The librarian was kind and enthusiastic about the program. The playground out in front looked wonderful with many children utilizing it. This is a bright, beautiful space offering so much besides the usual library things. It looked like there were a bunch of meeting rooms as well.

The library has a big selection of audio books and a good selection of DVDs too. In the non-fiction section, they have signs to point out where each collection starts. They also have a big selection of large print, and a big collection of test prep books and some job resource books too. I really like the nice displays that they have within the library and in the hallway too! Lots of places to sit and work within the library too.

I stopped here to check it out as part of the passport stamp collection the library is running. The passport stamp, which is every library is handing out a unique sticker and after visiting all 37 libraries in Erie County, and if you are the first 1,000, will receive a gold library card. It goes from May 1 through Aug. 31., 2026. I love that the local garden club made a little dish garden. It brightened up the space. I was there on a Tuesday close to 6pm, when they closed, but the library was bustling. It was great to see.

This library is right next to a Spot Coffee, so definitely a very plausible idea to grab a good book and walk next-door to enjoy a few pages over some joe. The library space is light-and-bright. It is a long, narrower space with computers and some seating down the middle. All of the usual sections you'd expect to find in a typical library are here, just with a smaller selection than the larger branches. Fiction, nonfiction, periodicals, children and YA, and a decent size set of shelves for DVDs/Bluerays; it's all here on a smaller scale. The Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System as a whole recently permanently waived hold fees. So if you're regularly near the Eggertsville-Snyder branch, keep in mind if they don't have what you want it is free to have it sent here on hold for you. I LOVE the holds service, and use it regularly and very reliably at a different branch. I'm sure it would be the same great service here. Our fam' are regular patrons at the public library. For starters, you can't beat free! Beyond that, our library system has such an excellent collection of any media we want or need. The Eggertsville-Snyder branch location is just another neighborhood option to be engaged with all of the wonderful things, both products and services, that our beloved library system has to offer.

What a good thought it was. They have a whole bunch of them here, maybe 10? The seating is comfortable is easy. Staff are super happy to explain the computer usage process. I did check out the rest of the library as well, and noticed they have a very nice large cookbook selection. They made it easy for me to pick up a new library card as well. Tons of easy parking here. Such a great little library. They had several activities for little kids to play and just be kids,…read morebeyond just the books. My kids were particularly fond of the wooden dollhouse and the play kitchen. Also available were computers with headphones. Many kids were taking advantage of these and playing games. We also saw a number of raffles going as an incentive to get the kids reading over the summer months. The standout observation I had about this place was how many books they had for sale! Quite a selection! We are in from out of town so that was a nice option to grab something for the kids for the road that we didn't have to worry about returning, and the prices were fair at .50 for most and 1.00 for kids hardcover. Definitely seemed like the selections were geared more towards a kids library.

There is a close by parking lot ( Sherman lot) , like 2-3 min walking . During busy hours it is really crowded. The computers are kinda old. Printing area is small but fast. They just have one bathroom for whole building ! So like if you want to use the bathroom you should go all the way to downstairs. In the basement there is no air, and the fans are really old. Third floor is good because has lots of light coming in and the colors make you calm and happy

There are always computers available, there's a little cafe, but it's hard to find a desk on the ground floor that has goo access to an outlet. The print room is hard to find, but this is definitely a good study location, which is what college libraries are mostly for, right? There's always an interesting display when you walk in and it's easy to walk around and learn a little about the human body. A pretty neat spot, though it does have a sparse and outdated feel. No rich mahogany or cathedral ceilings, but you won't find that anywhere at UB.
