I'm 4 months pregnant and had done extensive dental work in preparation for this pregnancy - an extra cleaning; a scaling; two teeth pulled for a cracked tooth and a failing root canal that couldn't support dental surgery; implant posts drilled; and a root canal (decided to wait to crown the implants post baby) - most done with gas and plenty of novocaine due to a dental phobia that started after a dentist damaged my trigeminal nerve during a botched novocaine injection. So I was extremely disappointed and stressed about a possible infection that would require painful remediation/antibiotics/pulling/who knows what/etc. and that may also be potentially affecting the baby negatively (I've spent my share of time on Pub Med meditating over all the research on how insidious and damaging dental infections are to a developing fetus). But after all that prep, last week, the root canal molar that was done just 5 months ago started to hurt and Dr. Park was able to diagnose the problem (the crown wasn't fit properly which lead to bacteria being able to get into the gumline and cause a gum infection - see X-ray I attached if you are into teeth!), propose a solution (go to a referred dentist - Dr.Jeff Suh, who also has stellar reviews, also in Scarsdale) for a new temporary crown which will then be replaced by Dr. Park during a full root canal restoration following the baby's birth so as to avoid the extra x-rays and stress of doing the full restoration now while still pregnant (plus, I would need gas due to my dental anxiety for the long full restoration procedure and I certainly can't do that whilst pregnant). I just found Dr. Park to be the most thorough, comprehensive dentists I've ever been to - he took time to go over every nuance of the issue, walking me through the anatomy, the issues with the crown, all my options, etc. - all while on an already fully booked busy schedule. I was so grateful. His demeanor has earned my trust and respect and I'm so pleased that I've found a new endodontist! The office is new and each exam room has the latest equipment and is bright, clean, and sunny. The receptionists are super upbeat and friendly, and the dental assistants are also cheerful and very efficient, as well. Don't hesitate to book a visit!!

1 star for sure when dr zedeker was there it was very…read morepleasant atmosphere and the people working there all seem to love their job .Dr zedeker was such a sweet man & had a lot of experience now the new Ashford dental is probably one of the worst places you could go. The dentist that I saw seemed like she had just gotten out of school and told me that the reason my tooth that I had intense pain, was caused by my fibromyalgia! Totally incompetent I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and it turns out that a crown had a cavity underneath the crown that had recently put in . I think that pretty much sums it up I couldn't recommend that place to anybody. Without a doubt don't go there.

The two techs?! *chefs kiss*. My girl, I think her name was, Jasmine, was a god send and kept chatting with me. The other tech was just as amazing! I just don't remember her name. Dr. Lee was AMAZING. He understood that I have major medical anxiety. I asked him to just talk through each step and he did. This really helped calm my nerves. In trying to make an appointment, Vanessa, the office staff, was extremely rude and totally unprofessional. How is there a note on all of 4 of our records stating we have been dismissed due to a rude encounter!? We haven't been in the office since COVID and she refused to let me speak to the doctor. Furthermore, she hung up the phone on me! This is discriminatory practice and totally unacceptable. We got "dismissed" for something we didn't do and Vanessa refused to explain what on earth she was referring to. I hope Dr. Kheir sees this and calls me. What a shame. Vanessa definitely has to go to customer service training because if she's the face of this office, they will continue to lose patients.

Be transparent about ALL possibilities before people commit. If I asked about wisdom tooth, they should have told me exactly what they stated in their reply. Pretty torn about this place. I called the day before I went in. I asked if they did wisdom teeth removal. They said yes. I then asked if they would be open on Friday because it was the day after Thanksgiving. They said yes. I was ecstatic. I go in on Friday, right when they open. The receptionist was nice. I was asked what I was in for. I explained my situation. They tell me the fees: 150 for consultation, 450 for the removal. They made me pay before the consultation and I inquired about having to pay beforehand and if the consultation was waived when the procedure is done and they mentioned there was a chance I could be referred to an oral surgeon. Immediately, I was annoyed because the lady did not tell me that over the phone. Also, I wondered if they would have told me that was a possibility if I HADN'T asked my question. It did FEEL like a cash grab. So, I then knew what this appointment was going to be like. I also read a review that said they don't do bottom wisdom teeth, which is what I had, so I was pretty certain what was going to transpire. We waited an hour before being called to the back. There was one 1 doctor and 1 tech. When I got in, the tech said they will do X-rays. He disappeared until she came in. She looked visibly confused as to why there were no x-rays, which was a fair thing to be confused about being that that was the first step. Took the pano x-ray, all to tell us ~I need an oral surgeon~. Literally, that process was 15-20 minutes. They referred me to a surgeon and gave me a prescription for ibuprofen but she also told me I could take whatever works for me. Now, let me be clear, I don't care that I need an oral surgeon. I am frustrated about the lack of transparency and effective communication. When I called, she should have told me that there is a large chance they won't do bottom wisdom teeth removals so I would need a surgeon. When I arrived, the receptionist should have immediately told me that I could be referred to an oral surgeon and not wait until I inquired about paying first/waived consultation. If this was communicated effectively, I would have had another appointment lined up for Monday with an oral surgeon. Instead, now I have to wait for Monday and my chances of getting an appointment ASAP have decreased. It was already passed 4, almost 5, on the Friday after Thanksgiving many places were closed or closing soon. Also, I overheard the receptionist mention they only take 4 insurances...??? Definitely inquire before going in there and wasting your time. It stinks because I had a friend use them and they gave a good recommendation. They had a top wisdom tooth removal which further reiterates the point of them not doing bottom wisdom teeth removal.
