First of all I didn't know this bar existed until I attended a dog rescue event. The beers are tasty and the best part is you can bring your dogs. Plenty of seating at the bar and tables. We had the back room for our event and it was great. You can bring in your own food. Plenty of seating if you wanted to host an event. Couches and Tv in there. First stop on a in prompted beer tour... and boy did it set the bar high for the day. This micro brewery located in Spencerport has plenty of parking being part of a plaza with other business. The brewery has a good sized tasting room with seating at the L shaped bar for about ten people, a few high top tables as well as a separate more relaxing room with a couch and very comfy chairs. (This is where our group hung out) Lot's of wood decor throughout the brewery, very cool use of growlers as light fixtures. Their family and dog friendly, water bowls and treats for the four legged friends and a small area for kids to play and color. Nice option for those who want to bring them along, but I prefer no distractions when out enjoying a cold brew. You order drinks or food (2 options, cheese balls or pretzels) at the bar. All beer options are listed out on planks of wood, with all the normal information. I went with the flight, 5 different beers at 5oz for $9. Smooth ordering process, they give you a laminated card to fill out with your choices... makes matching up to the numbers very easy. I went with the brindle hans IPA, 6.6% ABV.... Perfect amount of sweetness balances the hop bitterness ..this was my favorite selection. The german pilsner with 5.2% ABV, their house pilsner is good..similar to a bud light..nothing fancy but smooth. Zero gravity Pale Ale was delicious, smooth and flavorful. The good nature IPA .. boy I do love my IPA's! I could drink this all day! The last beer I tried was the Saison, a 6.0% ABV, to much citrus for me... I will be back for more of their IPA's! read more

Who knew this place even existed! Its nestled in to a strip mall next to the pool store/live Christmas tree selling lot in Spencerport. Its also next to a small liquor store if you feel like getting even "toastier" after you leave the micro-brew. Within the brewery you're greeted by brightly painted walls and rustic wood accents. Several high-tops for some group seating as well as a bar accommodating about 10 seats. You'll also likely see a dog in the brewing room! I assume he is friendly as there is a kids corner with chalk board wall. In the next room you will find another brightly colored green wall, in fact and its more like a living room. Its got a couch and some sitting chairs as well as a standing-counter. While they don't offer a kitchen, you can certainly buy some inexpensive cheese balls or pretzels from the bar. If you'r really into spending some dough, you can also purchase some swag from the swag wall. For my Gluten Free friends, they offer one Cider and some soda options. read more

We always try to stop in here on my way to visit my dad. You can bring your doggos in. They usually have a great tap list & cans for take away- sours, IPAs, stouts. For starters, you can bring your dogs (and children) My girl and I stop here when we're out this way because we usually travel with our two pups. They love to bark when they see a new dog & we've never had a bad experience with another guests dog or anyone sitting while the dogs are barking. It's like an added feature. We started with a flight- the two IPAs and the two sours with a fruited dark beer. Ima. Big IPA guy so she's trying to change my palet. Not working. We grabbed some house ipa cans to go which the usually have a great variety of flavors. You can purchase a 4 pack, a crowler or an individual can which is pretty cool. Finally, Spencerport has a great brewery! This is a fantastic space to enjoy time with friends, family, and it's dog friendly! The selection of beer changes with the seasons as everything is brewed on site. My favorites included the NYS chinook pale ale which was made with all fresh N hops and the winter ale was close runner up! A birthday party was happening in their extra room and outside food such as cakes and pizza were welcomed without an extra charge. If you are in the area, definitely stop by for a beer! read more

What's not to like about a place where you can bring your dog, or more importantly play with other people's dogs, and get a cider? Nothing. When I was a kid, this place was a doctor's office. The transformation makes it a way better place to go to. Brindle Haus has a great selection of beers, most of them are on the heavier side. I liked the West Coast DIPA. They also have a milk stout, porter, amber ale, and another IPA on tap. The inside is cozy, with lots of natural lighting, bar stoiols, high tops, and then a cozy side room with comfy furniture and brightly colored walls. They have a popcorn machine, snacks, and is dog friendly. Lastly, they seem to hold a lot of events, like sip and paint, or exercise classes that you drink beers afterwards. Parking can be tight, but there is always extra spots on the side of Fowler's. read more

Fabulous find! I've seen lots of people post pictures on Facebook of some of their beers at Brindle Haus and decided I needed to give it a try... We did two flights so that we could sample everything and we're not disappointed by anything. The bartender was great, super knowledgeable friendly helpful. They have socially distance seating inside as well as tall tops outside. Dogs are allowed. You really can't go wrong with the beer to pick up the bartender did say they are known for their German style beers. Can't wait to go back again. read more

