Marlenes messaged me that they had some and that they were half price. I went the next day and purchased 3 of them asking with some Boston Ferns. They were all lovely and on sale. They were a very friendly and helpful mother and daughter. I appreciated whomever contacted me about the ferns and enjoyed my visit with them. They definitely will be my first place to go next year for flowers or ferns.

They have brown, red and black in color for mulch. You can get a tracker scoop of the mulch for $20. We got 3 scoops to start with, but had to come back for one more scoop. Marlene's has four large greenhouses, each full of different flowers and plants. They also have a bunch of different concrete yard decorations if that's your thing. They've got a variety of vegetable plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. The staff here are friendly. One of my issues is that they accept credit cards but they have a sign on the cash register that states they would rather you use cash or check because the credit card fees are high. I understand that they're small business, but if you take cards, you shouldn't guilt people into not using it. I think they should just stick to cash/check and be done with it. I doubt any of the customers would care.

This place is GREAT!! There are maybe 4 or 5 large green houses, each with different types of flora, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, indoor plants, trees and more, not to mention all of the trees, bushes, planting materials, landscaping materials, etc. I was on a hunt for some random flowers and some very specific berry trees and after asking for some help since I am VERY uneducated as to what to plant in the land of fertile soil and green grass, they were more than able to accommodate me with. Not only did I get some great help but I was well educated on the topic of growing berries and was actually talked out of buying my blueberry bushes...WAIT...they talked me out of spending $$ there?? How cool is that!! The reason being is because *take note here* blueberries need 2 different varieties in order to allow for cross-pollination. Huh!! Cool info!! I ended up not purchasing because 2 plants were pretty pricey. Next pay day. Any who...I was impressed with the fact that I wasn't being talked into anything! The reason I gave it a 4 is because the prices are a bit high for what I am used to but it certainly won't stop me from returning. Great place!!

Beware of staff being dishonest about their willingness to stand behind the inventory sold…read more Seriously, read the fine print on the receipt and do not take anyone at their word (although this is a family owned business), because they do not make good on their promises or even meet you in the middle when literally HALF of their $80 shrubs are cared for as instructed and still die. Rather than sympathizing with and trying to find a fair solution for all parties, they will accuse you, the customer, of trying to rip off their business. They believe that hard working people who make an honest living spend their time and thousands upon thousands of dollars landscaping, just to neglect the shrubs and watch them die, all because their goal is to cheat the business out of money. Ha! There are plenty of reputable business in the Owensboro with a beautiful variety of trees and shrubs for sale. Trust Integrity Nursery or G&G with your landscaping needs- you won't be disappointed (or end up with dead shrubs which are not backed by the implied warranty)... :)

Amber at Snow's helped me tremendously when I found myself in a last minute bind…read more I needed to purchase a tree, to be planted in the future, as a sympathy gift. The task fell to me at the last minute and I called somewhere local to where the tree was to be delivered and installed. Unable to help me, I reached out to Snow's. Amber was incredible. She walked me through the entire princess and she made my last minute need a priority without making me feel small. She exceeded my expectations by emailing me a very professional letter/certificate that I was able to print off and present as my gift. It was so thoughtfully put together with instructions on how to reach Snow's when they were ready for the tree, a genuine message of sympathy, and a picture of the actual tree that is living in the ground at Snow's and waiting to be installed at my aunt and uncle's in memory of my beloved cousin, gone too soon. He discussed why he thought a particular tree would be good and we decided on one that he marked. It would not be planted until the spring, and it was fall now.
