Such a cute shop with many unique items that would be perfect for the home or as gifts for others…read more Much of the items found in the shop are not something I've seen before. It is very an Oregon shop with books on nature, Bigfoot, and cooking. There is a large selection of beautiful cards for all events. I will note for any with problems with string smells, they did have a very strong defuser going, so there was a strong scent in the whole shop. The only staff I saw was the ladies at the register, which makes sense since the walking area is enough for 1 or 2 people at a time and the shop was very full. Some of the items are priced very reasonable, and others are a bit higher than I would expect. So just make sure to check the prices to avoid a shock at the register. This cute shop is so worth the walk through and you may find the perfect gift for someone who has everything.

What a cute store and its both delightful and dangerous because of that. I had a hard time stopping myself from buying everything in sight . The shop features a curated collection of mountain rustic gifts--from Pendleton blankets and custom corn hole sets, to hand-carved clocks and Americana décor. It is warm and welcoming and everything is displayed beautifully. Every time I thought I was done looking, something else would catch my eye .The store tends to feel a little cramped up because of this as it was a challenge moving around without knocking something off or hitting another customer .

Like most millennials that have entered adulthood, I have very fond memories of going to…read moreblockbuster as a kid. It was our weekly tradition. I would save up my money for preowned movies, and video games. And it was always such a treat. Getting to see something new. I was definitely sad on blockbuster filed for bankruptcy and started closing locations. But I'm really glad there's one left on the planet. The location was easy to find, and there was a good but small parking lot. The staff was very pleasant to work with. I am sure they get tons of questions about how blockbuster is doing, how the store is holding up, etc. There was so much blockbuster type of merchandise, apparel, and gifts that it felt like it was its own souvenir store in addition to still offering movie rentals. Seeing the display of a late 80s early 90s living room, complete with couch, movie on VHS, Pokémon cards on the table, VHS covers, etc. really warmed my heart. I felt like it was a nine-year-old watching Dragon Ball Z in front of the Family TV again. There were plenty of displays for movie props, autographs, news covers about the store being the last on the planet. It was like a time capsule to cinema, life in the 80s and 90s, and today. Walking the aisles, definitely felt like I was back in blockbuster. For a moment, I felt like I was a kid again, looking for the perfect movie. Really glad this was here and that I got to go to Blockbuster in my adult life. Thanks for the memories!

You cannot be passing through Bend, and not stop here. This is an icon, the last blockbuster on the…read moreplanet. The place is a good size. The friendly lady I was chatting with was telling me that yes, they get people stopping in from *EVERYWHERE.*. They have it all. Blu-rays, and DVDs for sale, and of course, they have them for rent. The rental prices are very reasonable. New releases suspense, Comedy, drama, you name it, they probably have it. They even have sections dedicated toward certain stars, when I was there, they had a "John Candy section." The blockbuster.com webpage is back online, and I was asking the lady if she knew if Blockbuster was going to be making a comeback. She said she didn't know, but she made a good point. They should. Now, if you want to see a movie, there's no guarantee that the streaming service you subscribe to will have that movie. How many streaming services would you have to subscribe to? It would be so easy just to pop in and rent your movie again. You know what they say, everything old is new again. And of course, they have hoodies, sweatshirts, and T-shirts, including one that has the classic phrase, "be kind, rewind." What a fun store.

Mixed feelings about this place. Visited recently and found a wonderful lady at the checkout who…read morewas courteous, professional and patient when navigating the coupon discounts offered. Seems signing up for emails gets you 20% but they already offer 15% to anyone in store, but you cannot combine the two so that means you only got 5% for offering up your personal information and allowing them to pepper you with their marketing baloney. OK. At least the great lady at the checkout made up for that gaffe by corporate. Next, felt the general store quality had improved. Good. Wanted to buy more there but the prices were higher than elsewhere. Noted. Did find a few things. Next, tried to exchange a defective item (pillow) less than a week later. It developed a hole in a seam. Talked to a younger manager, who pushed a lot of questions at me suggesting it was my fault the seam had failed. NOT GOOD. Patiently endured her questions. Then she told me there could be no exchange without a receipt. Told her my charge would be in the system. Not good enough. (WHAT?) Offered to show her the charge recpt in my VISA app. Not good enough. Turns out the pillow I saw there during my original visit was too expensive anyway and I had decided to purchase elsewhere. I purchased it at Wal Mart, so I did not need to exchange it at World Market after all. OF COURSE WAL MART TOOK IT BACK ON EXCHANGE HAPPILY WITH NO QUESTIONS OR ISSUES - and it cost me half of what World Market wanted for the pillow!!! Word to the wise. Don't shop with World Market if they cannot support you after the sale, no matter how nice the sales clerks are at the time of purchase. Who needs the extra cost and hassle?
