I pored over the classic section nooks and left with Jane Eyre, Keats poetry, and vintage Shakespeare. I was blown away by the organization, by genre, sorted by author name. No problem, I thought, and went to another set. Same thing! Discovered he had done this to about ten sets of rosary beads. To the internet I went to find a Catholic book store and had trouble finding one near my home in Roseville. I prefer not to order these types of items online as I like to see and feel them first. I searched near my office in Auburn and was surprised to find Trinity Books and Gifts next to St. Josephs. I ran in to see what they had and left with three handcrafted, gorgeous sets of rosary beads and some beautiful sympathy cards for the family. I have been back several times since and purchased several gifts for my son and some prayer books for myself. They have a great selection of childrens items, statues, books, medals, necklaces, crucifixes, etc. as well. I will definitely be back.

There's a nice kids section with a large variety of books, stuffed animals, games, puzzles, educational kits, arts & crafts supplies, & toys. We recently got a science kit for the same price as a popular online source. It's hit or miss if we get offered help by a staffer on the floor who acknowledges us. When we've found someone, they've been helpful with looking up information for us. The most frustrating experience is the line. We've waited in long lines with sometimes only 1 or 2 staffers ringing up customers.

They always have present employees that are so kind and helpful. When you ask for a book not only do they show you where its at the make sure you are getting the exact book you asks for. At the registers they make sure you know about any and all promotions they have going just in case you wanted to jump in on any. Did you know that Barnes & Noble has so many games and puzzles and other fun gadgets? I for one didn't as I walked throughout the store I was blow away by see all this new stuff to me. If you are into coffee stop by Starbucks and read a book and enjoy your drink. Well next time here take a walk around the store and see all they have to offer. Think they have 7-10 sizes and the sounds are hauntingly cool. Whenever I'm at that mini-mall (used bookstore, Pachamama's Cafe, a hot dog grill, and more) I make a point of stopping in and ringing those bowls, hanging my head over them to feel the vibrational energy. OK I realize it kinda sounds weird. Just give it a try sometime and decide for yourself.
