The instructor for this kpop dance class, Emily, was amazing and fun to learn from! She spoke both Mandarin and English and was able to teach in either languages. The class was super fun and we had a great time. The only room for improvement was that I wished they had cubbies for storing our belongings. We had to put our jackets and purses on the floor. The 3 rooms were right next to each other, and we could hear music from other rooms during the class. But it was not a big deal to me as I was enjoying the class. Restrooms were shared with the building; no code needed. Parking was easy as the studio was in a plaza, and there was a parking lot. There were also restaurants in the same plaza that we could go to after the class.

I was very impressed with the Triple threat program last year and the Debut program and been a great warm up to competitions if she decide to audition. During shows, or rehearsals or competitions, the staff has been beyond helpful with letting the parents watch the shows, and taking care of the young girls backstage. They have answered all of my questions in such a timely manner, no matter how silly the subject manner is or if they had actually already told me the answer and I missed it. They have always been polite, friendly and professional. I can't express enough how grateful I am to this studio for helping my daughter start an active and healthy hobby as well as gain some confidence! At age 4 she joined the competition team and began taking a variety of classes with different instructors. Premiere has been a place where she's been given the opportunity to grow and be challenged as a dancer and performer, while also maintaining her passion in the art. This year is my daughter's 4th year on the competition team. I have already seen so much improvement on her skills. The high quality instructors are incredibly impressive, and do a great job making use of the full lesson time. The instructor's passion for dancing and teaching definitely rubs off on the students in such a positive way. The instructors that she's taking classes from are exceptional and each bring out growth opportunities for my daughter, while maintaining the appropriate level fun. Premiere Dance Center has been my daughter's second home for years and we look forward to many more to come. I also take adult dance classes at Premiere and have really enjoyed these. There's a nice variety of classes to choose from, in different styles. The instructors do a great job of adjusting the lesson to the skill level of dancers in the class. I highly recommend any adult dancer to try these classes. Overall, I'd highly recommend bringing your children to Premiere Dance Center or taking adult classes yourselves. I wished they had cubbies for storing your stuff in the dance room instead of in a separate storage room. People in the class all just brought their belongings to the dance room, and many ended up being on the floor and could be obstacles when dancing with a large group as we did.

That said, if you're looking for a fun extracurricular for your kid, or even a more serious one, but still one you don't expect them to make a career out of, I'd advise staying away. I attended for ~7yrs and suffer nightmares years later. It's a cutthroat environment. There are some good instructors (ex. Ms. Hiromi), but also some very unkind ones. The culture between dancers is not very good either, I suspect because of the students mirroring what is said to them by certain instructors. Bullying runs rampant and was, in some circumstances, pretty extreme. Outside of comments about technique and jealousy over roles, there were also a lot of damaging things said regarding weight, both by students and, rarely (but still enough to leave scars), instructors.

It is one of the premier dance academies in the area with amazing dance teachers! My daughter started in the little girls class, progressed to intermediate, went on pointe when she was 11, and has been enrolled in the pre-professional program. Not only has she learned a beautiful art form, but the classes also keep her in great physical shape, giving her a drive and a goal to strive towards. She's also made some amazing friendships along the way. Even in the young 4/5/6 year old classes, she was learning ballet but in a fun way. IBA encourages even the youngest dancers to have good technique and a good foundation, but also making dance fun and enjoyable. IBA even has a children's production every year to ensure even the youngest dancers have a chance to get on stage and experience that magic under the stage lights. Yes, IBA does have expectations for ALL their girls including the younger ones - simple expectations of having a neat bun, appropriate attire and a good attitude. Expectations that are something the girls will need to be prepared for later on as they get older whether in dance (at any academy!) or simply in life. Some expectations also include volunteering in the shows if your child is in it, even the older girls, us parents are required to put in our time. The expectations for both the children and adults are laid out explicitly ahead of time and its not the fault of IBA should someone not adhere to those. I highly recommend IBA - smaller class size so more individualized attention and teaching, solid foundation for classical Vaganova style dance with emphasis on encouraging a well-rounded dance background so they offer classes in other dance disciplines like jazz, contemporary, character, flamenco, modern.

The instructors are probably good dancers, but are not necessarily good at teaching. A couple of them frequently fail to explain the moves detailedly and leave students enough time to digest and practice, even in lowest level classes. Of course, there are also good teachers, so be sure to pay attention. The MV classes are also not as "entry-level" as advertised. They always cherrypick more skilled participants as long as they can, even if that requires delaying the posted deadlines multiple times.

I have been working out here for almost a year now and have not once felt judged or watched. The trainers in this gym are amazing putting 100% effort in trainings for each and every session, not only do I feel more confident but also happier The front desk team is always on top of cleaning, organizing and making sure the gym is at its best, the whole 23Fit team shows a welcoming community and I wouldn't want to choose any other gym! The equipment is in fantastic shape and the gym is always clean and organized. They have a fantastic variety of free weights and machines and can accommodate almost any type of training. As other reviewers have noted, the location is very convenient, there's dedicated parking, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Update after 2 years of working out here. Still *love* this gym. Wanted to add that I've been doing PT sessions (8x a month) with their personal trainers, Jeremy and Andrew. Can't recommend them enough! Both know their stuff, provide excellent feedback, support, and motivation, and something that didn't occur to me ahead of time - they help get the weights/exercises setup, which makes my time in the gym that much more efficient! The gym is going to continue adding new equipment, and they have some great plans for the future. I'm excited to see what comes.
