It's a very nice facility with talented, professional, and dedicated instructors. My husband and I dance in this studio for 10 years and learned to dance from Jessica and Slava. We studied smooth, standard and some Latin and at the end of each project it felt amazing to be able to dance beautifully. My goals and constraints changed in time and it feels nice that dance instructors listened and adjusted to us. What a wonderful way to spend a holiday vacation - I took a series of private lessons with the marvelously professional and patient Faridun. He was creative and stylish in his session design, ultimately letting me try the rumba, tango, foxtrot, cha cha cha and more in addition to the salsa lessons I'd requested. A gifted teacher who left me much better educated and more confident than I began! We are new to dancing, well I am. This is a beautiful facility and the bios of the instructor's are top notch. They definitely create great dancers. It's Bellevue so you definitely pay Bellevue prices but Elna West for me is a fantastic instructor and everything I need as a beginner she is why i extend my training. read more

When my wife and I moved to Seattle, we looked around at the various dance studios in the area. We found that Briora not only was the most professional, but had a beautiful studio as well. My wife dances at a much higher level than I, and has had excellent training and support from the instructors. I am quite new to dancing, but they have also given me wonderful instruction. I am certainly not a "natural" at this, but they have been moving me along and I am finally feeling that I am beginning to dance. One of the most beautiful studios I've been in - classy, clean, spacious. The instructors are friendly and professional but can also be very laid back. Jessica and Slava have a way of making people feel at ease. I always have so much fun during group lessons - the classes are not overly large so the instructor is able to keep an eye on everyone's technique. I also feel that Slava tailors my private lessons to how I'm progressing and even how I feel that day. There's a general syllabus that he loosely goes by, adding and taking away what fits for me on the bronze level. I was rating it 4/5 stars only because it's tough on my budget, but then again, you get what you pay for! Also because it seems that I'm the youngest student attending... The Seattle area may have a younger population for dancing, so I guess you'd have to choose either your company or the value of your instruction. Still, for a quality ballroom studio with trophy-winning instructors, I'd have to go with 5/5. read more

Posh place with separate dance and practice areas, some slick sound and video technology, and loads of other niceties. A gem buried in the heart of an office park. The instructors here are not only extremely talented performers, but also great pedagogues. They seem to enjoy teaching as much as they enjoy dancing, and make lessons fun and entertaining for all. The introductory offer and monthy group packages are unbeatable, and include weekly dance parties and practice sessions. There's a good rotation of friendly singles and couples of all skill levels to pracitce with, and they also have frequent workshops with visiting instructors to keep things fresh. If you want to learn to dance, this is the place to do it! The instructors are all expert and competition dancers and the ballroom is a real ballroom, not some storefront with a wooden floor. I have been dancing here for over a year and it feels like a family. People are warm and welcoming. My dancing has come a long way in just a little over a year - yours will too! read more

I had never danced before in my life and was looking to learn. So I found Briora through google and tried their introductory class. After a brief tour of the studio which had a surprisingly beautiful appearance and atmosphere, they assigned me to the instructor Eva who has been magnificent and inspiring. However all the instructors are very knowledgeable, fun, adaptive, and particularly excellent at guiding people new to dancing. Other students are very friendly and clearly having a good time there as well. There are gatherings on Fridays where people socialize and practice. It's a great way to get better at dancing with real people in a warm, energetic, and welcoming setting. It's a great and magical place. read more

I gave this studio a 5-star review when they opened earlier this year which for some reason was deleted from Yelp. Several months later, it's still 5 stars. I love the professional quality of the place and its owner/instructors... beautiful, well lit, clean, spacious, friendly. The quality of the instruction is top notch (it's how to dance, not just learning steps), and I'm fully satisfied with the value I get for my monthly memberships and private lessons. Group classes are presently an incredible buy because, until Briora builds up its following,the small classes allow for plenty of personal attention.
