I would not advise anyone to buy any shrubs from this unethical company! I ordered two 1 gal Nandina Fire power shrubs received the wrong size, took 9 days to receive them dried leaves pitiful small plants ( 4" to 5 " tall at best ) and paid premium price! On the ad it only showed big shrubs already grown not in the pot stated they were 1 gal which if they had been 1 gal the price would have been fair. Customer service was horrible just kept telling me to plant them and they would grow! My flower bed has mature shrubs and plant can you imagine planting something tjat small how stupid it would look. My final Word is do not BUY FROM Brighter BLOOMS!!!!! read more

Garbage, garbage, garbage. Shipped two trees in a box for 10 days. Very unhealthy looking. Most of the leaves fell of one when I took it out of the box exposing mostly bare branches. The rootball was mostly dry. I contacted them and they said because it was alive, it was a "quality" tree. See the fake language on their website in the photos below. Disappointed with quality, shipping timing, and unreachable customer support I ordered a Flame Thrower Redbud from Brighter Blooms in spring. It was backordered and I was told to expect shipping in September, but it arrived in July -- the hottest and worst time to plant in my Zone 7 area. The tree is technically 3-4 ft as described and alive, but it arrived looking flimsy, with wilted and dropping leaves. The shipping box was crushed on one side. The worst part: I couldn't reach anyone. Emails bounced, and the toll-free number connected to a medical device ad. I eventually received an acknowledgment, but the whole experience has been frustrating and left me feeling scammed for the price I paid. I hope the tree survives, but based on quality and service, I wouldn't recommend ordering from Brighter Blooms. read more

I would never order from Brighter Blooms Nursery again. The plants arrived in terrible condition--wilted, weak, and nothing like the photos on their website. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when I reached out for a resolution, making me feel like they simply didn't care once they had my money. Three strikes and you're out! I ordered three trees from this company (AKA Fast Growing Trees) and none of them made it. The first one never came out of dormancy in the spring. The second one died the first season and the third limped along throughout the summer and never came back in the spring. I followed all instructions with planting, fertilizing and watering with no success. I did buy a one year warranty for the third tree but unfortunately, I ordered it in the spring and when I realized that it wasn't going to bloom the following spring, it was too late to file a claim. I now have a thriving tree which I purchased at a local nursery and I'm sorry that I didn't take that route from the beginning. I feel like I wasted three years of establishing a healthy tree in my front yard. read more

I got my christmas tree from this place which is at 2621 Old Nation Rd and it was delivered, dropped off with no knock or ring of the doorbell. When I opened the box and got the tree unroped it was terribly bare. For the price they charge they should not be sending trees in this shape at all. You don't get a 2nd chance to ruin Christmas. read more

READ THE FINE PRINT! If your tree arrives basically dead, as mine did, you have only 30 days to contact and request a replacement. You won't even know if the tree is alive yet, but you must act now and fast. Of course they will "sell" you a warranty to cover the time it may take for a live tree to sprout, but that is extra. The pricing was a bit better than my local nursery, but by the time you add in the relative charges, I will never order trees online again. read more

Its impossible to get in touch with these people after you place order. I have waited on hold for hours, literally. I have asked for call back, I've waited days for that. So, either these people are incompetent or dishonest. Either way I don't recommend ordering from them. I guess common sense should have warned me against trying to ship "live" trees across country in a box. Of the three trees I ordered, two came back OK, but I failed to contact Fast-Growing-Trees.com (Brighter Blooms) within their allowed timeframe. Who knew I was wasting $70, when I could have bought the same tree from a local supplier for $100 and known it was alive, fully leafed, and well. Lesson learned. Had ordered a couple plants previously, condition was poor (shothole fungus) but they seem to have recovered. However, was excited to get a flyer offering 15% off plus free shipping on new orders. Shipping is not cheap! However, when I tried to order some new plants, turns out the free shipping is only for orders over $149 - not mentioned on the flyer. Oh my what a rip off. I ordered two avocado trees and one arrived very droopy but I did not worry because of the 30 day warranty. Well a week later all the leaves were dead brown but Brighter Blooms refused to honor the warranty so I wasted $80 on a dead tree. They even offered to reinstate my warranty for $45 but that felt like extortion and I wouldn't give a nickel to a company I cannot trust. Don't patronize companies that rip off consumers. Ordered 3 trees. One of the trees showed up snapped in half. Made the call and it was replaced within a week or so...all good right?! No. Planted all 3 trees exactly as outlined in the instructions and all 3 dead and completely dried out within weeks. Call back and i'm instructed that i didn't pay $75 for the warranty. Its a scam to get everyone to buy a warranty. I'd not recommend you buy from these people at all. Waste of money and subpar products! Attempts to resolve are now being ignored. read more

They mail ordered me dead plants. When I sent photos of the dead plants and asked for a refund they suggested I take three weeks to perform a miraculous resurrection and then maybe get in touch again after they have enjoyed laughing all the way to the bank. Very disreputable business. read more
