Applying strict rules to everything restricts kids imagination but that doesn't mean that they are not given structure. As far as I've seen, they keep the kids active during the summer, and whenever weather permits during the winter. I like that they don't have TV and their playground is great. They are right across from a park so they go there during the summer sometimes. The only thing Im not too happy about is when I've called to let them know about something, I feel like i'm always rushed by the person at the other end.

After I was invited to come to West Des Moines Christian Church, I went to the early service a couple of times and immediately realized that I couldn't wait to come back. It's a welcoming congregation and the pastors are all amazing. Seriously, this was so unexpected! It's what a church should be. I'll admit that I joined the church 6 months after I began attending. The outreach services and activities are endless. There is something for everyone: sports leagues, bible study, food pantries, mission trips, VBS, and so much more. It's awesome.
