My son reached out to Brightstar to help us with my wife's care needs. I have been the main person taking care of her but need some additional help. I am a professor and had to stop teaching to take care of my wife. The owner Rampi and nurse Kayla at Brightstar came and met with my wife and I. Brightstar was right on time for their visit which impressed me as I also met with another agency but their person was 20 minutes late. That person also said they had concerns about helping us because we had a cat. The Mary and Asia from Brightstar have been wonderful and very caring to Brenda. It was hard for Brenda to have someone come to our home and help her with her personal care needs. We were introduced to Brightstar when a tv commercial popped up on our tv. My mom was in the hospital and they wanted to discharge her to a nursing home. There was no way we would let her go to a nursing home with all that had been going on. We called brightstar and I was transferred to the owner. She was really nice and patient as I explained what was going on with my mom and talked with me for over 45 minutes. She was very informative and explained what options we had available to us. She told me she has been working this field for a long time which was so comforting to find out. Did a mention all of this with my mom was happening while I was out of town? Brightstar got around the clock care started and a nurse out to evaluate my mom immediately. They did such a great job getting care started. It's tough when you are an only child and trying to manage this kind of stuff by yourself. I would definitely recommend their services to families in a tough spot and looking for help. read more

BrightStar Charlotte is a wonderful team of professionals. I don't call them nurses they are God sent angels in time of need. I requested for their services for my mom giving them a very short notice because we really needed good caregivers to care of my mom and within two days or less they had shift caregivers around to make room for our family and meet our needs. Their caregivers were so patient and so caring and they took such great care of my mom. I will never forget that because I called on them in dire need and they didn't turn me away with excuses. They assured me they will help and they did a superb job for our family and I'm forever grateful. Their office staff is also very courteous and very attentive to clients needs and there is always someone on staff to talk to 24/7 when you have any questions. I had Bright Star in my home to assign my late husband's care. Everyone assigned to us was professional and performed their duties well. However, my main 3 ladies were exceptional not only professional but also very caring providers. It was evident that their hearts were in their work and with us. The owner Rampi and staff at Brightstar and their home care personnel do what they say they will do. They are totally professional. I needed help in a semi-emergency long distance situation during the Christmas holiday season with snow and ice on the roads. Within a couple of days, an interview was set up, then a schedule to provide help to my son. As our family flew in and out to help the my son, Brightstar adjusted their schedule as we followed their plan. I have been using Brightstar for 3 years after my daughter asked them to meet with me. At first they sent just nurses to help me with my medication and now I also have some caregivers helping me too. The girls that are sent out to take care of me are really nice. They take good care of me. They offer companionship and are pleasant to talk to. I can tell they really care about me. We all joke around and get along. The girls also help me with my shower and help clean my house. They allow me to continue to live in my apartment by myself. We contacted BrightStar when our family was crisis. Rampi and her nurse came out to see us the same day. They helped explain how they could help and we set up a plan for my mother.
