Every member of staff and administration working at MSSC is required to attend a cpr and first aid certification course. They are trained to handle situations such as this by a certified fireman from Kent, Wa. They probably didn't call you because they had the situation under control. For example. If a child attending that school falls and receives a bloody nose, a wound on their forehead, and yes, even a bump, the situation would probably be handled by assessing the severity of the wound, cleaning the wound, and getting the bleeding to stop. the child would be given ice, neosporin, and possibly even a bandaid. If deemed fit, they would contact the parent or guardian, and possibly even an EMT. I am not capable of speaking on behalf of the administration nor the faculty members of this school. I can however, speak as a former student. I have never met teachers nor caretakers who appreciate the ones they watch over as much as the men and women who work at this school. They care about the safety and general welfare of every individual child they are in charge of. If you were to attend a graduation ceremony, you would see pride hidden behind each tear filled smiling face as the teachers watch their students embark on a new journey. Not one student is over looked. Not one single one. They are far from irresponsible I assure you. The safety standards of this school can only be met by perhaps house rules and guidelines placed by loving and seemingly paranoid parental guardians such as yourself. If the administrator of this wonderful school has trusted them, I personally would never hesitate to leave a child of mine in their caring and more than capable hands. Our kids (3 and 5) have gone here since they were both 1. We absolutely love this school. It has undergone an ownership transition in the past two years, which obviously caused some changes. However, we love the new direction. Our kids (and most of the other students/parents I interact with), adore this place. They have so many fun activities and programming in place (this Summer has a farm theme which means tractor visits, student gardening, cleaning and snacking on raw corn, animal visits, etc.). Our kids especially love the water play Fridays where the students get to play in sprinklers and water tables. The kids at all grade level also spend so much time outside - rain or shine. They get to exercise their bodies and their minds. Not to forget the best part: The teachers. We love our kids' teachers. They seem happy to be there and happy to instruct our children. The teachers helped us potty train both of our sons, in addition to teaching them how to write, cut paper, clean up, and be helpful collaborative young people. One of the best things is that, although my boys don't always want to get ready and leave the house in the morning, I usually have to drag them away from school (especially my older son in the kindergarten elementary program). WOW!! After two really bad experiences with childcare facilities, I truly feel so lucky to have found this place. My daughter LOVES it here. She adores her teachers and has learned so much. At 2, she is nearly potty trained, learning sounds of the alphabet, knows all of her shapes and can count to 20. So much learning happening, this is a legit preschool. They do Spanish classes, yoga classes, music classes and more. I don't feel like I'm just dropping her off in a room to be babysat. She is in a legit classroom setting with teachers who sincerely care and enjoy their jobs. Most importantly to me, I feel so SAFE leaving her here. After a really terrible experience elsewhere, this is place is a true peace of mind. There is a gate at the front that does not allow for strangers to enter as well. Being a full time working mom who works 50 hour weeks, it is just a relief to drop my daughter off into the hands of people who really care about my daughter. I had been attending the school for most of my life. its a terrible school they teach you the same stuff over and over again. a lot of the teacher are verbally aggressive and they yell a lot the teacher are often very fake when parents come to visit they are caring and talk very nicely but the second the parents leave they start yelling. i really did not enjoy my time in this school it was the hell of my life and i would not recommend it, it is so over priced for what they are "trying" to teach. one of the teacher there named Troy Gunnell is both verbally and physically aggressive he has garbed kids by their shirts and often yells a lot for no reason. i get that you need students to be productive but yelling really isn't the way when i attended the school him yelling was more of an inside joke then anything all though no matter what teacher should not get physical with students and he does a lot. again i would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!! read more

We have been at MSSC since September 2024 and it has been a perfect fit for our family! We have two kiddos ages 2 and 4 love the school and the teachers. The staff are super communicative through their app which as a parent I love. We get daily photos and notes about what's going on at school. Every teacher is incredibly kind and caring towards our two kiddos and they love going to school. The kids have several large area to play outside that are well secured and always feels incredibly safe. They spend lots of time playing and learning outside. Inside the classrooms are large, clean, and well organized. Toys and materials are changed frequently to keep kids engaged and according with the theme or topic of the month. Would absolutely recommend MSSC for anyone looking for great care for their kids! read more

My daughter was in daycare here for 6 months, beginning at 8 months of age. Our family had a wonderful experience at MSSC. The teachers were warm, calm, and professional. We felt perfectly safe with her in their care and appreciated the family-like environment they created. They honored any special requests related to her care and the routines we had prior to beginning daycare. Her development was nurtured and new skills were taught or reinforced. We especially noticed big advancements in her language acquisition and positive attachments to other adults and children. The director Mrs. Gunnell was kind, flexible, and easy to communicate with. MSSC is wonderful! Our son has attended for almost three years (starting at 4-months-old), and we feel grateful to have found this school. The staff has been incredible, so caring and supportive, and have fostered a deep love of learning in our son. We love MSSC!! Child joined back in May after being in a small in home daycare for 2 years. Staff made the transition as smooth as possible. We started in the transition room and moved to pre-elementary and both have had amazing teachers! Office staff is super responsive and accommodating. If you like having your kids physically and mentally abused then this is the school for you! But jokes aside you'd have better luck with some other school. One of the teachers, who I shall not name for their privacy, yells at the students a lot, and occasionally grabs the younger children. Overall I wouldn't recommend this school to any one. read more

This place is a horrible place to have your kids learn. The math teacher choke-slamed my friend into a table for tapping on his my shoulder to get his attention. Needless to say he went home that night with brusies on his neck and a knot on the back of his head. This school will literally scar your child for life. read more
