I frequently inquired about how to cope with anxiety (which should not be hard to help someone with if you have a doctorate in psychology! Very much questioning the legitimacy of that), and he beat around the bush with every question I had. He would say things like "that's rough" and never gave me an actual answer. On top of that, Wellman and Associates promised only a $10 copay for therapy sessions, yet billed my insurance for psychiatric evaluation sessions, leaving me with $100 charges for every session! They did not disclose this service they said they would be providing yet they maliciously went behind my back to pocket insurance money for their benefit! When I tried to contacting them about this, I received no email response and no one answered the phone. Please do yourself a favor and skip this group - they're extremely fraudulent and your mental health is the very last thing they care about. Very malicious behavior!

She listens well and challenges me with genuine insight. Dr. Castillo works in both English and Spanish and also specializes in family counceling. To be honest, when I first began seeing her I was afraid that working with Spanish-speaking patients or families might be more important to her than working with me; but I have never found that to be the case. She has always treated me with the utmost compassion and respect, and I cannot imagine she would ever treat any of her patients differently. My experience working with Amanda Ferrari was overwhelmingly negative. After several months of therapy, I left feeling significantly worse than when I started. The experience had such a profound negative impact on my mental health, that after ending therapy with Amanda, I sought care from another therapist to help me process and recover from what I experienced during "treatment". I try to exercise care when writing reviews such as this one, but this is the type of therapist that you should avoid at all cost. She has, what I believe to be, a deeply rooted bias against men.
