Premiere has been a place where she's been given the opportunity to grow and be challenged as a dancer and performer, while also maintaining her passion in the art. This year is my daughter's 4th year on the competition team. I have already seen so much improvement on her skills. The high quality instructors are incredibly impressive, and do a great job making use of the full lesson time. The instructor's passion for dancing and teaching definitely rubs off on the students in such a positive way. The instructors that she's taking classes from are exceptional and each bring out growth opportunities for my daughter, while maintaining the appropriate level fun. Premiere Dance Center has been my daughter's second home for years and we look forward to many more to come. I also take adult dance classes at Premiere and have really enjoyed these. There's a nice variety of classes to choose from, in different styles. The instructors do a great job of adjusting the lesson to the skill level of dancers in the class. I highly recommend any adult dancer to try these classes. Overall, I'd highly recommend bringing your children to Premiere Dance Center or taking adult classes yourselves. It's a great environment full of great instruction, good friends, and fun.

I wished they had cubbies for storing your stuff in the dance room instead of in a separate storage room. People in the class all just brought their belongings to the dance room, and many ended up being on the floor and could be obstacles when dancing with a large group as we did.

The instructor for this kpop dance class, Emily, was amazing and fun to learn from! She spoke both Mandarin and English and was able to teach in either languages. The class was super fun and we had a great time. The only room for improvement was that I wished they had cubbies for storing our belongings. We had to put our jackets and purses on the floor. The 3 rooms were right next to each other, and we could hear music from other rooms during the class. But it was not a big deal to me as I was enjoying the class. Restrooms were shared with the building; no code needed. Parking was easy as the studio was in a plaza, and there was a parking lot. There were also restaurants in the same plaza that we could go to after the class.

It's more of a drive for us but totally worth it! We have loved the open studio, and they have many safety regulations in place to help keep the studio open. Even the younger kids stay and dance in their own 6 foot squares! Miss Danielle is very sweet while also able to wrangle in the littles when they get chatty! You leave feeling accomplished after a thorough workout while dancing to great songs. I wasn't sure what to expect when I came here. It was a bit confusing trying to find the studio. When you enter from street level, you have to go downstairs towards the Underground Dance Studio. You can either dance barefoot or with shoes (wish they could make a rule about which one because my feet always get dirty). The class starts off with some warm up dances and then moves through different types of styles of dancing with each song change. You get to express yourself however you want to. You don't have to do every single move the same way and they encourage movement around the floor. Thankfully there are a bunch of fans around the room because by the 3rd song I'm always sweating. There are no official breaks so step off the dance floor and get water as necessary. Class ends with some stretching and warm cloths with some sort of essential oil. I can't wait til the next class!

I figured I would just try this place out since it was quite close to my home and it had good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how cheerful and upbeat all the instructors are (I tried Zumba/Hiphop and More than Dance classes and probably have been in classes with 5 different instructors (depending on the day/time you choose to go). What I can say is that all the instructors are have their own styles but are definitely wonderful and will keep you happily dancing. What I particularly like about this place is the christmas lighting and the setting that makes you not feel so self-conscious about what you are doing wrong or how terrible of a dancer you may think you are. I admit that I'm not a naturally good dancer and I have a good time everytime I go there. There are, of course, some people there who can dance like rock stars and look really cool when they dance. However, the instructors there are very encouraging and provide guidance what you can do as a beginner, intermediate or advanced dancers, so you can really just do things at your own level and not care so much about others. It definitely feels liberating to just be able to dance your own style, at your own pace/level, and nobody is judging you on how you look or how weird you dance :). After the package ran out, I ended up signing up for more classes and still go there whenever I find some free time.

Jelena was great, clear instruction and didn't make anyone feel uncomfortable or lacking in knowledge, as an instructor should, being knowledgeable and building connections thru teaching the terminology and basics which I really really loved. She would do minor or simple adjustments to form and was very encouraging especially when we'd correct ourselves. All in all I really enjoyed myself and hopefully will be back in the future. My knee locked up and my hip sciatica did get triggered twice and that's nothing to do with instructors or anything, so I want to slowly build up on my strength and endurance before committing to reformer Pilates.
