Absolutely horrible. The staff was immature and unprofessional. The staff and dentist were so young and appeared to be inexperienced.

Dr. Schwartz is by far THE greatest dentist I've ever been to. Not only is he knowledgeable and…read moreextremely friendly, but he does everything he can to make your experience as comfortable as possible. I came in terrified when I had seen a dark spot on one of my molars, but he thoroughly explained the problem and was incredibly sensitive and thoughtful when addressing my concerns. His bedside manner and professionalism were truly superb and he did an excellent job fixing my tooth, it looks so good now! Thank you Dr. Schwartz!!!

I had high hopes for Dr. Scott Schwartz because he seemed very professional, kind, and personable…read more My husband recommended him and took me to his office after I broke a crown and developed pain in another tooth. After taking X-rays and examining my mouth, Dr. Schwartz found several other cavities. I appreciated the thorough examination. However, I explained very clearly that, due to my financial situation, I only wanted to address my two urgent problems: my broken crown and the tooth that was causing me pain. I planned to take care of the other issues later when I could afford them. Unfortunately, I felt that my wishes were not respected. The day I came in for my dental cleaning with Renata, who was absolutely wonderful and very kind, I wasn't sure whether I would feel well enough to begin dental treatment afterward. When I scheduled my cleaning, I had explained that I would decide that day depending on how I felt. However, I was told by the receptionist that if I didn't start treatment that same day, I would have to pay a significant portion of the fee again because my appointment couldn't be changed. I felt pressured into proceeding, even though I wasn't comfortable. The most upsetting part happened when Dr. Schwartz numbed a tooth that wasn't bothering me and prepared to begin treatment there instead of on the tooth that was actually causing me pain. I stopped him and asked, "Why are you working on this tooth? I specifically asked you to treat the painful tooth first." I had made my priorities very clear from the beginning, yet I felt they were ignored. Instead of listening to what I wanted and what I could afford, I felt the treatment plan was driven by what the office preferred rather than by my immediate needs. I left the office heartbroken, disappointed, and upset. My mouth was numb from the injection, and I could barely speak. More than anything, I felt unheard. Every patient deserves to have their concerns listened to and their treatment priorities respected, especially when financial limitations are clearly communicated. While I found the staff member Renata to be exceptional, my overall experience with Dr. Schwartz left me feeling that my wishes were not respected, and because of that, I cannot recommend him based on my personal experience.

Today was the follow up appointment for the root canal I had last month…read more I arrived earlier than my appointed time. Last time the GPS sent me to the wrong end of Fox St; and kept rerouting me back to the same spot. Today the GPS did it's job. The front desk staff informed Dr. Blondin that I was here; and almost immediately I was ushered into an exam room. His assistant had me in two bibs to protect my clothes, asked if I wanted music, I thought I was on a cruise ship. Every knob, handle, wire, instrument in the room was covered with plastic. The Zeiss microscope was in its own sealed plastic bag. Dr. Blondin was in shortly. He explained what was going to happen today in his cheerful and reassuring voice. After a local analgesic; the work began. A dental dam was applied, then the drilling began. All the while the doctor was letting me know what was going on during the procedure. A few X-rays latter I was almost done. The X-rays showed the true picture of the bicuspid and the repair done. I'm way past the age of being in awe of anything. This endodontist office leaves me awestruck. Everyone does their job with precision and acumen. If you need a great endodontist - This is the place to go to first. What's that old saying? "you've seen the rest; now see the best". I'm paraphrasing.

The endodontist here is downright rude and has absolutely no bedside manner. I came in for an…read moreevaluation for a root canal and was visibly nervous -- shaking, anxious, and walking with a cane. I clearly expressed my anxiety and asked about sedation or gas because I believed a root canal was oral surgery. Her response was dismissive: she said it's "only given to patients with anxiety," while I was near tears and nauseous from anxiety. When I stated I was feeling anxiety and would pay for the sedation, she said they weren't equipped and didn't have it. During the numbing process, she was hurting me and repeatedly misrepresented what I was saying. I was trying to explain that the area was not numb enough to proceed because I could still feel sensation when my tongue touched the area -- not that my tongue itself wasn't numb. Instead of listening, she snapped at me and said, "You're so sensitive!" Yes -- I was anxious, in pain, and scared. That's the point. She also repeatedly made me stand to rinse and spit, which might be fine for most patients, but I was walking with a cane. Bending over a small sink was difficult and slow, yet she showed zero patience. At one point, while I was rinsing, she looked at me with visible disgust and said in a malicious, condescending tone, "You can use the napkins, you know -- they're right there." I was humiliated. She lectured me for being "uninformed," and when I tried to explain my misunderstanding, she became even more hostile. She kept starting and stopping the procedure, repeatedly asking in a threatening tone, "Do you want me to do this or not?" By then, my anxiety had been completely escalated by her, and I no longer trusted her to work on me. I left with a partially numb mouth. I immediately found another endodontist who was kind, professional, and was also a lot more thorough. I also contacted the dentist who referred me to her. I made it clear that she threw him under the bus regarding the filling that caused the nerve inflammation, and that her behavior was rude, unkind, and condescending. I also told her directly that part of her job is to guide and calm patients -- not belittle, intimidate, and escalate fear. This woman should not be working with patients. She is cold, abrasive, and completely lacking compassion. I genuinely don't know how the other two lovely women in the office tolerate her miserable demeanor. Avoid at all costs.
