Unfortunately, I found out without notice that the office closed. It happened after a tooth broke off after a root canal. I had prepaid for the dental treatment plan and now I am owed $900 in treatment that was never completed, after numerous attempts, I can get a response from the corporate office. I was charged by Brighter Dental Care (Flemington) for a covered procedure performed in 2020. I was initially informed by the office manager of the dental office that once my dental insurance provider - Metlife - issued the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), I would be refunded. The Explanation of Benefits was issued but I was never refunded. I have reached out to the dental office 10+ times (I have cell phone records as proof) and still have been unable to obtain a refund. Brighter Dental Care owes me $746.60. Made an appointment 7 months out, got there 10 minutes late and they told me I had to reschedule

I left using this practice. I had crown work done which ended up being one of the most painful experiences I have ever had, but that is not my reason for discontinuing using their practice. The crown fell out in about two years, I called to make an appointment. I asked the office manager if there would be a charge to recement it and I was told no. As I left the girl at the counter said that will be $175. They seemed to have amnesia. It happened again after another year. Again I was clear in my inquiry about fees this time. Once again I was told no fee. I got to my appointment had a discussion chairside with the dentist, assistant, and one other person...they confirmed no fee. As I walked out I checked with the girl at the desk asking are we good? She replied, "we're good" and waved me out. I THEN GET A BILL FOR $115. Fearing if I did not pay they would send me to collection, I am paying it off very little, by little. I WILL NEVER NEVER GO BACK. Their philosophy in no way builds trust, and I guess the customer is never right. read more

This place is a financial mess, their billing department can't send a bill to the correct address if they were taken there and shown where I live. My bill said I was 120 days over due, when I called to straighten out the bill and pay it, I was talked rudely and belittled by a new office manager that wanted to charge me a 3% surcharge to PAY my bill with a credit card, to which as soon as I got off the phone I called the division of banking and insurance, and filed a case. Which is under investigation at this time. You don't got to Sears and charge something and get charged an extra 3% because you pay with a card. All of the dental work I've had done there has failed, fillings came out, a tooth they filled cracked, and a tooth that should have been pulled, the tooth basically fell apart and not I look like a damnJack-o'-lantern. I'm so angry that the won't see me to correct what they screwed up. I wouldn't even give them one star, but the hygienist was very nice and did a good job cleaning my teeth. The rest... Sucks. And now amount of ass kissing would ever get me back there. ! read more

Office staff and manager are rude. Make you sign a treatment plan, "estimating" insurance, than charge you MUCH more after the work is done. Had to go back to get filling fixed and they charged an office visit! In the span of a few months I went through 2 dentists because of the turnover in the practice. I've been coming to Brighter Dental for a few years now, ever since another dentist botched a root canal. They fixed that, Dr Enjati specifically was excellent, and I've found them to always be competent and to explain what they are doing and why. Two areas where they can improve are the number of postponed appointments (though I understand emergencies take priority) and the insurance side. I have found it necessary to get pre-certified for anything major in order to get the insurance dollar amount correct, without this it always seems that I'm paying as if I don't have insurance. However, that's a small price to pay for good dental care and you know you are covered that way. read more

Terrible with children. Dentist actually said to me that she wasn't good with children and should go somewhere else. Admittedly, one hygenist and the orthodontist and his nurse are really nice. Everyone else needs lessons in customer service. read more

Horrible. Went in for a broken tooth. Was told I would need a root canal and a crown, when there was no pain. Went to another dentist, and what had broken was aleady a crown. Brighter didn't even recognize this, or chose not to tell me. No root canal needed. Stay away. read more

5 stars. My teeth have never been cleaned so well! Lorell was the best hygienist I have ever had. Super job! The rest of the staff members were friendly and accommodating. My family has been going to Brighter Dental for years, even before it moved from Main St. I have seen many dentists at Brighter Dental and had a bunch of dental work done by many different dentists. I only once met one I didn't like so I didn't have the work done by him. Otherwise topnotch! Easy scheduling appointments and rarely wait. read more

Scheduling appointments is a nightmare at this practice. Two kids with braces and had to constantly take them out of school early and take time off from work to accommodate this doctor's schedule. If that is not bad enough, they constantly cancel appointments at the last minute and leave you scrambling. I would not recommend this practice. read more

