Great little, Unexpected location. Wonderful outdoor piece where kids can run around. Live music was good (Very loud in doors). But we're told lots of music which is awesome. We did not have food but will next time.

Good bar but the outdoors space is basically a dog park. A total s-show. Thanks but no thanks.

Great community of people, we go on many different styles of runs for all skill levels. Very supportive running group that indulges in local Canandaigua businesses as well, especially the home base Peacemaker Brewing. Very happy joining this run group.

    Great beer garden

Great location in downtown Canandaigua, good beers, great people and music 2 - 3 times a week. Good selection of pub food too!

Has a good vibe once you walk in. Not too many tables inside but had a lot of outdoor tables with the heat lamps. I tried a flight and liked every beer i tried. The lager was my favorite. There was also one called catch me if you can, i think it was a cider? It was really good too. But my boyfriend tried the Nada ipa and it was sooooo good! I do not like hoppy so i stay away from ipa's. But i would totally order that myself. Had hot pretzel sticks for the whole mandatory food thing. They were actually really good and perfect with the beers. Friendly staff and appreciated the hand sanitizer on every table. Would recommend stopping by. Just don't park in the big empty gravel lot across the street where you think you would be able too. The guy who owns that lot apparently tows (you would think hed invest in a big non-parking private property sign). Right behind that gravel lot is an actual parking lot you can park in and walk thru that gravel lot to peacemaker brewery. Just a helpful tip before you get inside and have to go move your car. We had to and watched like 3 others after us do the same thing :)

The peach beer... as you can tell it was DELICIOUS!

Great beer and atmosphere. There's always something fun going on here. Euchre, Bingo and bands. And the new outdoor patio is fantastic.

Great beer and fantastic people. Plus, they participate in Beer Pass! Make sure to try the pumpkin ale and NADA IPA.

Yet another well done spot by OH! Rumor has it that they picked up this beautiful lakefront spot…read morefor a song from the previous owners that were happy to be out of the game. With the great beer you've come to expect from OH and the wonderful lake views, it's hard to see how this place isn't jammed every night. The food was better than expected. The pretzel was massive and cooked perfectly, the pistachio ice cream donut was creative and tasty, and the usual suspects (pub grub) was about as good as it gets. Beertenders were friendly and helpful. Only bad side is the website isn't well updated so many of the to go beers were not available.

Decided to take a drive and ended up here…read more I have to say I was generally happy with the experience. The upstairs or "loft" was open for lunch and they have large windows with lake views. You order at the bar and pick up the food when your pager goes off. It was definitely busy so grab a table while one person orders if possible. I'm not a beer drinker so I ordered a Rum Slushy which was refreshing and nicely balanced. My dining partner got a soda which was also nice. We ordered some wings, a hot dog and an oyster po'boy sandwich. The order of wings was huge and probably enough on its own. The hot dog was a hot dog so ok. The PoBoy sandwich was good. I will say the bread was toasted inside but was very soft on the outside so the sandwich kind of fell apart. I'd have been happy just eating the fried oysters with the fillings as a salad. The fries were good as well. Overall, a nice way to have a drink and some food. Good customer service. Clean bathrooms.

I don't care how good they are, the service was awful…read more I'm seated and she comes over right away to give me a menu. She comes back maybe three minutes later, and I wasn't ready to order yet. So she leaves. They were busy, but they only had two servers covering the entire restaurant I was ready to order just a couple of minutes later, and my server never came back. I waited, I even tried to wave down the other server. She just looked at me and walked away. She didn't even bother to tell my server that I was ready to order or that I needed something. Not only that, but the prices were pretty ridiculous. $18 for a simple Cuban sandwich? Not including something to drink? I found a little place just up the road a few miles in Geneva you could get a full dinner for a little over 10 bucks. Thanks anyway, buh--bye.

When I think of this place, my stomach growls immediately. I think of hand-breaded chicken tenders…read morelike NO other, steaks, salads, and definitely a cocktail or two. Their smoked mac and cheese will blow your mind and you can split it with someone, it's so much food. I do have to comment that I, along with my family, does not enjoy country music at all, so listening to that isn't my favorite. More disappointing, my Mother asked if they might try some other music for those who have been frequenting that location since the 50s (maybe some 50's, 60's, 70's music) and was told "that's what the staff likes, country". Where I come from, it's not about the staff, it's about the customers. Regardless, I still go because the food is just that good.

The Rose Tavern located in the renowned Lake House on Canandaigua Lake. The ambiance is beautiful…read more The staff is welcoming. The bartenders were extremely talented. Steven and Megan are a proper fun duo behind the bar but their skills really stand out. My only negative is HOW EXPENSIVE the drinks are. You have to remember that this is an experience and enjoy every moment but be prepared for a steep bar/restaurant bill. We will definitely be back again. We are locals and have so few lakefront dining/drinking venues that this is a nice place to enjoy the views with a mix of local wines and international, spirits and beers. Cin Cin!

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.