Very comfortable main tasting room and a smaller lounge area. Up to 12 taps, theirs and a few others. Pretzel sticks, popcorn and cheeseballs available. Can order food and have it delivered to the tasting room, or bring your own. Beers was quite good, even though they say they'll still working on fine-tuning. Definitely worth an easy drive to Spencerport. There's also a small kids' area. Chalk and chalkboard, colouring books and supplies, and a TV streaming kids' shows/movies. read more

Met my mom for a beer & wow did I fall in love with this adorable place! Main attraction - the pups! It's on the other side of town and this was a spontaneous meet up so I did not have either of my dogs with me, but you can count on my bringing them once the weather gets nicer! The dogs were inside also, but as I write this it's a blizzard outside so not looking to drive in that anytime soon. They have small snacks for purchase but the BEER. The BEER is so good!! Their menu likely changes as most small breweries do but you can bet that no matter what there will be a beer on tap that will suit your taste! Stopped in for the 1st time on a Wednesday. What a bonus. Flights of 5 for $7 on Wednesday's! I would like to have given a 5-star rating but the beers lack a certain depth that other local breweries have. I also wished that the beers could have been a tad colder. They do, however, have a nice selection from which to choose and also have a cider on tap as well as some Finger Lakes wines. A refreshing new hangout spot in Spencerport! Bring the whole family! The brewery is dog-friendly and kid-friendly. There is a small area for the kids with a table, coloring books, crayons, and a television. There are also water bowls for your furry friend, and the owners gave my pup a treat when I was there. They offer a variety of different beers, which I hear are good. Brindle Haus brews some of their own beers, and then offer additional beers on tap from other breweries. Unfortunately, I can't drink beer. But, they do offer a cider option which changes occasionally. I believe they also have wine and sodas now. As for food, Brindle Haus does not make their own food (hence when they can allow dogs), but they do have soft pretzel sticks and cheeseballs. There is also a popcorn machine in the front corner, and customers can help themselves to the popcorn. The atmosphere is an industrial chic feel. The front has a large garage door, which I can only imagine will be an excellent addition once the summer finally rolls around! There is also a smaller room off the main room, where groups of people can gather. The overall feel of the place is very "chill." I would recommend. Stopped in to Brindle Haus this past Friday with some friends. I'd never even heard of this place because I don't normally venture out to Spencerport, but what a cool place it is! Doggos are allowed which is always a plus. I got a flight with the New England IPA, the normal IPA, the Oktoberfest, and the Habenero beer. All were great and I loved the style of the glasses. First time out, came to check out the sour patch kid sour, and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was neat, it is a dog friendly space, so that is interesting depending on the mix of dogs. Beer was good and they will can 32 ounces of your favorite beer for you to take home. Venue was nice and spacious. Bathrooms were clean. They don't serve much food outside of cheese balls and soft pretzel sticks but if you're really hungry, there is a Tim Hortons next door. it was a great place to stop and hang out and if we lived closer, we would stop by often. read more

You don't understand how excited I was when I found out there was a bar I could bring my dog into. I went from their food truck night and munched on some pizza logs while I hung out with my friends. My dog, Gryffin, enjoyed the attention and meeting new dogs. The bar also provided ciders from other companies. I want to go back to try more beers. Caveman bf took me here one Saturday on a pretend pub crawl (he always wants to hit more than one spot prior to dinner but he's a caveman and HANGRY sets in quickly) When we walked in I was surprised to note that it's dog friendly! I was greeted by an adorable pug and there were 2 gorgeous golden retrievers hanging out like its their "local" with their owners. I loved it. We sat at the bar and asked for suggestions based on our likes from their list of brewed on site choices and a cider that I was not familiar with. I went with the Amber ale... GOOD LORD that is good beer! Honestly, I was gonna check out the cider next but I couldn't pass up another pint of that Amber. Caveman had the Pilsner, I believe, as they were heavy on IPA's and he's not a fan of those. There was a private room which was being used to host a 30th birthday party right next to the bar that looked cozy with couches and more comfy chairs. You can look through windows into the brewing area if u are so inclined. No food menu to speak of but I saw they were heating up giant soft pretzels and I think cheese balls were also on offer. We started with a guest tap which was delicious and then had a flight of brindle haus brews which all were incredible. The flight trays are well designed and numbered so you know which type you are drinking. Not a great menu but they did have house made popcorn and snacks. No food, the staff are not very hospitable, and they are not mindful of the other businesses that share the plaza. Rochester has many amazing breweries, this is a one hit wonder. Our first experience was our last experience, rowdy atmosphere the staff was not attentive, the beer was water down and pretzels expensive and was put on a napkin not even a plate. We walked in and immediately and this was in mid day screaming female teachers in our ears, echoing Throughout the whole place screamed across my face from the bar to the table of screening teachers. I get it schools out, equals no kids, Equals let's get drunk girls!!!
