I verbally COMPLAINED to the RN in charge of Rehab she needs to be on a Dash Diet in which I was told BEFORE she arrived that Excelcare would honor her diet which they did NOT listen! Also this Rehab did NOT give my mom a shower Mondays and Thursday even after complaining night after night!!!! "IF" I did NOT complain to the RN in person, this Rehab would NOT have given my mom one, UNACCEPTABLE!!! You need to provide your own camera! You will be amazed at the care your loved one is receiving. The food was of poor quality. After 8 days I had to transfer my mom elsewhere! Carina Mistrette

My father was a resident there for about four years. Although he was never happy at this facility, I could not talk him into moving until recently. When he finally moved, the meals he received was greatly improved, the care he received was so much better, and all services were performed to an exceptional level compared to Emeritus at Wayne. I only experienced the facility in Wayne, but it seemed as the conditions there were a result of the way the entire corporation is run. The staff at the Wayne facility was constantly changing, some of which was due, in my opinion,to the working conditions. I was told of many cases where the Aides were made to work extra hours for insufficient pay. One star is too good for this place.

She lived in a large studio apartment that was great for her. She was able to keep her beloved dog, Nelson, at the assisted BWL at Mahwah. That was a great comfort. My mother was also on a lot of medications and the wellness center was able to manage her medications perfectly. The senior administrator, Mariolla. was so helpful to our family during my mom's stay at Brandywine as well as when I had to clean out the apartment due to my mother's passing. Everyone went out of their way to make sure they were comfortable and happy. They were treated with the respect and dignity they deserved right up until they passed. We never had to worry about our Moms safety and well being. Not only did they look after our Moms, they looked after us as well. We will be eternally grateful to Brandywine for their compassion during these difficult times.
