I found Freestone (Aka Builder, Roofing) on Instagram. I afmit I was a bit nervous to approach a company with ads on IG but seemed out of options. I'm so glad I did! Idir and his team, including Ran, were incredibly responsive. A rep came to my house within 2 days, an estimate for repairs were sent via email in less than 48 hours, and followed up with opportunities to ask questions within a day. Once I obtained insurance authorization to start work, Ran scheduled repairs to start in less than a week, and they finished a bit more quickly than anticipated. The job was quick. More importantly, the pricing was fair and reasonable, and the work was perfection. The crew even identified a hole in heating ductwork that was unknown so that we could get it repaired. Because they did such a great job and established superior communication and tryst throughout the process, I decided to hire Freestone for my bathroom remodel. Ran has already proved to be a rockstar in communication, follow up through the estimation and contract process. The master bath was about 60sq ft (excluding alcove shower) in a 1999 3-story condo, and the job scope included: demolish/remove original alcove tub, sinks, vanity, mirror, vinyl flooring, baseboards install new tub with 12x24" tile shower walls install new shower fixtures at taller height install 12x12" tile flooring install new plywood, solid-door vanity install new porcelain sinks and hardware install shower curtain rod install vanity backsplash tile install tile baseboards The half bath was about 25sq ft and the job scope included: install new toilet with appropriate flange install new stand-alone vanity install sink fixture Michael and Chevy did the work themselves and met every timeline. Michael was responsive and communicative, quickly notifying us of changes. He got the job done with high-quality standards and within a reasonable timeframe, despite delays and set backs. For example, in late Feb 2025 there was a significant snow/ice storm that delayed the project by 2 days. Michael showed up on the weekends to continue the job to try and make up time. He was consistent, reliable, and transparent. Another example: Our master bath floor was not level enough for the tile, and Michael was clear and open about what had to be done to get the job finished to a top-quality standard. It added a couple days to the timeframe (and some cost), but the final result was well worth it. Last example: The half bath toilet flange had several errors from the original build and contractor work, and the toilet we bought had a manufacturing defect (leak) we found after installing the toilet. Despite these obstacles and added time, Michael brought the flange to code, uninstalled the defective toilet, and installed the defect-free replacement. There were several curveballs with our job and Michael handled them professionally and courteously, making sure we were involved with every change decision along the way. We are thinking about hiring him for our second (guest) bath remodel, and wish him all the success a small business owner can have!

Nate installed our original roof in September 2016 on our new build. Fast forward to Dec 2025 and…read morethere was a leak coming from one of the stem vents, running down the accordian pipe, and then into our bathroom ceiling fan and into our bathroom. I first called Nate on Dec 27 with no answer and then again on Dec 30. On Dec 30 he answered, seemed very responsive and helpful and offered to come out the next day. He asked me to text me my address, which I did. On Dec 31 I text him to confirm he was still coming because it was 1:55pm and I hadn't heard from him to which he did not respond. I figured since it was the holiday, I'd just wait until after the 1st. I reached him early the next week to which he said he'd been sick and would come out that Friday, Jan 9. On the afternoon of Jan 9 I called him because he had not confirmed and he let me know he'd been working on a chicken coop roof all day and it had taken longer than he thought but he'd come out that evening/weekend. From this point on, I never heard back from Nate again. I continued to call, text, and leave voicemails between Jan 9 and approx Jan 29. He never once responded to me - just completley ghosted me. I kept trying to reach him because I believed my roof should have still been covered under his warranty but he never responded to me so I could confirm or not. In early February, I found a referral to French Roofing. On Feb 2., Sean at French Roofing answered my call right away and by Feb 16 my roof had been repaired. I was told that Nate had put a 6" stem vent in a hole that should have had a 8" vent stem and that it had not been secured to the roof so debris started to get stuck underneath until and eventually water could run into the roof. French replaced both of those vents. French Roofing also installed ice and water around the vents and sprayed mold killer in the attic for me. I HIGHLY recommend French Roofing and I DO NOT recommend Nate and his team at True Line Construction. Nate at True Line was awful and I don't understand how he still has a business. Unprofessional, non-responsive and obvisouly does not care about the credibility of his work or care about people.
