My first appointment at Eastern Dental - Flemington was on July 17, my second appointment was this morning, and I can honestly say that each visit was a positive, cordial, professional and comfortable experience, from the receptionist, to the dentist seen, to the hygienist. I was seen on time, I had one cavity, that was attended to today, followed by a cleaning, I didn't feel any discomfort through either process. If your uncomfortable with dentistry, don't be, rather than avoid the dentist, which can adversely affect your health, because of fear, etc., you now have a reliable practice to consider and be in good care. Further, as a parent, now of adult children, whom I had dental care since kindergarten, I wouldn't hesitate bringing my children to Eastern Dental -Flemington to start them on a positive dental care journey. After searching for one year, I am extremely happy to have selected Eastern Dental- Flemington as my new dentist. I highly recommend them.

Once called back, it was like an assembly line....One person does the full panoramic x-ray (which was not working). Another person does the regular x-rays. The the dentist shows up and reviews the scans. He was in the office with me for less than 2 minutes. Then I was told that the cleaning is a separate appointment. In the past, I have always had a cleaning at the same appointment as the regular 6 month check up. Showed up 4 weeks later for the cleaning. It was very rushed , 15 minutes max, If you have a choice. DO NOT go to Eastern Dental.

During my cleaning, the dentist caused horrible pain to my teeth -- something I've never experienced before at any other office. That alone made me switch dentists. Even worse, my fiancée was in severe pain with her teeth, and the office would not see her for two weeks. They ignored how much pain she was in, and by the time they finally scheduled her, she ended up needing an emergency root canal on the spot. A month later, she experienced another awful toothache, and instead of seeing her, they just wanted to give her pain medication and delay treatment again. They didn't return her calls promptly, and when they finally did, they still scheduled her days out. We nearly went to the emergency room, but thankfully we found a new dentist who took her in immediately. It turned out her filling had broken, her tooth was decaying, and the infection had spread into her gum, cheek, and almost up to her nose. SHE HAD A SECOND EMERGENCY ROOT CANAL!!! That pain should never have been ignored. No dentist should ever refuse to treat a patient in that much pain. This office was dismissive, unresponsive, and neglectful. Stay away from this place!!!!

I had been frustrated by bad work from my childhood dentist. Many of the fillings fell out and remaining tooth material was not substantial enough to be repaired. A tooth cracked due to a bad root canal and allowed infection to decay the bone. I needed to go through a scaling, bone graft and implants. The work done at Bridgewater Dental Group is the highest quality and the least painless that I have experienced. The Novocain that they use is more powerful than any other dentist that I have been to and made me more comfortable. During a check up, the Hygienist made mention of my chipped front teeth. I told her that although I have seen much worse, I disliked the space between my teeth, the jagged edges and wanted to get veneers done but I heard they were very expensive. She mentioned that my dentist, Dr. Nadkarni has done the procedure many times and they could give me a price quote. As it turned out, my insurance paid a much larger portion than I expected and I had the doctor do them. I have been experiencing pain since September 2022 from a failing implant due to increased bone…read moreloss and gums becoming irritated. I was in search of a surgeon who would remove it and scheduled an appointment with Dr. O. (as the office staff refer to him). I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a professional in all of my 66 years of life on this earth! Every statement he made was a direct insult in response to my telling him that the bone loss was causing the implant failure. He told me 'you are just repeating what you heard. We all have bone loss. You have no idea why you are in pain and it shows a lack of intelligence for you to say you know what it is! It could be something else'. He was cold and callous and expressed no compassion for the fact that I have been experiencing intermittent pain for 10 months. I walked out of that office humiliated and dejected. I cried on my way to the car and needed 10 minutes before I could compose myself to drive home. I have since gone to a periodontist who told me the answer was simple. As I already knew, the implant needs to be removed and a bone graft done. I believe I was a victim of sexism and ageism by this 'so called professional'. Also, Jaret, his assistant who was very kind to me prior to the doctor arriving, just stood by and seemed unphased by his behavior. I have taken the time to write this as the public needs to know.