Horrible... I went to Brighter Dental to have my front teeth fixed. Never was it explained to me the CONS of having caps put on my front teeth. I am continuing to have problems and am so frustrated that I put my trust in them. One of my caps keep coming loose and now I am afraid my only option is going to be a dental implant at over a $4000 cost. The other tooth they neglected to do a root canal prior to capping and 3 month after my permanent cap was put on I had to have this done. Little did I know that to do this they broke the cap and fixed it with filling. They shuffle you between dentists and no one explains anything in detail. I have now spent thousands of dollars to fix these teeth and have moved on to a different dentist read more

I had not been to the dentist in two years because I moved and I could not get to my old dentist. This is a dental group. They did their checkup and the first dentist was like the car salesman at a car dealership. He looked at my insurance which was excellent and this guy maximized the work he said I needed to match what he could get out of it. He wanted to redo all my fillings. Which I let them do and they did a crappy job. They are all ruff and annoying. They then said I need complete gum surgery. They sliced open my gums for a deep cleaning. I was in pain for a month after and they only did one side. I never went back for other side. I now have stuff getting stuck under my teeth all the time. I wish I could sue them. read more

Dr. Reilly is a great orthodontist. He is very nice and knowledgeable, is good with the kids and has done a great job on their teeth. In addition, the price is very affordable especially if you don't have insurance. He is only in the Flemington office 2 days a week but we have been able to schedule around it and it was a small price to pay for affordable braces with a very nice doctor. read more

If I could rate this place less than one star I would. Yesterday I had an accident and I broke off part of my front tooth, I called in a panic, and they said come right in. When I got there the dentist took an x-ray and came in two seconds later with a printed out estimate. She had planned to cap the tooth with a temporary, of course she couldn't do it then, she made a big deal about fitting me in between denture fittings on Friday at 2 o'clock, I had gone in with the broken tooth she didn't even talk about bonding it, I didn't even know they could do such a thing. So I left there devastated that she couldn't fix it until Friday afternoon. Did I mention she said to plan on waiting a really long time on Friday afternoon because they were fitting me in? Ridiculous. Thankfully I called another dentist that I had driven by in the past. They took me right away, they told me they would bond it right then and there and that a cap was the last thing to do at this point. Brighter dental never even mention bonding it. This isn't the first time they have come at me with a giant estimate, I've had one for three thousand for my whole mouth, my husband received one for 13,000, needless to say he has changed dentists already and the new dentist was shocked at the needless work they wanted to do. They have also traumatized my daughter on several occasions, shame on me for not changing sooner, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, all they do is give you estimates on work you don't need. Just for example, they told me my daughter had a cavity, it turned out all she needed was sealants. So the bill went from about $100-$14, beware, get a second opinion, I have seen or my family member has seen every doctor in this practice. They are all the same. It's awful that they are like this and I hope my review will help someone avoid the grief I have been through. read more

This place told me I needed work that cost 2X what my current dentist ended up doing, like $2200 vs $1000. I know others who've had the same thing happen to them there. I kept my 3 daughters there because they were somewhat used to them and its a hassle switching dentists with the insurance company, but just tried to make an appt. for my daughters to come in but apparently they have a "No more than 2 family members on the same day" policy, because they are concerned about 3 appt. being canceled at the same time? I'm a newly single dad who works in another state and needs to take a half a day off to bring them to the dentist. Told them I'd give them a deposit ahead of time if that was there concern, but they said I'd have to go through their corporate office. Actually, no I dont, because I'm finished with them. Cash Hungry Dental Factory.........Be warned, this is one of only a few REAL reviews. All of the other reviews are fake, read between the lines and you will see. (The user names and etiquette, all are completely fake, all 5 stars sure!) I've gone to good dentists, it wasn't until my insurance changed that I decided to go here. I will keep it simple: fake reviews, cleaning takes less than 10 minutes maybe, they up sell you services, tried to convince you to replace old fillings that are fine, care more about making appointments than keeping them, make you sign a piece of paper stating that you are going to get stuff done...probably scamming the insurance in the process as well. I brought my 2 daughters in ages 5 and 8 after our insurance changed and and our regular dentist was no longer part of our dental plan. They both had a positive experience with a dental hygienist. I called and made an appointment for a cleaning for myself but only received a consultation and X-rays. I had to make another appointment to come back which was inconvenient. They should be upfront about this policy. I saw a dentist and not a hygienist at my second appointment. She did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. The office is clean, the staff are friendly and it's conveniently located across from the hospital. read more

Great practice! My only negative is the high turnover of staff and doctors. It's not a big deal as they are all very professional and personable but I would prefer some consistency. Otherwise I highly recommend this group and location. read more
