Though I explained in two long conversations that both parents have custody, and both need equal access, they refused to provide it. This is simply unworkable for parents who, for whatever reason, are unable to communicate with each other, or do not agree about their children's health conditions. Because they would not give both custodial parents equal access to the chart, we will not be going with this practice.

I ultimately chose this practice due to the quality of the providers, availability of providers after hours and and the accessibility of same-day appointments. They seem to have everything worked out with regards to getting patients in and out during covid. When you arrive you call the front desk and they escort you back straight to your room. So there's no waiting around in the waiting room. I look forward to things going back to normal in the future so my partner can go to appointments with me. So far all the staff including doctors, nurses and NPs have been very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they had auto scheduled the first Six appointments for me. I did end up having to reschedule a few.

She goes above and beyond to care for her patients, always considering the entire portrait of health and not just prescribing this or that just get you on your way. She's personable, kind, sincere, considerate and well I absolutely love her! Her office staff and policies are a bit of a turn off, fees to fill out just about any piece of paper, no faxing or emailing important docs you might need, inconvenient hours for working parents, and they are not yet setup to use credit cards. Other than those issues, I have no grievances and will continue using her practice for my son as well as our future children.

He is so measured and kind with an encyclopedic knowledge of pediatric medicine. It was during a routine appointment with our daughter that he mentioned something we hadn't encountered in our first-time-parents' research. He told us about the prevalence of febrile seizures and what to do if we encountered such an experience with our kids. His soothing voice entered our ears a year later when our daughter suddenly had a febrile seizure. The experience would be terrifying if it were not for Dr. Garcia's thoughtful explanation/preparation of such an event. We followed his sage advice and were able to stabilize our daughter before the paramedics arrived. This is one of countless times that Dr. Garcia has been our guiding light in all things medical.
