We started my son here at 8 months old and my daughter at 3 months old (they are now 21 mo and…read more6mo). We couldn't be happier with the care they have been receiving. The teachers here have treated both of my children with so much love and warmth, it is obvious from the way my son happily sprints into the center every morning, and the huge smile on my 6 month olds face everytime she sees Ms. Mo, one of her providers. There is very little turnover, and the same people have been taking care of both of my kids the entire time they have been here. They have a curriculum in which the kids are doing something new and creative every day (with music, art, dancing, sign language, stories, etc), and even though the center doesn't have its own outdoor space, they go out to the park and local playground most days. There is also a very large indoor gymnasium so all winter the kids have a lot of active space to run and play. We really felt that the quality of the providers was exceptional, and even though we got off of a waitlist at a center that was logistically easier for us and closer to home, we chose to stay with MVPELC because our kids were so happy there. They are both developmentally thriving. The manager is also very responsive and clearly cares about the children and her staff. We are moving out of state and will be very sad to leave, as it is rare to find places like this that feel like part of your family. looking on yelp I see a lot of negative reviews, so it may be helpful to note that the place changed management around 2017 or 2018. We started in 2020 so I can't speak for how things were under the old management.

My daughter was enrolled at this location for 5 weeks. During that time, I witnessed the infant…read moreroom out of teacher-child ratio multiple mornings. I witnessed a teacher, Kelwan Matthews, leave a child not strapped into a bouncy chair and the child fell out. That same teacher also left a child unattended in a highchair on a countertop. My daughter has been left in loose unbuttoned clothing during nap time which is against safe sleep practices. There have been 2 separate COVID outbreaks in the infant room in 2 months because the staff disregards the director's authority by allowing parents to enter the infant room classroom whenever the teachers feel like it. The staff has tampered with my daughter's milk by intentionally taking it out of the refrigerator for an undisclosed amount of time. The director, Tyshera Wilhite, admitted to serving my child expired milk because she did not read the label. Water and food have been withheld from my daughter, according to the teacher's notes my daughter has only been offered water 9 times in 25 days. Photos of my child have been withheld for weeks after the staff took them without explanation. I've received photos of children that are not even mine. Kelwan Matthews has been emboldened to bully me during drop-off. She slammed doors, menacingly stared at me, and intentionally tampered with my daughter's supplies. My concerns have been unaddressed by the director, district manager, licensing, and the Learning Group Brand. I've been framed as a "problem parent" while the director has tried to gaslight me into believing I didn't witness any of this. The two senior teachers, Ms. Muriel and Ms. Margaret are saving graces of this location. God help any child who's not under their care. Parents BEWARE!

Two and a half years later, we are back for more training, and the center is just as amazing as I remember, in fact, with the introduction of the pecious status program, it's even better than before. I receive several updates a day on the app, to include pictures and personalized messages. I can also send messages to my daughter and her teachers. It's amazing to feel so connected to her throughout the day. Ms. Margaret and Ms. Laurissa are a dynamic teaching duo. I remember Ms. Margaret being amazing from our first experience. I don't remember all of the names, but a lot of the faces are familiar, which means low staff turn over = a great sign for a daycare center. They are also a NAEYC accredited center with a fantastic curriculum. The center director, Bethanie Faulkner, and her staff made re-enrollment and transitioning smooth and simple. Lakesha, the assistant director helped me with several of the finer details and was so warm and accomodating. She went the extra mile for us, which really reduced my stress levels! I wish I could them back home with us. If you are considering this center for your child, I highly recommend them. This is the most consistent center I have ever seen. We will miss Childtime and all of the wonderful people here.

My son attended this daycare when he was an infant in 2016 for 7 months. The infant classroom is…read moreclean and spacious. They wash the toys every Friday. I thought it is very nice to have an app to get an update about my son (when he eats, diaper changes, a picture etc. ). But the app is not an advantage but a disadvantage for the kids since the teachers spend too much time. They make the kid smile and they took a picture and that is all. You never know how the kid is doing afterwards. Whenever I drop him the teachers were not saying good morning, they are usually talking with each other about their nights etc. They never picked my son up from me to calm him down, they never smile or show any attention to him. I checked on him starting from the first day and I found him crying on a bouncer facing to the door. I was horrified and because I couldn't find any other daycare I couldn't drop him off but checked him everyday regularly. Because I was going there everyday I noticed that they are very cold to the kids (except 1 teacher who could not do much by herself). The kids can not sleep because of the artificial lights, they don't dim the lights. No natural light for the kids all day. The buggy ride is happened mostly inside the building. They called me about his fever, I went there with a panic and find out he doesn't have a fever and went to his doctor for nothing, the doctor also told me there is no fever. It happened couple of times and I did use my own thermometer to compare with theirs. If the teacher could be relieved or if there isn't enough teacher they do that. I had more unbelievable experiences with this daycare. I don't recommend this daycare since the child needs attention and love more than anything.
