DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. I purchased a 2026 Chevy Traverse from Bristol Chevy after originally owning a 2021 Traverse purchased through them. Josh was my salesman and we negotiated my monthly payment at his desk down to the $804 I needed it to be, which included weekly payments to the bank. During the sales and finance process, I specifically asked about the payment amount being higher on the paperwork at signing, and was explicitly assured by finance manager Darin that it was because the payment amount showed the price at a monthly payment, not weekly as discussed with Josh, and that I was also advised my warranties/add-ons from my 2021 would be "transferred to the new vehicle at no additional cost" and were "included in the deal." After the paperwork was completed, I discovered those products were actually added into my new loan, increasing the financed amount and resulting in a minimum payment of $923/month, far different from what was represented to me during the negotiating process. I was told the lower payment discussion was due to payment structure/interest, not additional financed products. I contacted the dealership and gave them the opportunity to correct the issue and cancel the unapproved add-ons. After more than 19 days, they have refused to fix the situation. Instead of resolving the issue they created, I was informed "the only option" was to run my credit yet again and roll me into yet another vehicle while already upside down on the current loan in an effort to lower the payment. My salesman, Josh, is now the finance manager and refuses accept accountability or to discuss my sale because I used "deceptive" and "misrepresented" to describe it, which are not opinions, they are actual descriptors of the way this dealership has handled my sale. The lack of transparency, misrepresentation of financed products, and refusal to correct the issue has been extremely disappointing. Buyers should carefully review every finance document with an attorney present and verify every add-on before signing, regardless of what is verbally promised in the finance office when additional clarification is asked for because this dealership will lie and twist the terms to make a sale while taking advantage of their repeat customers. At this time, the dealership has refused to refund the unapproved cancellable warranties like they said they would have 19 days ago because Josh "doesn't work on Tuesdays." read more

Driving from New Jersey to Louisiana on I-81 in my Silverado, and noticed my alternator was not charging the battery. Since it seemed a little sluggish starting, I assumed it was the battery not taking a charge. Checked internet and found Bristol Chevrolet fairly close. Spoke to the service person and she was wonderful. They had the battery I needed and had it changed out in about 45 minutes. This was exceptional service to a traveling 80 year old and his companion. Received a mailer with a "cash prize" and went to redeem it. Not only did the salesperson not take no for an answer multiple times, including even pushing me to do sales for him out in my personal life, but the actual prize was dollar store quality earbuds. At a time when SNAP has bern cut off and people are desperate for enough money to feed their families, trying to boost your sales by luring them in with the promise of cash and instead just wasting those people's time and energy is a really bad look. It is, in fact, so distasteful that I will never step foot on this property again and would advise others to do the same. I think this place has a bad rap from former owners/managers, but I don't know for sure. I bought a used car from Brandon and he was very helpful. They do things differently in this area then in any other place I've ever bought a car (must test drive, price isn't on the car) but they were pleasant and I was able to negotiate the deal I wanted. The sales manager named John was very rude & unprofessional when me & my husband went to look at a truck & told him we had a budget. He attends to tell us we should be able to afford a $1300 payment when I am pregnant & us having other bills. I don't think he should be telling people what they can afford when he's not the one that's going to be making the payment. And he also started asking personal questions on why I wasn't able to drive at the moment when my husband was the one that's getting the truck to begin with. Do not buy from Bristol Chevrolet I bought a 2022 Blazer used in November 2023 when I got it home it had damage to the grill, the vehicle is black and I didn't notice it on the lot, the windshield washer doesn't wort and the headlight has damage, this was never pointed out to me, well I called several times and could not get anyone to solve the problem most of the time I never received a call back, so I take it to a body shop and was told that this vehicle has been wrecked, oh and Bristol Chevrolet ran a carfax before I bought it and no the carfax was clear, they took a picture of me with the car after I bought it and you can clearly see the damage, the damage right now have cost me around 1200.00 so please don't be stupid like I was and buy from Bristol Chevrolet!!! read more

This has to be the worst dealership that I have I have ever dealt with. I bought a new 2022 Silverado 2500HD last year and less than 800 miles they had to replace the evaporator core, Now less than 10,000 miles its been in the shop again because both floor boards are wet. It's been in the shop for a week now and they don't why, they say that they know that's there's a leak but they don't know why. The carpet smells. If i ever get It back and it's fixed right, I will take my business elsewhere . This was my 1st brand new chevrolet and probably my Last one. This has really turned me against both. read more

Horrible EXPERIENCEIENCE!!!!! Bought a used car there that was supposed to of been sent through a multiple point inspection. Financed through GM(After hours and knew we would refinance with our local bank). While in financing we were refused the chance to purchase an extended warranty. Was told vehicle is in great condition, so just get the extended warranty when you refinance. 20 mins after leaving the dealer, the transmission started acting up. I immediately called the salesmen, to let him know. No response, Called the Internet Sales Manager to let her know. She said to bring it back in and they would get it fixed. After 2 trips to Bristol to have them diagnose the transmission, I final had to ride with the Tech to show him what it was doing. Once I did that, they sent it to Ford to diagnose, and it needed a new transmission. Bristol Chevrolet refused to cover the cost of the transmission or give us a loaner while it was in the shop. Eventually got them to agree to pay $4,000 on the transmission (Email to show they agreed). After about two weeks I had to call Ford myself to see if the transmission was in. It was and they hadn't been able to get ahold of Bristol Chevrolet. I finally had to make the calls myself to get Bristol to respond. Ford got our vehicle in within the next couple of days and replaced the transmission. Went to pay our part and Bristol had reneged on paying the $4,000. I have Sent Several emails to the Internet Sales Manager since then and NO response. I have left several messages for the General Manager (Kevin) during this ordeal and still haven't gotten a call back. Horrible Dealership!! Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else! read more

I wish i could give this place NO stars. These folks took advantage of my 74 year old mother! She had JUST lost her husband (49 years of marriage!!) She was disoriented, grieving, and not in her right mind! Lured her into the dealership and told "you are gonna buy a car today" (over and over and over). Took her to an office and wooed her by feeding her ribs, and showing her numbers that were misleading. Even (when she was nervous and anxious about the transaction) actually"PRAYED" with her! Detestable! Got her a payment that was "manageable" (she was upside down and they refinanced the difference into her new loan... yeah.... that's normal but they DIDN'T tell her! Grrrr) She tried to talk to the manager and was AGAIN talked into sitting with the finance gal who "worked her a better deal" or so they told her.... all they did just add years to the loan (AGAIN not telling her). Sharks...predators.... anything for a dollar. I don't believe in karma but i do believe in God. I don't believe they will EVER be able to enjoy the money they earned off taking advantage of my mom. I'm a very angry daughter. My mom is not happy with this car they put her in..... they know exactly what to say to lure vulnerable folks into buying cars they do not even want! "You ARE going to buy a car today..... You ARE going to buy a car today" they suckered her in. Twice. And all she wanted was for them to have some mercy considering her circumstances. Update - The dealership noted that if we came by and talked to them they would try to make this right. I called and was told to stop by any time but Tuesday. My wife and I went by on Wednesday, and was told the COO was not there and we had to come back another time. Obviously they were just blowing smoke so we gave up.
