I recently became aware of allegations describing potentially serious issues involving resident care, supervision, sanitation, medication practices, and staff conduct. The allegations include concerns that residents may be left in soiled diapers for extended periods, receive inadequate personal care, experience neglect, and may not be properly monitored for their safety and well-being. Additional allegations suggest possible inappropriate medication practices, including the use of medications in a manner that may unnecessarily sedate residents. Concerns have also been raised regarding staff professionalism, supervision, and overall compliance with standards expected in a long-term care facility. The reports further describe incidents involving resident safety, including claims of residents wandering away, escaping supervision, suffering injuries, and other preventable events. If true, these allegations would represent a significant risk to vulnerable elderly and disabled individuals who depend on facility staff for their daily care and protection. Residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and professionalism. I called and said "My Aunt is dying and I can't handle this, I need help" The hospice nurse said " I was just there this morning and she was fine" well, she was not fine. My best friend is a hospice nurse with another company. I video taped my Aunt and counted her breaths. My friend said she is dying. She said ask for morphine because they gave my Aunt nothing. Dying special needs and no meds. Unreal. Still being tube fed up until the end. A total heartbreaking nightmare for me. I was screaming, GET THE MORPHINE!!! Finally she got it, surprised I was not arrested. She got it and then passed away 15 minutes later. Total nightmare that haunts me. Never use Seasons hospice !!!!!

My 95 year old Mother was under Season's Hospice care for a year at an assisted living home the…read moreentire one year Covid-19 lockdown. I depended on them to give me a full report after each visit. I found out that one nurse who was supposed to visit face to face with Mom was actually calling the head nurse at the Home to get a report from her car, and would relay Mom's vitals to me like she was actually there. When I asked the nurse about something specific pertaining to Mom, she would quickly tell me she was doing fine and would change the subject. I found out from the Home admins she was not even going into my Mom's room. Well, my Mom passed away on March 8th 2021, and not one nurse came to visit her during the last week of her life. All they were doing was prescribing more and more morphine until Mom was a vegetable and hadn't been able to eat for four days before she cruelly died. The Home asked me if I would like to be Mom's care giver the final days and had I not been there to give Mom water and whisper support to her, she might have died sooner. For the last days of Mom's life, the Home acted as if their hands were tied being under Hospice care and Hospice acted as if Mom's final days were the Homes' responsibilities. Mom passed on March 8th and I have not received any condolences from any nurse that had visited her for the past year. The only person to call was Lynn, a social worker who has been monitoring my health and well being during since the start. Shame on you Season's Hospice for not caring about my Mom even in her final days under your care. You had no problem billing my Mom's Medicare for a year though. Andy Z.

I cannot say enough positive things about Eden House and the care my mother received there. My mom…read morelived at Eden House for 5 1/2 years. She had dementia and had previously resided at a higher-end memory care residence, a place that had a fancy physical look, design, and layout but did not serve her well; her care at that other facility was substandard and she suffered several unexplained injuries. We're so glad we found Eden House. The caregivers are all attentive and excellent. They made great efforts to keep my mom and the other residents comfortable and well-attended. As my mom became less and less mobile, she was at higher risk of developing a pressure sore and that eventually happened, which was not at all something Eden House could be faulted for. The amazing thing was that, through the great care Eden provided, it completely healed and never recurred. The caregiver-to-resident ratio is excellent. They prepare very good, nutritious meals. Eden House is extremely well managed. The home and rooms were always immaculate. We visited frequently and never observed any problems. Management and staff were always willing to communicate with us and kept us informed of any developments. The staff and management were always pleasant. They responded to all questions or concerns we had. It is clear they care a great deal for and about their residents. The physical location is great and the setting ideal, in a quiet residential community with a lovely yard and city park nearby.

We moved him to this facility after he broke his hip and he lived here for the remainder of his life (4 months) . During this time there would have been no better place for him. He was looked after by an extremely caring staff who tended to his well being with respect and excellent care. Some of the staff even spoke his native Italian with him and while in the very late stage of Alzheimer we still know by crooked smiles to the caregivers that he realized how they genuinely cared for him. If you are looking for a clean, excellently maintained facility with a caring staff and an owner who is an advocate for her residents, you will really want to check out Eden House. I would not hesitate to recommend the place. I know that from the clean facility, home cooked meals and best staff around Eden House was a blessing for my father and all of us.

I have learned so much working in the Memory Care. The staff is hardworking and very caring to the people living there. They recently hired a new director who has implemented some changes that have made the Memory Care a better run place. He has been able to give the caregivers information about Alzheimer's Disease in colored cards that detail the stages of disease, which can help make understanding how to take care of each individual with care. The facility is clean, and beautiful. I would recommend StoryPoint to anyone looking for a place for their family who needs memory care.
