I started to think maybe they were using them for someone else, but still even though we had just moved I chalked it up to a new transition and maybe he was regressing. Week 2 was my first real red flag when my son did not want to go to school and he cried. We questioned him trying to figure out why, but can get only so much out of toddler and although I can make many assumptions I chose not to do that. Daily we would pick him up and the class was chaotic. Kids up on the table as the teacher yelled for them to get down, some kids playing in a corner and some at a table. Our son was usually at a table playing when we arrived and wet. When we mentioned his needs it was like we were blown off. However, over the next few days someone ensured he was dry before we picked him up after I said we picked him up soaking wet or that my husband took him to the bathroom before leaving the center. I pick up my son one afternoon and he doesn't have his clothes on, he wore jeans that day. Well, apparently he had wet himself so bad that it went through his clothes. I am in shock because the weekend my son went to the potty at home without incident. So, I'm thinking to myself no one paid attention to my son today. The response I got from the teacher was that he wasn't in her class all day and probably didn't tell anyone. I was so over it, but what broke the camel's back and put me in tears was the day I picked up my son and was told "He had a good day and just peed on himself all day". This was our last week and the very next day I talked with the director let her know my concerns and why we would NOT be finishing the week out. No compassion and no genuine feedback a fake apology and excuse of miscommunication of the use of the app is what I got. However, we are in a new daycare and the first week, the third day our son's teacher says to me "Have him wear underwear, every time I take him he is dry and he goes in the toilet" this was the best news ever and I knew someone was actually doing their job not only checking my son's potty needs but ensuring that he goes. The $1000+ spent sending him to TLE-Lakewood Ranch was horrific in itself. Especially for teachers not to do their jobs. Although, I'm not paying nearly that much at our new center, but would for the genuine care and compassion my son has received in just one week. This place needs an internal revamping.

His dad dropped him off Monday morning (we are separated) and I was going to pick him up Monday afternoon to start my week and so he brought my sons blanket because that's how we trade off and they said "ok well do it just this once". Also she told me he had some "anger management problems" come to find out my 2 year old had gotten stung by a bee and they didn't even notice. Without a doubt I can tell you that Ms. Roni and Ms. Desi had a huge impact on ensuring he had a positive outlook regarding school and supplied the building blocks for him to be a lifelong learner and successful student. The Director, Ms. Faith was always responsive to any situation or concern (although very few occurred) and showed genuine love and care for him and our family. I am so thankful for all the amazing individuals involved with this preschool and appreciate all they do to serve any family in our community. He has been in full time daycare since he was about 18 months and intellectually he is very far ahead of most others his age. I sent him to this school because they had excellent reviews online and we just moved to Florida so it was also 1.5 miles from my house. My friend sends her son who is also 4 there and she loved it there last year. 1. It's at a really dangerous intersection. I was in contact with the police department about changing it somehow but they never did anything. 2. Every Monday when I try to pay for the week there is never anyone in the office. In fact there is never anyone in the office in the mornings when I drop him off at 830am. School opens at 7 I believe but at 9am when I've tried to call no one is there. 3. For some reason every day he comes home STARVING but there's still snacks in his lunch box. 4. There is 12? Kids in the classroom with 1-2 teachers 5. My son was doing basic addition and spelling and learning Spanish last year at school and since he came to this school he has lost a lot of the Information. (He's been there since the end of August). 6. Since he has been at this school he has been hit, scratched, head butted, stung by a bee, come home with pink eye..... with all of these incidents I never received a call just an "incident report" upon picking him up from school. 7. There are two kids in the classroom who constantly have issues with other students at the school and they do nothing about it. My son tells me almost daily that "my friends at school are mean to me". It damn near breaks my heart. He tells me "(child's name) hits me and scratches me and kicks me" so I ask him if he told the teacher and he always says yes. And I ask him what she does about it and he says "nothing". I've gotten so frustrated that since telling the teacher isn't doing anything "hit him back then. But NEVER hit someone first" (I FULLY SUPPORT SELF DEFENSE) if he started acting this way while at school here he definitely learned that from the other kid because he has NEVER been exposed to that prior. He never had these issues at his previous school. My son's babysitter went and picked him up from school Wednesday and told me she saw two kids fighting on the playground and the new teacher just watched them and did nothing. He also came home with pink eye that day and I never got a call from this school. I'm writing a full review of my personal experience with this place because I feel everyone should know what kind of environment they will possibly be subjecting their children too. The school has also lost a few of his outfits because they "washed them" but we never saw them again. Soiled/dirty clothing should be sent home in a plastic bag to prevent this. When I went to the school to get his things since he won't be back because he has pink eye. The director (Ms. Faith) didn't even ask me about my reasons for leaving. She just said that if it doesn't work out at the next school that I'm out of luck. Like I'm not going to make it a point to tell her the issues I have encountered here. Just shows she doesn't really care or care to change anything. I have voiced my concerns with the teacher several times and every time I have tried the office. The front door is locked and lights are off. HE IS STARTING A DIFFERENT SCHOOL MONDAY
